The solid electrolyte 55 mol% CuI - 45 mol% Ag2MoO4 has been analyzed structurally by employing X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic (XPS) and laser Raman studies. The core level
Ag 3d, Cu 2p, Mo 3d, I 3d and O1s XPS spectra of the constituent elements were recorded. The presence of both bridging (BO)
and non-bridging (NBO) oxygen atoms in the oxyanion framework has been identified through the deconvolution of the O 1s spectrum.
Laser Raman spectroscopic studies tend to reveal that the oxyanion framework is constructed with [MoO
4
2−

When multidimensional scaling of n cases is derived from dissimilarities that are functions of p basic continuous variables, the question arises of how to relate the values of the variables to the configuration of n points. We provide a methodology based on nonlinear biplots that expresses nonlinearity in two ways: (i) each variable is represented by a nonlinear trajectory and (ii) each trajectory is calibrated by an irregular scale. Methods for computing, calibrating and interpreting these trajectories are given and exemplified. Not only are the tools of immediate practical utility but the methodology established assists in a critical appraisal of the consequences of using nonlinear measures in a variety of multidimensional scaling methods. 相似文献

X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and laser Raman scattering (LRS) techniques have been employed to investigate the structure of amorphous (CuI)0.45–(Ag2WO4)0.55 solid electrolyte sample. XPS results reveal the presence of both Cu+ and Cu2+ ions whereas tungsten is found to exist only in the oxidation state of +6. The deconvolution of the O 1s spectrum into non-bridging and bridging oxygen atoms in conjunction with the laser Raman analysis tend to show that the amorphous (CuI)0.45–(Ag2WO4)0.55 solid electrolyte sample is composed mostly of octahedral WO6 units that probably form [W4O16]8− tetramer clusters, the existence of which is unique in the case of oxyhalide glasses. 相似文献
