Magnetic nanoparticles of NiFe2O4-Pd composites have been synthesized using a simple, low cost, sol-gel auto-combustion method. As-prepared samples were sintered at 800 ℃ for 6 h in order to develop the crystalline phase. X-ray diffraction confirmed the spinel structure of the ferrite samples. Structural morphology and size of the nanoparticles were evaluated using a field emission scanning electron microscope. Magnetic hysteresis loops were obtained at 300 and 100 K using a physical properties measurement system. The value of saturation magnetization was observed to decrease at the temperatures with the increase of Pd contents up to 5% but then a sudden rise in saturation magnetization was observed for the addition of 10% Pd in NiFe2O4. 相似文献

Summary The stability constants of ternary CoII, NiII, CuII, ZnII and CdII complexes containing pyridoxamine as a first and ethylenediamine as a second ligand were determined by pH titration at I =0.50M NaNO3 and 30 °C. Most of the complexes are protonated, probably on the pyridoxamine moiety. The formation of the ternary complex species is discussed in terms of binary species formation. A novel electrochemical approach for direct recognition of antibiotic phenazine‐1‐carboxylic acid (PCA) was developed. PCA was electropolymerized on preanodized screen‐printed carbon electrode (SPCE*‐PCA) through repetitive cyclic voltammetry and characterized by XPS and FESEM. Electron transfer involved intermediate phenomenon of diffusion‐controlled redox process and surface bound redox reaction. At pH 8 (optimum), SPCE*‐PCA had a detection limit of 0.51±0.04 μM, a quantification limit of 1.7±0.13 μM, linearity of up to 50 µM, a repeatability of 15.5 % and a reproducibility of 1.7 %. This article looks into the unsteady rotating magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow of an incompressible second grade fluid in a porous half space. The flow is induced by a suddenly moved plate in its own plane. Both the fluid and plate rotate in unison with the same angular velocity. Analytic solution of the governing flow problem is obtained by using Fourier sine transform. Based on the modified Darcy's law, expression for velocity is obtained. The influence of pertinent parameters on the flow is delineated and appropriate conclusions are drawn. Several existing solutions of Newtonian fluid have been also deduced as limiting cases. 相似文献

Cooperative dual site activation of boranes by redox-active 1,3-N,S-chelated ruthenium species, mer-[PR3{κ2-N,S-(L)}2Ru{κ1-S-(L)}], (mer-2a: R = Cy, mer-2b: R = Ph; L = NC7H4S2), generated from the aerial oxidation of borate complexes, [PR3{κ2-N,S-(L)}Ru{κ3-H,S,S′-BH2(L)2}] (trans–mer-1a: R = Cy, trans–mer-1b: R = Ph; L = NC7H4S2), has been investigated. Utilizing the rich electronic behaviour of these 1,3-N,S-chelated ruthenium species, we have established that a combination of redox-active ligands and metal–ligand cooperativity has a big influence on the multisite borane activation. For example, treatment of mer-2a–b with BH3·THF led to the isolation of fac-[PR3Ru{κ3-H,S,S′-(NH2BSBH2N)(S2C7H4)2}] (fac-3a: R = Cy and fac-3b: R = Ph) that captured boranes at both sites of the κ2-N,S-chelated ruthenacycles. The core structure of fac-3a and fac-3b consists of two five-membered ruthenacycles [RuBNCS] which are fused by one butterfly moiety [RuB2S]. Analogous fac-3c, [PPh3Ru{κ3-H,S,S′-(NH2BSBH2N)(SC5H4)2}], can also be synthesized from the reaction of BH3·THF with [PPh3{κ2-N,S-(SNC5H4)}{κ3-H,S,S′-BH2(SNH4C5)2}Ru], cis–fac-1c. In stark contrast, when mer-2b was treated with BH2Mes (Mes = 2,4,6-trimethyl phenyl) it led to the formation of trans- and cis-bis(dihydroborate) complexes [{κ3-S,H,H-(NH2BMes)Ru(S2C7H4)}2], (trans-4 and cis-4). Both the complexes have two five-membered [Ru–(H)2–B–NCS] ruthenacycles with κ2-H–H coordination modes. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations suggest that the activation of boranes across the dual Ru–N site is more facile than the Ru–S one.Redox-active ruthenium complexes supported by hemilabile κ2-N,S-chelated ruthenacycles undergo unusual dual site B–H bond activation through metal–ligand cooperation with free and bulky boranes. 相似文献

Coronopus didymus (Brassicaceae) commonly known as lesser swine cress has been reported to be used for its pharmacological activities. This study aimed to evaluate the medicinal potential of C. didymus extracts against cancer, diabetes, infectious bacteria and oxidative stress and the identification of bioactive compounds present in these extracts. The effects of using different solvents for the extraction of C. didymus on the contents of major polyphenols and biological activities were investigated. Plant sample was shade dried, ground to a fine powder, and then soaked in pure acetone, ethanol and methanol. The highest contents of major polyphenols were found in methanol-based extract, i.e., chlorogenic acid, HB acid, kaempferol, ferulic acid, quercetin and benzoic acid with 305.02, 12.42, 11.5, 23.33, 975.7 and 428 mg/g of dry weight, respectively, followed by ethanol- and acetone-based extracts. The methanol-based extract also resulted in the highest antioxidant activities (56.76%), whereas the highest antiproliferative (76.36) and alpha glucosidase inhabitation (96.65) were demonstrated in ethanol-based extracts. No antibacterial property of C. didymus was observed against all the tested strains of bacteria. Further studies should be focused on the identification of specific bioactive compounds responsible for pharmacological activities. 相似文献

This paper deals with the magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow of an Oldroyd 8-constant fluid in a porous medium when no-slip condition is no longer valid. Modified Darcy's law is used in the flow modelling. The non-linear differential equation with non-linear boundary conditions is solved numerically using finite difference scheme in combination with an iterative technique. Numerical results are obtained for the Couette, Poiseuille and generalized Couette flows. The effects of slip parameters on the velocity profile are discussed. 相似文献
