Neutron diffraction and magnetic measurements were performed on polycrystalline TbFe0.4Ge2 which crystallizes with the orthorhombic structure of the CeNiSi2-type. Despite the presence of some clear anomalies in the low-temperature magnetic susceptibility, the neutron diffraction experiment did not reveal any long-range magnetic ordering of the Tb magnetic moments down to 1.57 K. 相似文献

medium respectively have been studied in presence of anionic micelles of sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS) at different pH. Oxidation
rate of both the substrates increases up to a certain [SLS] much below the critical micellar concentration (cmc) after which
the rate is retarded. Kinetic data have been used to compute the binding constants of both substrate and oxidant with the

The designs of robust natural polymer based catalysts are important for catalytic systems in the view of industrial purposes and green chemistry. In this study, a new air and moisture stable robust starch‐based Pd(II) catalyst was designed and characterized with different analytical techniques. Catalytic behavior of the prepared robust palladium(II) catalyst was investigated in the Suzuki coupling reactions of aryl iodides, aryl bromides and aryl chlorides with phenyl boronic acid under microwave irradiation using very short reaction time. Sustainability and reusability of the catalyst was also explored under benign conditions. As a result of the catalytic tests, the green catalyst gave excellent biphenyl yields, TONs and TOFs with very low catalyst loading. More importantly, the robust catalyst has showed that it can be reused several times without important loses from its activity in the coupling reactions. The study showed that the robust starch‐based Pd(II) catalyst had more advantages than other catalysts reported in the literature due to its economic, sustainable, thermal durable, environmentally friendly and practice properties. 相似文献

Using indium (III) triflate as a mild Lewis acid catalyst, the Friedel Crafts alkylation of o-hydroxy bisbenzylic alcohols with aromatic/heteroaromatic arenes under solvent free conditions was achieved to give the corresponding unsymmetrical triarylmethanes in high yields (up to 80% yield). Calculation of the different green metrics for the above reaction revealed it to have high atom economy (94–96%), high reaction mass efficiency (66–77%) and high carbon efficiency (70–80%). The Lewis acid was found to be air and moisture tolerant. The protocol was found to be operationally simple and can be carried out in an “open-flask” leaving behind water as the sole by product. Gratifyingly the Lewis acid catalyst could be recycled and reused up to 5 catalytic cycles without compromising much on the yield thus further highlighting the importance of the protocol. 相似文献

Solid solution of Pb1.5Ba0.5BiNbO6 ceramic is explored here to obtain its ferroelectric and optical properties. The polycrystalline sample was prepared by a standard solid state reaction route. Room temperature XRD and FTIR spectra of the compound exhibit an appreciable change in its crystal structure of Pb2BiNbO6 on addition of ‘Ba’ in A site. The surface morphology of the gold-plated sintered pellet sample recorded by SEM exhibits a uniform distribution of small grains with well-defined grain boundaries. Detailed studies on the nature of polarization and variation of dielectric constant, tangent loss with temperature as well as frequency indicate the existence of Ferro-electricity in the sample. Using UV-Vis spectroscopy, the optical band gap of the studied sample has been estimated as 2.1 eV, which is useful for photo catalytic devices. Photoluminescence analysis of the powder sample shows a strong red photoluminescence with blue excitation, which is basically useful for LED. 相似文献

C−C linked glutarimide-containing structures with direct utility in the preparation of cereblon-based degraders (PROTACs, CELMoDs) can be assessed in a single step from inexpensive, commercial α-bromoglutarimide through a unique Brønsted-acid assisted Ni-electrocatalytic approach. The reaction tolerates a broad array of functional groups that are historically problematic and can be applied to the simplified synthesis of dozens of known compounds that have only been procured through laborious, wasteful, multi-step sequences. The reaction is scalable in both batch and flow and features a trivial procedure wherein the most time-consuming aspect of reaction setup is weighing out the starting materials. 相似文献
