相对论性核碰撞中φ介子增强

用强子和弦级联模型LUCIAE系统地研究了相对论性p+p和Pb+Pb碰撞中φ介子产生.在模型框架内实验测得的158AGeV/cPb+Pb碰撞中φ介子产额相对于同能量p+p碰撞的增强现象,依赖于弦发射胶子的集体效应和奇异夸克压低约化两机制,在一定程度内能得到解释.     

Emergence of local realism in fuzzy observations of correlated quantum systems

A pair of spin-j particles, prepared in a singlet state, move away from each other and are examined by two distant observers. If the latter are able to discriminate between the2j+1 values of a component ofJ, there are pairs of observables whose correlation strongly violates Bell's inequality, for arbitrarily large j. However, if neighboring values are lumped together because of limited instrumental resolution, the observable correlations tend to those predicted by classical mechanics.Dedicated to Professor Henry Margenau, on the occasion of his 90th birthday.     

A two model receptor system of the alpha1D adrenergic receptor to describe interactions with epinephrine and BMY7378

In this study, we have developed a two receptor model system to describe the R and R states of G-protein coupled receptors, specifically the alpha(1D) adrenergic receptor. The two models interact with agonist (epinephrine) and antagonist (BMY7378) differently. The active model has increased interactions with epinephrine. The inactive model has increased interactions with BMY7378. We also explored the protonation state of the ligands. When the most basic amine was protonated, we found increased hydrogen bonding and increased aromatic interactions. Protonated epinephrine hydrogen bonds with Asp176 and has aromatic residues Trp172, Trp235, Trp361, and Phe388 within 3 Angstroms. Protonated BMY7378 hydrogen bonds with Trp172 and Lys236 and has aromatic residues Trp172, Trp254, Phe364, Phe384, and Phe388 within 3 Angstroms. We conclude that the two model system is required to represent the two states of the receptor and that protonation of the ligand is also critical.     

Applications of asymmetric hydrosilylations mediated by catalytic (DTBM-SEGPHOS)CuH

[reaction: see text] Several aryl ketone precursors useful in the synthesis of known physiologically active compounds have been reduced to the corresponding nonracemic alcohols. The previously reported combination of a catalytic quantity of (R)-(-)-DTBM-SEGPHOS-ligated CuH and stoichiometric PMHS is shown to be very effective in these asymmetric hydrosilylations.     

Slow motion lineshapes

A slow motion expansion about the characteristic features of the powder spectrum is presented. Analytic expressions for the lineshape function, modulated by slow rotational diffusion, are derived. It is shown that the slow motion limit is characterized by harmonic oscillator equations of motion, and the resulting spectrum is determined by harmonic oscillator eigenvalues. The essential features of the lineshape show up naturally, and in particular the axial lineshape diverges like τ^1/4 while there is only a weak motional correction to the logarithmic divergence of the non-axial lineshape. The dynamic frequency shifts converge to their static limits like τ^-1/2 for all cases.     

Exceptional collections of line bundles on projective homogeneous varieties

We construct new examples of exceptional collections of line bundles on the variety of Borel subgroups of a split semisimple linear algebraic group G$G$ of rank 2 over a field. We exhibit exceptional collections of the expected length for types _A2$A_2$ and _B2=_C2$B_2=C_2$ and prove that no such collection exists for type _G2$G_2$. This settles the question of the existence of full exceptional collections of line bundles on projective homogeneous G$G$-varieties for split linear algebraic groups G$G$ of rank at most 2.     

Correlation of Moments and Critical Phenomenon in Disassembly of Hot Nuclei

We used Monte Carlo method to generate the configurations of disassembly of hot nucleus Au* based on the Atomic Mass Table and the conservation of mass and charge number.The resulted charge distribution of fragments was then used to calculate the conditional moments.The logarithm correlation between second and third moments of experimental charge distribution is very well reproduced by theory.It seems that no connection to the critical phenomenon of concerned system exists.     

THE EFFECT OF THE FREEZE-OUT VOLUME IN THE MULTIFRAGMENTATION OF VERY HOT NUCLEAR REMNANT

In this paper a simplified method for the calculation of average Coulomb energy in statistical model of the disassembly processes of hot nuclei is proposed.The effect of freeze-out volume is studied based on the assumption of Gaussion-like distribution.It is indecated that the centre and dispersion of Gaussion-like distribution somewhat reflect the location and the renge of liquid-gas coexistence phase.     

200A GeV S+Au反应中光子产生的低横动量增强

用建立在LUND弦模型特别是PYTHIA事件产生器基础上的描写极端相对论性核-核碰撞的强子和弦级联模型--JPCIAE研究了入射能量为200A GeV的S+Au中心碰撞中光子产生.模型同时考虑了部分子QCD散射过程、强子末态相互作用以及强子衰变等光子产生反应道并作了协调处理.JPCIAE模型计算结果很好再现了WA93实验数据所呈现的低横动量增强效应.
