The effect of pressure on the dissociation constant of hydrofluoric acid was determined by using the indicator technique at 25°C at an ionic strength of 0.1m over a pressure range of 1 to 2000 atm. A value of 3.14 for pK a * at I =0 was obtained by extrapolation to zero ionic strength at 1 atm. The pressure dependence yielded a partial molar volume change of –9.6 cm3-mol–1 and a compressibility change of — 35×10–3 cm3-mol–1 –atm–1 for the dissociation. The dependence of ionic strength on the association constant K A * of NaF was studied at 25°C and 1 atm. Extrapolation to I=0 yielded a pK A * of –0.78. The pressure dependence of K A * gave a change of volume of 3.26 cm3-mol–1 and a change in compressibility of 6×10–3 cm3-mol–1-atm–1 for the formation of the ion pair.  相似文献

Photoaffinity analogues of alpha-tocopherol have been prepared by substituting photosensitive functional groups at either the terminus of an alkyl chain of varying length mimicking the phytyl tail or on C-3 of the chroman portion of tocopherol. The alkyl chain-modified compounds 2a-d contain a hexyl to nonyl alkyl chain extending from C-2 of the chroman, terminating in a tetrafluoroazidobenzyloxy group. These compounds were prepared starting from the commercially available Trolox acid 4, followed by esterification, protection, and reduction to the silyl-protected Trolox aldehyde 7, which was coupled using Wittig chemistry to different omega-hydroxyphosphonium bromides. Reduction of the alkene product, coupling with p-azidotetrafluorobenzyl bromide, and deprotection of the phenolic silyl group gave compounds 2a-d in excellent yields. Chroman-functionalized photoaffinity labels were synthesized starting from the protected tocopherol chromene 16b which was a key intermediate for preparation of a 3-hydroxy derivative, either by reduction of epoxides produced directly with Jacobsen's catalysts or by treatment with NBS in wet DME to give two stereoisomeric bromohydrins which were cyclized and reduced to give the phenol-protected C-3 alcohols 19a,b. These alcohols were then converted to diazoacetate esters, and the protecting group was removed to give 3-diazoacetoxy alpha-tocopherols 3a,b.  相似文献

Rate constants for the reactions of OH radicals and NO3 radicals with dimethyl phosphonate [DMHP, (CH3O)2P(O)H], dimethyl methylphosphonate [DMMP, (CH3O)2P(O)CH3], and dimethyl ethylphosphonate [DMEP, (CH3O)2P(O)C2H5] have been measured at 296 +/- 2 K and atmospheric pressure using relative rate methods. The rate constants obtained for the OH radical reactions (in units of 10(-12) cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1)) were as follows: DMHP, 4.83 +/- 0.25; DMMP, 10.4 +/- 0.6; and DMEP, 17.0 +/- 1.0, with a deuterium isotope effect of k(OH + DMMP)/k(OH + DMMP-d9) = 4.8 +/- 1.2. The rate constants obtained for the NO3 radical reactions (in units of 10(-16) cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1)) were as follows: DMHP, < 1.4; DMMP, 2.0 +/- 1.0; and DMEP, 3.4 +/- 1.4. Upper limits to the rate constants for the O3 reactions of < 8 x 10(-20) cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1) for DMHP and < 6 x 10(-20) cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1) for DMMP and DMEP were determined. Products of the reactions of OH radicals with DMHP, DMMP, and DMEP were investigated in situ using atmospheric pressure ionization mass spectrometry (API-MS) and, for the DMMP and DMEP reactions, Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy. API-MS analyses showed the formation of products of molecular weight 96 and 126, attributed to CH3OP(O)(H)OH and (CH3O)2P(O)OH, respectively, from DMHP; of molecular weight 110, attributed to CH3OP(O)(CH3)OH, from DMMP; and of molecular weight 124 and 126, attributed to CH3OP(O)(C2H5)OH and (CH3O)2P(O)OH, respectively, from DMEP. FT-IR analyses showed formation (values given are % molar yields) of the following: from DMMP, CO, 54 +/- 6; CO2, 5 +/- 1 in dry air; HCHO, 3.9 +/- 0.7; HC(O)OH, < 1.4 in dry air; RONO2, approximately 4; and formate ester, approximately 8; and from DMEP, CO, 50 +/- 7; CO2, 11 +/- 4; CH3CHO, 18 +/- 8; HCHO, < 7; HC(O)OH, < 6; RONO2, < or = 5; and formate ester, 5.0 +/- 1.5. The gas-phase molecular structures of a series of halogen-substituted disilanes [X3SiSiMe3 (X = H, F, Cl and Br)], 1,1,1-trimethyldisilane (H3SiSiMe3), 1,1,1-trifluoro-2,2,2-trimethyldisilane (F3SiSiMe3), 1,1,1-trichloro-2,2,2-trimethyldisilane (Cl3SiSiMe3) and 1,1,1-tribromo-2,2,2-trimethyldisilane (Br3SiSiMe3), have been determined in the gas phase by electron diffraction. Ab initio calculations at the HF and MP2 level were used to support the experimental investigation using the SARACEN method. All of the investigated structures were determined to adopt a staggered structure with C 3v symmetry. The effect of substitution on the Si–Si bond and the Si–Si–X bond angle was investigated and these results were compared to results obtained from a recent study of halogen-substituted disilanes [X3SiSiXMe2 (X = F, Cl, Br and I)] to consider the effect of the methyl groups on the substituted disilanes.  相似文献

The aim of this investigation was to develop receiver and extraction fluids, and subsequently validate an analytical method to quantify the permeation and penetration of flurbiprofen into human pharynx tissue using a Franz diffusion cell. The solubility and stability of flurbiprofen in a suitable receiver fluid, and a suitable extraction method and fluid to recover and quantitate flurbiprofen from human pharynx tissue, were investigated using high‐performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The potential interference of human pharynx tissue in the receiver fluid was also investigated. The HPLC analytical method was successfully validated according to current guidelines. The final receiver fluid demonstrated sufficient solubility and stability, and the extraction method and fluid resulted in >95% recovery of flurbiprofen following exposure to human pharynx tissue. The lower limit of quantitation of flurbiprofen was 0.045 μg/mL in both the receiver and extraction fluids. There was no interference of the human pharynx tissue with the HPLC method. This investigation validated an analytical method for quantitating flurbiprofen, and determined a suitable receiver fluid and extraction method and fluid, which can be used to investigate the permeation and penetration of flurbiprofen through human pharynx tissue using the Franz diffusion cell method.  相似文献
