The acetylation of lagochilin and its derivatives with acetic anhydride in the presence of pyridine has been studied by PMR spectroscopy. It has been shown that the manifestation of the polyfunctionality of lagochilin in acetylation reactions with acetic anhydride is connected with a change in the nature of the process of solvation of the reaction forms with the subsequent replacement of the hydrogen atoms of the hydroxy groups by acetyl groups.V. We have obtained previously unknown 1-methyl- and 1,3-dimethyl-5-diethylaminothiocarbonylthiobarbituric acids by reaction of sodium diethyldithiocarbamate with 5-phenyliodonium betaines of 1-methyl- and 1,3-dimethylbarbituric acids. Cyclization of these compounds upon heating in conc. H2SO4 gives methyl-substituted 5,7-dioxo(4H,6H)-1,3-dithiolo[4,5-d]pyrimidine-2-diethylimmonium hydrosulfates; the derivative of 1-methylbarbituric acid forms a mixture of 4-methyl- and 6-methyl-substituted compounds (21). We isolated perchlorates of 4-methyl- and 4,6-dimethyl-substituted derivatives in pure form. By treatment of the immonium salt with sodium sulfide or selenide, we obtained 4-methyl- and 4,6-dimethyl-5,7-dioxo(4H,6H)-1,3-dithiolo[4,5-d]pyrimidine-2-thiones and 4-methyl-, 6-methyl-, and 4,6-dimethyl-2-selenones. We characterized the isomeric 4- and 6-methyl-substituted selenones by electronic absorption spectra and ionization constants (7.65 and 4.0). The principles and techniques of dynamic light scattering (DLS) are outlined and its application to the study of suspensions of interacting colloidal particles is discussed. We show how, under appropriate conditions, DLS can measure long-time collective and self-diffusion coefficients as well as study short-time motions (characterized by the cumulants). These theoretical considerations are illustrated by experimental data. Finally, we discuss the relevance of certain characteristic timescales to theories of the diffusion of interacting particles. 相似文献

A sensitive spectrophotometric method based on the extraction of a uranium-benzoate-Malachite Green complex by chlorobenzene is described. The absorption maximum is at 635 nm and the molar absorptivity is 8.3 x 10(4) 1 mole(-1), cm(-1). A preliminary separation of uranium by extraction with methyl isobutyl ketone from acid-deficient aluminium nitrate solution is used to avoid interferences. An aliquot of the extract is then diluted with chlorobenzene and shaken with benzoate buffer containing Malachite Green (MG). The method has been applied for the determination of uranium in a synthetic leach solution. The complex extracted is probably [MG(2)(C(6)H(5)COO)(3)][MG(+)]. 相似文献

The construction and characteristics of a new type of extractive electrode sensitive to Hg(2+)(2) are described. The performance of the electrode is compared with that of an ion-selective electrode with mercurous dithizonate as the active substance. The Hg(2+)(2) -extractive electrode contains Pd(HDz)(2) in its membrane. Its stability and sensitivity are remarkable. It has been used as indicator electrode for the titration of halides alone and in mixtures, and for determination of mercury(I), mercury(II), silver, and of substances containing or reacting with mercury. Summary The quantitative determination of quercetin and dihydroquercetin in the total flavonoids ofLatrix dahurica has been effected by the use of thin-layer chromatography on Kapron for separating the mixture with subsequent elution of the spots and colorimetry of the eluates obtained. The methanol-dimethylformamide (1:1) system was used as the eluate.
