The reactions of the phosphinidene-bridged complex [Mo(2)Cp(2)(μ-PH)(η(6)-HMes*)(CO)(2)] (1), the arylphosphinidene complexes [Mo(2)Cp(2)(μ-κ(1):κ(1),η(6)-PMes*)(CO)(2)] (2), [Mo(2)Cp(2)(μ-κ(1):κ(1),η(4)-PMes*)(CO)(3)] (3), [Mo(2)Cp(2)(μ-κ(1):κ(1),η(4)-PMes*)(CO)(2)(CN(t)Bu)] (4), and the cyclopentadienylidene-phosphinidene complex [Mo(2)Cp(μ-κ(1):κ(1),η(5)-PC(5)H(4))(η(6)-HMes*)(CO)(2)] (5) toward different sources of chalcogen atoms were investigated (Mes* = 2,4,6-C(6)H(2)(t)Bu(3); Cp = η(5)-C(5)H(5)). The bare elements were appropriate sources in all cases except for oxygen, in which case dimethyldioxirane gave the best results. Complex 1 reacted with the mentioned chalcogen sources at low temperature, to give the corresponding chalcogenophosphinidene derivatives [Mo(2)Cp(2){μ-κ(2)(P,Z):κ(1)(P)-ZPH}(η(6)-HMes*)(CO)(2)] (Z = O, S, Se, Te; P-Se = 2.199(2) ?). The arylphosphinidene complex 2 was the least reactive substrate and gave only chalcogenophosphinidene derivatives [Mo(2)Cp(2)(μ-κ(2)(P,Z):κ(1)(P),η(6)-ZPMes*)(CO)(2)] for Z = O and S (P-O = 1.565(2) ?), along with small amounts of the dithiophosphorane complex [Mo(2)Cp(2)(μ-κ(2)(P,S):κ(1)(S'),η(6)-S(2)PMes*)(CO)(2)], in the reaction with sulfur. The η(4)-complexes 3 and 4 reacted with sulfur and gray selenium to give the corresponding derivatives [Mo(2)Cp(2)(μ-κ(2)(P,Z):κ(1)(P),η(4)-ZPMes*)(CO)(2)L] (L = CO, CN(t)Bu), obtained respectively as syn (Z = Se; P-Se = 2.190(1) ? for L = CO) or a mixture of syn and anti isomers (Z = S; P-S = 2.034(1)-2.043(1) ?), with these diastereoisomers differing in the relative positioning of the chalcogen atom and the terminal ligand at the metallocene fragment, relative to the Mo(2)P plane. The cyclopentadienylidene compound 5 reacted with all chalcogens, and gave with good yields the chalcogenophosphinidene derivatives [Mo(2)Cp(μ-κ(2)(P,Z):κ(1)(P),η(5)-ZPC(5)H(4))(η(6)-HMes*)(CO)(2)] (Z = S, Se, Te), these displaying in solution equilibrium mixtures of the corresponding cis and trans isomers differing in the relative positioning of the cyclopentadienylic rings with respect to the MoPZ plane in each case. The sulfur derivative reacted with excess sulfur to give the dithiophosphorane complex [Mo(2)Cp(μ-κ(2)(P,S):κ(1)(S'),η(5)-S(2)PC(5)H(4))(η(6)-HMes*)(CO)(2)] (P-S = 2.023(4) and 2.027(4) ?). The structural and spectroscopic data for all chalcogenophosphinidene complexes suggested the presence of a significant π(P-Z) bonding interaction within the corresponding MoPZ rings, also supported by Density Functional Theory calculations on the thiophosphinidene complex syn-[Mo(2)Cp(2)(μ-κ(2)(P,S):κ(1)(P),η(4)-SPMes*)(CO)(3)].  相似文献

The ruthenium "blue dimer" [(bpy)(2)Ru(III)OH(2)](2)O(4+) is best known as the first well-defined molecular catalyst for water oxidation. It has been subject to numerous computational studies primarily employing density functional theory. However, those studies have been limited in the functionals, basis sets, and continuum models employed. The controversy in the calculated electronic structure and the reaction energetics of this catalyst highlights the necessity of benchmark calculations that explore the role of density functionals, basis sets, and continuum models upon the essential features of blue-dimer reactivity. In this paper, we report Kohn-Sham complete basis set (KS-CBS) limit extrapolations of the electronic structure of "blue dimer" using GGA (BPW91 and BP86), hybrid-GGA (B3LYP), and meta-GGA (M06-L) density functionals. The dependence of solvation free energy corrections on the different cavity types (UFF, UA0, UAHF, UAKS, Bondi, and Pauling) within polarizable and conductor-like polarizable continuum model has also been investigated. The most common basis sets of double-zeta quality are shown to yield results close to the KS-CBS limit; however, large variations are observed in the reaction energetics as a function of density functional and continuum cavity model employed.  相似文献

