The goal of this work is a general assessment regarding the performances of linear and nonlinear dynamic vibration absorbers (DVAs) applied to the specific problem of moving loads or vehicles. The problem consists of a simply supported linear Euler–Bernoulli beam excited with a moving load/vehicle; a DVA is connected to the beam in order to reduce the vibrations. The moving vehicle is modeled by a single degree of freedom mass spring system. The partial differential equations governing the beam dynamics is reduced to a set of ordinary differential equations by means of the Bubnov–Galerkin method. A parametric analysis is carried out to find the optimal parameters of the DVA that minimize the maximum vibration amplitude of the beam. For the case of a moving vehicle, the energy absorbed by the DVA is evaluated. Comparisons among the performances of different types of linear and DVAs are carried out. The goal is to clarify if the use of nonlinearities in the DVAs can effectively improve their performances. The study shows that the most effective type of DVA for the test cases considered is the piecewise linear elastic restoring force.  相似文献

Two coordination polymers, {[Ln(2-stp)(4,4′-bipy)(H2O)].(H2O)}, [Ln = Dy (1) and Eu (2), 2-stp = 2-sulfoterephthalate and 4,4′-bipy = 4,4′-bipyridine] have been characterized by solid state UV-vis, FTIR spectra, X-ray single crystal diffraction and solid state photoluminescence. Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility and isothermal magnetization as function of external magnetic field is also studied for both complexes. After ligand-mediated excitation, both complexes show the characteristic visible and NIR luminescence of the corresponding LnIII ions (Ln = Dy, Eu) which is due to efficient energy transfer from the ligands to the central LnIII ions via an antenna effect. The indirect energy transfer in both complexes has been investigated and discussed in detail.  相似文献

Triclosan is broadly utilized as preservative or antiseptic in various cosmetic and personal care products. It becomes hazardous for environmental safety and human health more than a certain concentration. In this research, graphene oxide (GO) nanosheets were prepared by composing Fe3O4@Au nanostructure decorated GO together with polypyrrole (PPy) (Fe3O4@Au‐PPy/GO nanocomposite) in a facile way. The composite excellent increased the electrochemical response, presenting a high sensitive electrochemical method for triclosan detection. The synthesized Fe3O4@Au‐PPy/GO nanocomposite was characterized for its morphological, magnetically and structural properties by FESEM‐mapping, TEM, and XRD. The Fe3O4@Au‐PPy/GO nanocomposites modified glassy carbon electrodes (GCE), Fe3O4@Au‐PPy/GO GCE, showed a higher sensitivity good stability, reproducibility, lower LOD (2.5×10?9 M) and potential practical application in electrochemical detection of triclosan under optimized experimental conditions.  相似文献

In this study, Seven new complexes incorporating (E)-2-(((5-([2-hydroxyphenoxy]methyl)furan-2-yl)methylene)amino)phenol derived from 2-hydroxyphenoxymethylfuran-5-carbaldehyde and 2-aminophenol have been synthesized using Cu(II), Cr(III), Fe(III), Ni(II), Co(II), Zn(II), and Pt(IV) metal salts. Thermal measurements, molar conductance, magnetic moment, elemental analyses, spectral (IR, UV–Vis, 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), ESR, Mass), were used to characterize insulated solid complexes. The thermogravimetry (TG) and differential thermoanalysis (DTA) of the complexes were carried out in the range of 30–900°C. Magnetic susceptibility and electronic spectral data, as well as quantum chemical calculations, reveal the square planar geometry for Ni (II) complex, square planar/octahedral geometry for Cu (II) complex, while Co(II), Zn(II), Cr(III), Fe(III), and Pt (IV) complexes are octahedral geometry. Density functional theory (DFT) studies revealed that geometries of metal complexes and Schiff base were entirely optimized in relation to use energy by 6–31 + g (d,p) basis set. The complexes show a well-defined crystal system indicated by a powder-X-ray diffraction pattern. The scanning electron microscope showed complexes were nanocrystalline in nature, in addition to the interaction of the complexes with calf thymus CT-DNA, which was investigated via the UV–visible absorption method. Therefore, the DNA cleavage activity by the H2L ligand and its metal complexes was performed. Finally, the synthesized complexes were tested for their in-vitro antimicrobial efficacy.  相似文献

Co-crystallisation is widely explored as a route to improve the physical properties of pharmaceutical active ingredients, but little is known about the fundamental mechanisms of the process. Herein, we apply a hyphenated differential scanning calorimetry—X-ray diffraction technique to mimic the commercial hot melt extrusion process, and explore the heat-induced synthesis of a series of new co-crystals containing isonicotinamide. These comprise a 1:1 co-crystal with 4-hydroxybenzoic acid, 2:1 and 1:2 systems with 4-hydroxyphenylacetic acid and a 1:1 crystal with 3,4-dihydroxyphenylactic acid. The formation of co-crystals during heating is complex mechanistically. In addition to co-crystallisation, conversions between polymorphs of the co-former starting materials and co-crystal products are also observed. A subsequent study exploring the use of inkjet printing and milling to generate co-crystals revealed that the synthetic approach has a major effect on the co-crystal species and polymorphs produced.  相似文献

Blocking the division of tumor cells by small-molecules is currently of great interest for the design of new antitumor drugs. The interaction of a new metal complex with DNA was investigated through several techniques. Absorption spectroscopy and gel electrophoresis studies on the interaction of the Cu-complex of (2a-4mpyH)2 [Cu(pyzdc)2 (H2O)2].6 H2O with DNA have shown that this complex can bind to CT-DNA with binding constant 3.99?×?105 M?1. The cyclic voltammetry (CV) responses of the metal complex in the presence of CT-DNA have shown that the metal complex can bind to CT-DNA through partial intercalation mode and this is consistent with molecular docking analysis, quenching process and thermal denaturation experiments. The cytotoxicity of this complex has been evaluated by MTT assay. The results of cell viability assay on DU145 cell line revealed that the metal complex had cytotoxic effects.  相似文献

The production of new biocidal polyester Schiff base metal complexes [PESB–M(II)] via polycondensation reaction between chelated Schiff base diol and adipoyl chloride is reported. The resulting polyesters were characterized by physico-chemical and spectroscopic methods. The analytical data of all the synthesized polyesters were found to be in good agreement with 1:1 molar ratio of chelated Schiff base diol to adipoyl chloride. Thermogravimetric analyses of synthesized polyesters were studied by TG in nitrogen atmosphere up to 1073 K and results indicate that Cu(II) polyester complex exhibited better heat resistant properties than the other polyesters complexes. Magnetic moment and UV–visible spectra were examined to explain the structure of all the polyesters which reveled that Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II) have octahedral geometry while Cu(II) possess a distorted octahedral geometry. These newly developed polyesters were also tested for their antibacterial activity against several bacteria and fungi. Among all the tested compounds PESB–Cu(II) possess the highest bactericidal and fungicidal activity.  相似文献
