We show that long-range ferroelectric and incommensurate magnetic order appear simultaneously in a single phase transition in Ni3V2O8. The temperature and magnetic-field dependence of the spontaneous polarization show a strong coupling between magnetic and ferroelectric orders. We determine the magnetic symmetry using Landau theory for continuous phase transitions, which shows that the spin structure alone can break spatial inversion symmetry leading to ferroelectric order. This phenomenological theory explains our experimental observation that the spontaneous polarization is restricted to lie along the crystal b axis and predicts that the magnitude should be proportional to a magnetic order parameter.  相似文献

It is known that the lac operon regulatory pathway is capable of showing bistable behavior. This is an important complex feature, arising from the nonlinearity of the involved mechanisms, which is essential to understand the dynamic behavior of this molecular regulatory system. To find which of the mechanisms involved in the regulation of the lac operon is the origin of bistability, we take a previously published model which accounts for the dynamics of mRNA, lactose, allolactose, permease and beta-galactosidase involvement and simplify it by ignoring permease dynamics (assuming a constant permease concentration). To test the behavior of the reduced model, three existing sets of data on beta-galactosidase levels as a function of time are simulated and we obtain a reasonable agreement between the data and the model predictions. The steady states of the reduced model were numerically and analytically analyzed and it was shown that it may indeed display bistability, depending on the extracellular lactose concentration and growth rate.  相似文献

Calixarenes, which have a great place in supramolecular chemistry, have become the most prominent macrocyclic compounds in synthetic organic chemistry due to their easy synthesis and functionalization. In this study, p-tert-butyl calix[4]arene dihydrazide derivative was synthesized and then reacted with 3-oxo-3,4-dihydro-2 H-benzo[b][1,4] thiazin-2-ylideneacetyl chloride to prepare new calixarene based chromophore compound 4. The structure of the synthesized compound was elucidated by spectroscopic methods such as 1H NMR 13C NMR and FT-IR spectroscopy. Chromogenic and fluorescence properties of compound 4 were evaluated. It was observed from both studies that compound 4 was Co2+ selective and shows fluorescence Switched-off behavior. Stoichiometry, binding constant and the detection limit were calculated. The stoichiometry between compound 4 and Co2+ was found to be 1:1. The binding constant value (K) was calculated as 666.67 M??1 using Benesi–Hildebrand equation, while the detection limit for Co2+ ion was calculated as 0.0465 µM.

This study is interested in the effect of lithium carbonate on the formation of hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) by means of the available experimental methods including TGA, XRD, FTIR, SEM and HR‐TEM. hBN samples were synthesized at the 1450 °C with different molar ratios of lithium carbonate by modified O'Connor routine. The crystalline hBN formation tended to improve with the increment of the Li2CO3 concentration level (especially after more 20 %). The dopant quantity decreased the residual stresses due to the presence of possible relaxation mechanisms along with the nanocrystal structure, even favored by XRD experimental findings regarding the enhancement of crystal plane alignments, crystallite sizes and lattice parameters. As for the FTIR surveys, the Li2CO3 foreign impurities strengthened more and more the covalent bonds between boron and nitrogen atoms. At the same time, the samples with 40 % lithium carbonate were annealed at the varied temperatures of 1000, 1150, 1300 and 1450 °C to determine the optimum annealing temperature. The XRD+FTIR investigations indicated that the degree of hexagonality improved with the increased annealing temperature. Similarly, the surface morphology confirmed not only the formation of regularity and flaky hexagonal BN structures, but also the strengthening of covalent bonds between the atoms.  相似文献

The covalent conjugates of cellulase from Aspergillus niger were prepared with various molar ratios by using dextran. The conjugate (nE/nD: 1/5) showed higher activity than purified enzyme at all temperatures after 1 h of incubation and its activity could also be measured at higher temperature. Also, this conjugate lost only 60% activity in 2 h at 70°C in comparison to the purified enzyme, which lost all its activity. In addition, conjugation protected cellulase against denaturation in the presence of sodium dodecylsulfate (residual activity of about 80%) and inactivation by air bubbles (residual activity of about 50% for 4 h).  相似文献

Aniline-mustard and its glucuronide conjugate were radioiodinated with 131I. The preliminary dynamic tests were carried out on rabbits. The scintigrams showed clearly that the glucuronide conjugate of aniline-mustard was very quickly cleared from the metabolism, accumulating in the bladder in about 15 minutes. The clearance time of radioiodinated aniline-mustard-glucuronide was considerably longer (about 45 min.). The results obtained from the biodistributional studies have represented interesting differences between the metabolic details of radioiodinated compounds, and indicated that the glucuronide conjugate of aniline-mustard may be a promising radioiodinated prodrug, if verification of its selective accumulation in some kinds of tumor cells can be obtained.  相似文献

Three novel fully substituted urea derivative cyclotriphosphazene compounds 5–7 were synthesized by alkyne-azide 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction of propargyl substituted ureas 2–4 with hexaazide substituted cyclotriphosphazene 1 in the presence of Cu(I) catalyst. All compounds were characterized with spectroscopic techniques such as FT-IR, 1H, 13C, and 31P nuclear magnetic resonance and mass spectroscopy. Also, the usefulness of compounds 5–7 as anion carriers was investigated by 1H NMR spectroscopy. For this purpose, 1H NMR spectra of compounds 5–7 were recorded in the presence of tetrabutylammonium fluoride in DMSO-d6. It was determined, that the urea protons in the compounds interact with fluoride.  相似文献

In this study, electrochemical degradation of microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) under hot-compressed water was investigated via application of constant voltage on reaction medium. Constant voltage ranges from 2.5 to 8.0 V was applied between anode (Titanium) and cathode (reactor wall). As an electrolyte and proton source 5–25 mM of H2SO4 was used. Reactions were carried out in a specially designed batch reactor (450 mL) made of T316 for 240 min at temperature of 200 °C.MCC decomposition products such as glucose, fructose, furfural, 5-HMF and levulinic acid were detected and quantified by High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). In the absence of electrolyte, applied voltage (2.5 and 4.0 V) decreased the total organic carbon (TOC) yield, in contrast at 8.0 V, TOC yield increased to 13%. Application of 8.0 V in hydrothermal conditions alter MCC decomposition pathway selectively to furfural (15%). Addition of electrolyte (5 mM, H2SO4) and application of 2.5 V potential increased TOC (54%) and changed the decomposition pathway in favor of 5-HMF (30%) and levulinic acid (21%). The structural changes in solid residues of electrochemically reacted MCC was analyzed by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) and found that MCC particles functionalized by carboxylic acid and sulfonated groups by the application of constant voltage to reaction medium. In the presence of electrolyte, under certain voltage (2.5 V), functionalization of solid particles became more obvious in FTIR spectrum results. Therefore, change in the selectivity values of degradation products were conducted with the functionalization of MCC particles due to applied voltage under sub-critical conditions.  相似文献