Passerini (P-3CR) and Passerini-Smiles reactions were investigated in azetidine-2,3-diones, affording the corresponding 3,3-disubstituted-β-lactams with complete diastereoselectivity in high yields. The study has been carried out using different isocyanides, carboxylic acids, and phenols showing the scope of both reactions. In addition, the regioselective synthesis of highly functionalized β-lactam-triazole hybrids has been developed via a Passerini/CuAAC sequence. Interestingly, the use of dialkynes/diazides or trialkynes/triazides as linkers in the CuAAC step has allowed the synthesis of C(2) and C(3) symmetric β-lactam-triazole hybrids, respectively.  相似文献

The reactions of Br(2)(˙-), Br˙, HO˙ and N(3)˙ with Aldrich humic acid (AHA) were investigated. The Br/Br(2)(˙-) radicals were obtained in flash-photolysis experiments (λ(exc) = 266 nm) performed with NaS(2)O(8) solutions in the presence of bromide ions. HO˙ and N(3)˙ radicals were generated by pulse radiolysis of N(2)O-saturated solutions. From the combination of a bilinear analysis and computer simulations of the absorbance traces, it was possible to obtain information on the rate constants for the reactions of Br(2)(˙-), Br˙, HO˙ and N(3)˙ with AHA and on the intermediate species involved in the mechanism. Evidence for the participation of phenoxyl radicals (λ(max) = 410 nm) is given.  相似文献

Many of the existing molecular simulation tools require the efficient identification of the set of nonbonded interacting atoms. This is necessary, for instance, to compute the energy values or the steric contacts between atoms. Cell linked-lists can be used to determine the pairs of atoms closer than a given cutoff distance in asymptotically optimal time. Despite this long-term optimality, many spurious distances are anyway computed with this method. Therefore, several improvements have been proposed, most of them aiming to refine the volume of influence for each atom. Here, we suggest a different improvement strategy based on avoiding to fill cells with those atoms that are always at a constant distance of a given atom. This technique is particularly effective when large groups of the particles in the simulation behave as rigid bodies as it is the case in simplified models considering only few of the degrees of freedom of the molecule. In these cases, the proposed technique can reduce the number of distance computations by more than one order of magnitude, as compared with the standard cell linked-list technique. The benefits of this technique are obtained without incurring in additional computation costs, because it carries out the same operations as the standard cell linked-list algorithm, although in a different order. Since the focus of the technique is the order of the operations, it might be combined with existing improvements based on bounding the volume of influence for each atom.  相似文献

Mixtures of n-octyl-β-d-thioglucoside with three different n-alkyltrimethylammonium bromides (n?=?12 (DTAB), 14 (TTAB), and 16 (CTAB)) have been studied by using fluorescence spectroscopic techniques. The critical micelle concentration values of pure and mixed systems were determined by the pyrene 1:3 ratio method. The experimental results were treated by using thermodynamic mixing approaches based on the pseudophase separation model. It was found that all the mixed systems show a negative deviation from ideal behavior, more pronounced as the larger the alkyl tail of the co-surfactant. It was also observed that the three mixed systems fulfill the conditions of synergism, this behavior being also dependent on the alkyl chain length. By using the static quenching method, the mean micellar aggregation numbers of mixed micelles were obtained. In all the cases, it was observed that the aggregation number is initially reduced with the participation of the cationic surfactant, remaining almost constant and close to the aggregation number of the pure cationic micelles. The local viscosity of pure and mixed micelles was examined by the photophysical response of the hydrophobic probe coumarin 6 solubilized in the micellar medium. It was found that the participation of the ionic component induces the formation of a less ordered structure than that of pure nonionic micelles. This effect being less pronounced as the chain hydrocarbon length of the co-surfactant increases.  相似文献

