An instrument of controlled rate evolved gas analysis (CREGA) coupled with TG‐DTA was constructed for analyzing the influences of product gases on the kinetics and mechanism of the thermal decomposition of solids that produce more than one gaseous products at the same stage of reaction. The thermal decomposition of synthetic malachite, Cu2(OH)2CO3, was subjected to the measurements of CREGA‐TG under controlled concentrations of H2O and CO2 in the reaction atmosphere with taking account of self‐generated H2O and CO2 during the course of reaction. By a series of CREGA‐TG measurements carried out under various atmospheric conditions, it was reconfirmed that the reaction is accelerated and decelerated by the effects of atmospheric H2O and CO2, respectively. From the kinetic analysis of the CREGA‐TG curves and results of high temperature X‐ray diffraction measurements under various reaction atmospheres, it was revealed that the anomalous effects of atmospheric H2O on the reactivity and on the reaction rate of the thermal decomposition of synthetic malachite appear at the early stage of the reaction. Usefulness of the CREGA‐TG technique for measuring the kinetic rate data for the thermal decomposition of solids was demonstrated in the present study, by emphasizing the importance of quantitative control of self‐generated reaction atmosphere. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Demethyl derivatives of steganes and deoxypodorhizon, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12, 13, 18, 23, were prepared by the selective demethylation of the methoxy group of steganes and deoxypodorhizon, 2, 5, 8, 11, 22. The cytotoxicity of these derivatives was evaluated against KB cell and was found not to exceed that of the parent steganes. 4-Demethyldeoxypodorhizon (18) was found to show more potent cytotoxicity than deoxypodorhizon.  相似文献

By alternate UV and visible light irradiation, reversible topographical changes were observed on a newly synthesized diarylethene microcrystalline surface between the rough crystalline surface of an open-ring isomer and flat eutectic surfaces. The contact angle changes of a water droplet between 80° and 150° and peak intensities changes of the open-ring isomer in XRD patterns within 2 h of repeating cycle were observed. The results indicated that reversibly photogenerated rod-shaped crystals on the surface were produced based on the lattice of the open-ring isomer crystals in the subphase.  相似文献

Aiming to find rigorous understanding and novel features for their potential applications, the physico-geometrical kinetics of the thermal decomposition of sodium hydrogencarbonate (SHC) was investigated by focusing on the phenomenological events taking place on a single crystalline particle during the course of the reaction. The overall kinetics evaluated by systematic measurements of the kinetic rate data by thermogravimetry under carefully controlled conditions were interpreted in association with the morphological studies on the precursory reaction, mechanism of surface reaction, structure of the surface product layer, diffusion path of evolved gases, crystal growth of the solid product, and so on. The precursory reaction was identified as the decomposition of impurity, taking place at the boundary between the surface of the SHC crystal and the adhesive small SHC particles deposited on the surface. In flowing dry N(2), the thermal decomposition of SHC proceeds by two-dimensional shrinkage of the reaction interface controlled by chemical reaction with the apparent activation energy of about 100 kJ mol(-1), after rapid completion of the surface reaction and formation of porous surface product layer. Atmospheric CO(2) and water vapor influence differently on the overall kinetics of the thermal decomposition of SHC. Added gas phase of CO(2) slightly inhibits the overall rate because of the increasing contribution of the surface reaction. Under higher water vapor pressure, the physico-geometrical mechanism of the surface reaction changes drastically, indicating the preliminary reformation of reactant surface and the formation of needle crystals of solid product on the surface. The mechanistic change and extended contribution of the surface reaction result in the deceleration of the surface reaction and acceleration of the established reaction.  相似文献

A convenient synthesis of indole triflones is reported. N-Alkyl, aryl and N-H indole triflones were obtained in 82-96% yields by the Tf(2)O/TTBP System. Biindolyl triflones were accessed in 51-81% yields for the first time by simple treatment of the resulting indole triflones with a base and without any use of organometallic chemistry. An environmentally friendly solvent, Solkane 365/227, can be substituted for this process without any loss of efficiency.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the construction of basis matrices of visual secret sharing schemes for color images under the (t, n)-threshold access structure, where nt ≥ 2 are arbitrary integers. We treat colors as elements of a bounded semilattice and regard stacking two colors as the join of the two corresponding elements. We generate n shares from a secret image with K colors by using K matrices called basis matrices. The basis matrices considered in this paper belong to a class of matrices each element of which is represented by a homogeneous polynomial of degree n. We first clarify a condition such that the K matrices corresponding to K homogeneous polynomials become basis matrices. Next, we give an algebraic scheme for the construction of basis matrices. It is shown that under the (t, n)-threshold access structure we can obtain K basis matrices from appropriately chosen K − 1 homogeneous polynomials of degree n by using simple algebraic operations. In particular, we give basis matrices that are unknown so far for the cases of t = 2, 3 and n − 1.  相似文献

