Treatment of polluted soil is one of the priorities in the search of a more sustainable planet. Electrochemically assisted soil remediation has been considered a good option for removing organic contaminants contained in soil, including the removal of volatile organic compounds, associated with gaseous streams produced during the treatment. Also, recently, electrochemical gas treatment technologies have been appointed as promising for the treatment of volatile organic compounds. In this work, we review the current opinion about the most recent studies in both areas. The first section focuses on the production of gaseous compounds during soil remediation by conventional and electrochemical systems. The second section describes the recent progress in the integration of adsorption and absorption with electrochemical processes. Finally, we discuss the holistic application of assisted electrochemical technologies in soil remediation, considering also emerging processes recently published in the literature. 相似文献

The first study of photooxidation reaction of 6β-acetoxyvouacapane isolated from Caesalpinia platyloba is reported. The reaction yielded four new epoxy lactones, 6β-acetoxy-15,16α-epoxy-13-spirocassa-12,16-olide, 6β-acetoxy-15,16β-epoxy-13-spirocassa-12,16-olide, 6β-acetoxy-12,13β-epoxycassa-16,12-olide and 6β-acetoxy-12,13α-epoxycassa-16,12-olide. Adsorption processes of Cu(II), Co(II), and Hg(II) on two aminated silica gel surfaces with immobilized ethylenediamine and diethylenediamine groups were studied by a new 2(3) full factorial design. Two metal quantity levels, temperatures of 25 and 50 degrees C, and silica amounts of 100 and 200 mg were employed. Our study indicates that higher factorial design levels increase adsorption for all metals evaluated, with the exception of the mass parameter. Adsorption is also significantly affected by important antagonistic and synergistic effects involving all factors. Both functionalized silica gel surfaces present higher interactions and good perspectives in preconcentration studies for mercury. Triazole fungicides are pesticides widely employed in the cultivation of fruits, vegetables and grains. However, their ability to change the steroid hormone biosynthesis may result in endocrine complications for mammals, as well as changes in cholesterol and triglyceride levels and hepatotoxicity. The analysis of the triazole fungicides in superficial waters is important in order to monitor the risk for the biota. However, the use of efficient extraction procedures has been necessary in order to concentrate these pesticides before the analysis. In-disk solid-phase extraction (SPE) can be highlighted as a potential pre-concentration technique, mainly because the possibility to extract the analytes from a large sample volume, increasing the method detectability. Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have been often used as solid extraction phase due to their high sorption capacity, surface area and internal volume, as well as mechanical, chemical and thermal stability. In this paper, we proposed the preparation of a new SPE disk impregnated with CNTs for the extraction of triazole fungicides from environmental water samples. The disks were obtained by acid corrosion of a cellulose membrane followed by its impregnation with CNTs. The developed method was validated for the analysis of triadimenol, tebuconazole and epoxiconazole, according to international validation protocols. The limits of quantification obtained for triadimenol, tebuconazole and epoxiconazole were 0.1, 0.1 and 0.05 µg L?1, respectively. The linearity ranged from 0.05 to 10.00 µg L?1 for epoxiconazole and from 0.1 to 10.00 µg L?1 for triadimenol and tebuconazole, with correlation coefficients higher than 0.999 for all of them. The precisions, expressed as relative standard deviation, were lower than 12%. The accuracies were within ?12.07% to 17.7% (expressed as relative error). 相似文献

New phosphorylating reagents 1 and 2 were prepared in three steps from 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde. They showed good efficiency in the solid phase synthesis of 5′-phosphate monoester nucleosides. End-phosphate DNA sequence synthesis demonstrated the efficiency of the new reagents (1 and 2) according to the general procedure of automated DNA synthesis. The oxidation of P(III) to P(V) and the removal of benzyl protecting groups were achieved in a single step by treatment with a 0.02 M I2/pyridine/H2O solution. Due to this one-pot treatment, it is possible to use the phosphorylating reagents (1 and 2) for the synthesis of base-sensitive ODNs. This study reports a simple and rapid method for the determination of the antioxidant activity of the phenolics present in plants of the Hibiscus genus. The protocol is based on the ability of the phenolic compounds to inhibit luminol chemiluminescence through the inactivation of free radicals in a flow injection system. Using the optimized operational conditions, the antioxidant activities of several phenolics were measured. The results were explained on the basis of structure–reactivity relationships. The antioxidant activities of dried flowers of Hibiscus rosa-sinensis and Hibiscus sabdariffa were evaluated. The protocol was validated by the 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl-hydrate free radical assay. The differences in the antiradical activities were explained based on the concentrations of total polyphenol and flavonoid concentrations determined by spectrophotometric methods. It was concluded that the chemiluminescence method was complementary for the evaluation of hydrophilic antioxidants in plants. 相似文献

The isocyanide complexes trans-[ReCl(CNR)(dppe)2] (R Me, But, C6H4CH3-4, C6H4CH3-2, C6H4Cl-4, C6H4OCH3-4 and C6H3Cl2-2,6; dppe Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2) have been prepared by isocyanide displacement of dinitrogen from the parent complex trans-[ReCl(N2)(ddpe)2]. Their redox properties have been studied by cyclic voltammetry and are interpreted on the basis of the electronic properties and the geometry of the ligating isocyanides which are believed to be bent in these complexes, appearing to exhibit ligand parameter (PL) values ca. +0.3 V higher than those which would be expected for linear geometry.