The toxicity and environmental behavior of new pH-sensitive surfactants from lysine are presented. Three different chemical structures are studied: surfactants with one amino acid and one alkyl chain, surfactants with two amino acids on the polar head and one alkyl chain, and gemini surfactants. The pH sensitivity of these compounds can be tuned by modifying their chemical structures. Cytotoxicity has been evaluated using erythrocytes and fibroblast cells. The toxic effects against these cells depend on the hydrophobicity of the molecules as well as their cationic charge density. The effect of hydrophobicity and cationic charge density on toxicity is different for each type of cells. For erythrocytes, the toxicity increases as hydrophobicity and charge density increases. Nevertheless, for fibroblasts cationic charge density affects cytotoxicity in the opposite way: the higher charge density, the lower the toxicity. The effect of the pH on hemolysis has been evaluated in detail. The aquatic toxicity was established using Daphnia magna . All surfactants yielded EC(50) values considerably higher than that reported for cationic surfactants based on quaternary ammonium groups. Finally, their biodegradability was evaluated using the CO(2) headspace test (ISO 14593). These lysine derivatives showed high levels of biodegradation under aerobic conditions and can be classified as "readily biodegradable compounds".  相似文献

The existence of solvent fluctuations leads to populations of reactant‐state (RS) and transition‐state (TS) configurations and implies that property calculations must include appropriate averaging over distributions of values for individual configurations. Average kinetic isotope effects 〈KIE〉 for NC?+EtCl→NCEt+Cl? in DMSO solution at 30 °C are best obtained as the ratio 〈fRS〉/〈fTS〉 of isotopic partition function ratios separately averaged over all RS and TS configurations. In this way the hybrid AM1/OPLS‐AA potential yields 〈KIE〉 values for all six isotopic substitutions (2° α‐2H2, 2° β‐2H3, α‐11C/14C, leaving group 37Cl, and nucleophile 13C and 15N) for this reaction in the correct direction as measured experimentally. These thermally‐averaged calculated KIEs may be compared meaningfully with experiment, and only one of them differs in magnitude from the experimental value by more than one standard deviation from the mean. This success contrasts with previous KIE calculations based upon traditional methods without averaging. The isotopic partition function ratios are best evaluated using all (internal) vibrational and (external) librational frequencies obtained from Hessians determined for subsets of atoms, relaxed to local minima or saddle points, within frozen solvent environments of structures sampled along molecular dynamics trajectories for RS and TS. The current method may perfectly well be implemented with other QM or QM/MM methods, and thus provides a useful tool for investigating KIEs in relation to studies of chemical reaction mechanisms in solution or catalyzed by enzymes.  相似文献

Tantalum complexes [TaCp*Me{κ4C,N,O,O‐(OCH2)(OCHC(CH2NMe2)?CH)py}] ( 4 ) and [TaCp*Me{κ4C,N,O,O‐(OCH2)(OCHC(CH2NH2)?CH)py}] ( 5 ), which contain modified alkoxide pincer ligands, were synthesized from the reactions of [TaCp*Me{κ3N,O,O‐(OCH2)(OCH)py}] (Cp*=η5‐C5Me5) with HC?CCH2NMe2 and HC?CCH2NH2, respectively. The reactions of [TaCp*Me{κ4C,N,O,O‐(OCH2)(OCHC(Ph)?CH)py}] ( 2 ) and [TaCp*Me{κ4C,N,O,O‐(OCH2)(OCHC(SiMe3)?CH)py}] ( 3 ) with triflic acid (1:2 molar ratio) rendered the corresponding bis‐triflate derivatives [TaCp*(OTf)23N,O,O‐(OCH2)(OCHC(Ph)?CH2)py}] ( 6 ) and [TaCp*(OTf)23N,O,O‐(OCH2)(OCHC(SiMe3)?CH2)py}] ( 7 ), respectively. Complex 4 reacted with triflic acid in a 1:2 molar ratio to selectively yield the water‐soluble cationic complex [TaCp*(OTf){κ4C,N,O,O‐(OCH2)(OCHC(CH2NHMe2)?CH)py}]OTf ( 8 ). Compound 8 reacted with water to afford the hydrolyzed complex [TaCp*(OH)(H2O){κ3N,O,O‐(OCH2)(OCHC(CH2NHMe2)?CH2)py}](OTf)2 ( 9 ). Protonation of compound 8 with triflic acid gave the new tantalum compound [TaCp*(OTf){κ4C,N,O,O‐(OCH2)(HOCHC(CH2NHMe2)?CH)py}](OTf)2 ( 10 ), which afforded the corresponding protonolysis derivative [TaCp*(OTf)23N,O,O‐(OCH2)(HOCHC(CH2NHMe2)?CH2)py}](OTf) ( 11 ) in solution. Complex 8 reacted with CNtBu and potassium 2‐isocyanoacetate to give the corresponding iminoacyl derivatives 12 and 13 , respectively. The molecular structures of complexes 5 , 7 , and 10 were established by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction studies.  相似文献