Chiral Lewis acid-catalyzed asymmetric alcohol addition reactions to cyclic carbonyl ylides generated from N-(α-diazocarbonyl)-2-oxazolidinones featuring a dual catalytic system are reported. Construction of a chiral quaternary heteroatom-substituted carbon center was accomplished in which the unique heterobicycles were obtained in good yields with high stereoselection. The alcohol adducts were successfully converted to optically active oxazolidine-2,4-diones by hydrolysis. Mechanistic studies by DFT calculations revealed that alcohols could be activated by Lewis acids, enabling enantioselective protonation of the carbonyl ylides.  相似文献

Thermal response was measured for a deeply supercooled glycerol specimen by applying calorimetric temperature scanning rate spectroscopy, cooling the specimen from liquid at a slow constant cooling rate until glass transition was observed. The effective fraction of glass as a function of temperature was determined and a new definition of glass transition temperature, TgC, as the temperature at which the effective glass fraction to be 0.5 was presented. The relation between this and the cooling rate showed the Arrhenius behavior. The effective glass fraction curves shifted linearly as a function of ln(cooling rate). When T was scaled to the Lillie Number, the glass fraction lay on a master curve, which was successfully fitted with a Kohlrausch–Williams–Watts function. The Kohlrausch exponent, the relaxation time as a function of temperature and the kinetic fragility index were determined. The results were compared with literature values.  相似文献

The kinetics of the thermal decompositions of CaCO3, SrCO3 and BaCO3 into their oxides were studied by thermogravimetry at constant and linearly increasing temperatures. The kinetics of the isothermal decompositions of calcium and strontium carbonates were described by the lawR n =1–(1–)1/n , wheren=1.8 and 1.2, respectively. The kinetics of the non-isothermal decompositions of the two carbonates, analysed by the Ozawa and Coats-Redfern methods, were in keeping with the isothermal kinetics. True kinetic compensation laws were established for each decomposition of the two carbonates, including the data under both isothermal and non-isothermal conditions.As concerns the decompositions of BaCO3, however, there was some difference between the kinetic features relating the isothermal and non-isothermal conditions. A true kinetic compensation law was not established in this case.
Zusammenfassung Die Kinetik der thermischen Zersetzung von CaCO3, SrCO3 und BaCO3 zu den Oxiden wurden durch Thermogravimetrie bei konstanter und linear ansteigender Temperatur untersucht. Die Kinetik der isothermen Zersetzung von Calcium- und Strontium-carbonat folgt dem GesetzR n =1–(1 –)1/n, won=1,8 bzw. 1,2. Die Kinetik der nichtisothermen nach den Methoden von Ozawa und Coats-Redfern analysierten Zersetzung der zwei Carbonate ist in Übereinstimmung mit der isothermen Zersetzung. Wahre kinetische Kompensationsgesetze wurden für die Zersetzung der beiden Carbonate erhalten, einschließlich der sich sowohl auf isotherme als auch auf nichtisotherme Bedingungen beziehenden Daten. Was die Zersetzung von Bariumcarbonat betrifft, so wurden einige Unterschiede im kinetischen Verhalten bei der Zersetzung unter isothermen und nichtisothermen Bedingungen festgestellt. Ein wahres kinetisches Kompensationsgesetz konnte in diesem Falle nicht ermittelt werden.

KamLAND has measured the flux of nu;(e)'s from distant nuclear reactors. We find fewer nu;(e) events than expected from standard assumptions about nu;(e) propagation at the 99.95% C.L. In a 162 ton.yr exposure the ratio of the observed inverse beta-decay events to the expected number without nu;(e) disappearance is 0.611+/-0.085(stat)+/-0.041(syst) for nu;(e) energies >3.4 MeV. In the context of two-flavor neutrino oscillations with CPT invariance, all solutions to the solar neutrino problem except for the "large mixing angle" region are excluded.  相似文献
