A series of chiral macrocyclic Cr(III) salen complexes 1-8 were synthesized and characterized. These complexes were found to be highly active, regio-, diastereo-, and enantioselective catalysts in aminolytic kinetic resolution (AKR) of racemic trans-epoxides as well as asymmetric ring opening (ARO) of prochiral meso-epoxides with various anilines as nucleophiles at room temperature in 18-24 h. Excellent yields (>99% with respect to the nucleophile) with high enantioselectivity (ee, >99%) of chiral anti-β-amino alcohols was achieved with concomitant recovery of corresponding epoxides in high ee (up to >99%). The complex 1 also catalyzed the ARO of meso-epoxides to provide corresponding syn-β-amino alcohols in high yield (99%) and ee (up to 91%). Due to built-in basic sites in the catalyst, no external base (as an additive) was required to promote AKR and ARO reactions. The catalyst 1 was conveniently recycled several times with retention of its performance. The AKR of trans-stilbene oxide with aniline was successfully demonstrated at relatively higher scale (10 mmol) using the catalyst 1.  相似文献

A convenient and inexpensive one step methodology has been developed for the synthesis of linear and angular fused quinazolinones. The protocol, which uses amino heterocycles and o-bromo benzyl/naphthyl bromides as reactants, CuI as catalyst, Cs2CO3 as base, l-proline as ligand, and DMF as solvent, proceeds via nucleophilic aromatic substitution of the N-heteroaromatic cationic intermediate followed by in situ aerial oxidation at the benzylic position to the quinazolinone scaffold.  相似文献

A group of DPP-4 inhibitors such as alogliptin, linagliptin and saxagliptin were selected for enantioseparation for this study. Crown ether columns contain a chiral crown ether ring as a chiral selector is suitable for the compounds having primary amino groups. Since the selected compounds contain free amino groups, a crown ether column was selected for enantiomeric separation of dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitors. Dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitors are a class of oral hypoglycemics that block dipeptidyl peptidase-4 enzyme and can be used to treat diabetes mellitus type 2. A sensitive HPLC method was developed to separate the enantiomers of each dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitor. Effects of various parameters such as type of solvents, selection of additives, effect of pH and column temperature on chromatographic results were studied. The optimal conditions for the chiral separation of dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitors without any derivatization were investigated.  相似文献

Beneficiation of low-grade iron ore was carried out by selective flocculation process using different flocculants, namely starch amylopectin (AP) and grafted copolymer of amylopectin (GAP). The iron ore used in the investigation contained 56.98% Fe, 5.45% Al2O3, and 4.22% SiO2. Flocculant dosage, number of floc washing, and pH were considered as variable parameters to analyze their effect on the performance of grade and recovery of concentrate. A flocculant dosage of 0.4?mg/g was found to be the optimum condition for the sample and variable parameters under investigation. The investigation indicated that a grade of 64.77% Fe can be obtained with 96% recovery using AP; however, GAP showed the better result for Fe grade (67%) with a recovery of 97%.  相似文献

IR and spectra of the L-ascorbic acid (L-AA) also known as vitamin C have been recorded in the region 4000-50 cm(-1). In order to make vibrational assignments of the observed IR and Raman bands computations were carried out by employing the RHF and DFT methods to calculate the molecular geometries and harmonic vibrational frequencies along with other related parameters for the neutral L-AA and its singly charged anionic (L-AA(-)) and cationic (L-AA(+)) species. Significant changes have been found for different characteristics of a number of vibrational modes. The four ν(O-H) modes of the L-AA molecule are found in the order ν(O(9)-H(10))>ν(O(19)-H(20))>ν(O(7)-H(8))>ν(O(14)-H(15)) which could be due to complexity of hydrogen bonding in the lactone ring and the side chain. The CO stretching wavenumber (ν(46)) decreases by 151 cm(-1) in going from the neutral to the anionic species whereas it increases by 151 cm(-1) in going from the anionic to the cationic species. The anionic radicals have less kinetic stabilities and high chemical reactivity as compared to the neutral molecule. It is found that the cationic radical of L-AA is kinetically least stable and chemically most reactive as compared to its neutral and anionic species.  相似文献

A new chromogenic protocol has been developed for rapid and selective detection of nerve agents like tabun. The chemsensor displayed a drastic color change from its colorless solution to yellow instantaneously with an 89 nm bathochromic shift. No inference of other chemical warfare agents and its mimics was observed either with the naked-eye or by UV-Vis spectroscopy. The development of a portable chemosensor kit for tabun demonstrates its practical application in real-time monitoring.  相似文献

The development of an innovative method to access enantiopure 2,4-disubstituted 6-hydroxy-1,6-dihydro-2H-pyridin-3-ones starting from D-glucal via the aza-Achmatowicz transformation has been described. These highly functionalized pyridin-3-ones have been utilized for the synthesis of contiguously substituted pyridines through a rapid and efficient Et(3)N/Ac(2)O promoted cyclo-elimination, aromatization cascade, allowing the facile assembly of important pyridine-based building blocks like 2-substituted 3-acetoxy-4-iodopyridines and enantiopure 2-substituted 3-acetoxy-4-pyridinemethanols possessing benzylic stereogenic centers, whose synthesis otherwise would be tedious. The utilization of commercially available sugars as starting materials, mild reaction conditions, catalytic transfer hydrogen (CTH) of α-furfuryl azide derivatives, transfer of chiral aryl/alkyl methanols from enulosides to pyridin-3-ones and pyridines, high yields, and short reaction times are key features of this method. The utility of the method has been further exemplified by demonstrating the usage of the 2-substituted 3-acetoxy-4-iodopyridine for the construction of biologically significant molecules like 2,7-disubstituted furo[2,3-c]pyridines and 7,7'-disubstituted 2,2'-bifuro[2,3-c]pyridines.  相似文献

In the presence of NBS and a catalytic amount of a Lewis acid, 2,3-unsaturated allyl glycosides [6-(allyloxy)-3,6-dihydro-2-(hydroxymethyl)-2H-pyran-3-ol] have been successfully used as versatile glycosyl donors for the stereoselective α-glycosylation of a variety of alcohols comprising sensitive functions such as acetonide, keto, nitro, and ester in 50-90% yields. The methodology offers an equally facile alternative to 4-pentenyl replacement in unsaturated sugars.  相似文献

DNA fibers were prepared by solution spinning of DNA in a lysozyme (LSZ) coagulation/gelation bath. Strong positive charges carried by LSZ protein condensed the DNA (strong negative charged) molecules resulting in self‐assembly and the formation of fibrillar structures in a gel‐like network. DNA/LSZ fibril formation was found to be dependent on the ratio of DNA to LSZ. A minimum 0.1 wt.‐% of LSZ was necessary to condense 0.1 wt.‐% of DNA into micro‐fibrils. Macroscopic fiber spinning was possible by introducing a 0.1 wt.‐% DNA aqueous solution into a 0.2 wt.‐% LSZ coagulation bath which resulted in fibers with ≈20 µm diameter. Single‐walled carbon nanotubes (SWNT) were also incorporated into these fibers to explore the possibility for creating hybrid materials. All DNA‐based fibers exhibit strong birefringence confirming molecular orientation along the fiber axis. Due to the presence of LSZ, the fibers exhibit antimicrobial activity against bacteria like Micrococcus lysodeikticus.
