We prove some criteria for uniform hyperbolicity based on the periodic points of the transformation. More precisely, if a mild hyperbolicity condition holds for the periodic points of any diffeomorphism in a residual subset of a C 1-open set U then there exists an open and dense subset A ? U of Axiom A diffeomorphisms. Moreover, we also prove a noninvertible version of Ergodic Closing Lemma which we use to prove a counterpart of this result for local diffeomorphisms.  相似文献

A Bose–Einstein condensation (BEC) has been observed in magnetic insulators in the last decade. The condensed bosons are magnons associated with an ordered magnetic phase induced by a magnetic field. We review the experiments in the spin-gap compound NiCl2-4SC(NH2)2, in which the formation of BEC occurs by applying a magnetic field at low temperatures. This is a contribution to the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Solid State and Low Temperature Laboratory of the University of S?o Paulo, where this compound was first magnetically characterized.  相似文献

With anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) membranes as wetting templates, nanotubes of the cylinder‐forming polystyrene‐block‐poly(ethylene oxide) (PS‐b‐PEO) copolymer were generated. The PS‐b‐PEO solution was introduced into the cylindrical nanopores of an AAO membrane by capillary force and polymeric nanotubes formed after solvent evaporation. Because of the water solubility of the cylindrical PEO microdomains and the orientation of the cylindrical PEO microdomains with respect to the nanotube walls, the nanotubes were permeable to aqueous media. PS‐b‐PEO nanotubes were also prepared on the interior walls of amorphous carbon nanotubes (a‐CNTs). Because of the unique water permeability of the PEO microdomains, an avenue for functionalizing the interior of the a‐CNTs is enabled. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Micelle to solvent stacking (MSS) is a new on-line sample concentration technique for charged analytes in capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE). Sample concentration in MSS mainly relies on the reversal in the effective electrophoretic mobility of the analyte at the boundary zone between the sample solution (S) and CZE background solution (BGS) inside the capillary. The basic condition for MSS is that the S is prepared in a matrix that contains an additive (i.e., micelles) which interacts with and has an opposite charge compared to the analytes. In addition, the BGS must contain a sufficient percentage of organic solvent. MSS was first reported for organic cations using anionic dodecyl sulfate micelles as additive in the S and methanol or acetonitrile as organic solvent in the BGS. Here, theoretical and experimental studies on MSS are described for organic anions using cationic cetyltrimethyl ammonium micelles as additive in the S and methanol as organic solvent in the BGS. Up to an order of magnitude improvement in concentration sensitivity was obtained for the test hypolipidaemic drugs using MSS in CZE with UV detection. The optimized method was also evaluated to the analysis of a spiked wastewater sample that was subjected to a simple extraction step.  相似文献

Rainwater is a very low concentrated matrix and, for dissolved organic matter (DOM) characterization, an efficient extraction procedure is essential. Isolation procedures based on the adsorption onto XAD-8 and C-18 sorbents have been used in the literature for rainwater DOM isolation, but a comparison between these procedures is lacking. In this work, UV-visible and molecular fluorescence spectroscopies highlighted differences between rainwater DOM isolated by DAX-8 (replacement for XAD-8) and by C-18. It was possible to recover higher rainwater DOM percentage by the C-18 based procedure than by the DAX-8 one. Rainwater protein-like compounds were better concentrated by the C-18 procedure than by the DAX-8 one, while humic-like compounds were similarly concentrated by both procedures. Furthermore, rainwater DOM extracted by the C-18 procedure was more representative of the global matrix, while DAX-8 preferentially extracted humic-like compounds.  相似文献

[2+3] Cycloadditions! The metal‐mediated [2+3] cycloaddition of acyclic [?O+N(R2)?(H)R3] and nonaromatic cyclic nitrones [?O+Na?CHCH2CH2CbMe2(Na? Cb)] to palladium‐bound isonitriles cis‐[PdCl2(C?NR)2] proceeds under mild conditions to furnish novel heterocyclic carbene complexes, which then undergo N? O bond rupture to give imino complexes and free isocyanates (see scheme).

A simple system is described, which oxidizes saturated hydrocarbons either in acetonitrile or (less efficiently) in water. The system consists of 50% aqueous hydrogen peroxide as an oxidant, sodium metavanadate, NaVO3, as a catalyst and sulfuric (or oxalic) acid as a co-catalyst. The reactions were carried out at 20-50 °C. In the oxidation of cyclohexane in acetonitrile, the highest yield (37% based on cyclohexane) and turnover number (TON=1700) were attained after 3 h at 50 °C. The corresponding parameters were 16% and 1090 for n-heptane oxidation under the same conditions. The oxidation of higher alkanes, RH, in acetonitrile gives almost exclusively the corresponding alkyl hydroperoxides, ROOH. Light alkanes (n-butane, propane, ethane, and methane) have been also oxygenated by the system under consideration. The highest TON (200) was attained for ethane and the highest yield (19%) was obtained in the case of n-butane. The selectivity parameters measured for the oxidation of linear and branched alkanes are low, the reaction with cis- and trans-1,2-dimethylcyclohexanes is not stereoselective. These facts lead us to conclude that the oxidation occurs with the formation of hydroxyl radicals in the crucial step.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to develop an Information Extension Model (IEM) which uses location data of bus fleets (AVL data) to estimate road traffic conditions and provide input for implementing control strategies. The IEM consists of three sub-models: the Link Traffic Condition Model (LTCM), the AVL Adaptation Model (AVLAM) and the Network Traffic Condition Model (NTCM). The first provides road traffic conditions as a function of mass-transit traffic conditions in the case of shared lanes, the second provides mass-transit traffic conditions as a function of AVL data, and the last provides road traffic conditions over the whole road network as a function of mass-transit traffic conditions.  相似文献
