The use of iminophosphoryl-tethered ruthenium carbene complexes to activate secondary phosphine P−H bonds is reported. Complexes of type [(p-cymene)-RuC(SO2Ph)(PPh2NR)] (with R = SiMe3 or 4-C6H4−NO2) were found to exhibit different reactivities depending on the electronics of the applied phosphine and the substituent at the iminophosphoryl moiety. Hence, the electron-rich silyl-substituted complex undergoes cyclometallation or shift of the imine moiety after cooperative activation of the P−H bond across the M=C linkage, depending on the electronics of the applied phosphine. Deuteration experiments and computational studies proved that cyclometallation is initiated by the activation process at the M=C bond and triggered by the high electron density at the metal in the phosphido intermediates. Consistently, replacement of the trimethylsilyl (TMS) group by the electron-withdrawing 4-nitrophenyl substituent allowed the selective cooperative P−H activation to form stable activation products.  相似文献

The development of organic photoluminescent materials, which show promising roles as catalysts, sensors, organic light-emitting diodes, logic gates, etc., is a major demand and challenge for the global scientific community. In this context, a photoclick polymerization method is adopted for the growth of a unique photoluminescent three-dimensional (3D) polymer film, E, as a model system that shows emission tunability over the range 350–650 nm against the excitation range 295–425 nm. The DFT analysis of energy calculations and π-stacking supports the spectroscopic observations for the material exhibiting a broad range of emission owing to newly formed chromophoric units within the film. Full polarization spectroscopic Mueller matrix studies were employed to extract and quantify the molecular orientational order of both the ground (excitation) and excited (emission) state anisotropies through a set of newly defined parameters, namely the fluorescence diattenuation and fluorescence polarizance. The information contained in the recorded fluorescence Mueller matrix of the organic polymer material provided a useful way to control the spectral intensity of emission by using pre- and post-selection of polarization states. The observation was based on the assumption that the longer lifetime of the excited dipolar orientation is attributed to the compactness of the film.  相似文献

A zinc containing metal–organic gel (Zn-MOG) with embedded free ions, which exhibits self-healing properties, has been synthesized for application in supercapacitors. The activated carbon-based flexible supercapacitor device with the MOG electrolyte has a broad potential window of 2.1 V, with high retention of specific capacitance compared to the traditional polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)-based gel. The Zn-MOG does not require an additional electrolyte. The sodium and sulphate ions embedded in the MOG are sufficient enough for the charge storage.  相似文献

We report on the synthesis of polypeptides with saccharide side chains starting from d ‐glucosaminic acid. The hydroxyl groups were first protected by benzylation, followed by N‐carboxyanhydride formation, which was polymerized by ring opening to form a high molecular weight polyamide. De‐protection of the benzyl groups yields a polypeptide with fully de‐protected saccharide side chains. The resulting new non‐ionic, water soluble, and optically active polymers possessing the properties of both peptides and saccharides have potential use as scaffolds for tissue engineering and drug carriers. The kinetics of the substitution reactions of [Pt(dach)(H2O)2]2+ and [Pt(en)(H2O)2]2+ (where ‘dach’ and ‘en’ are cis-1,2-diaminocyclohexane and ethylenediamine, respectively) with excess N,N′-diethylthiourea have been studied in aqueous solution by UV–Vis spectrophotometry. The effect of different N–N spectator ligands on the reactivity of platinum(II) complexes was investigated by studying the water lability of the reactant complexes. The kinetic study has been substantiated by product isolation, IR, NMR and ESI-MS spectral analysis and DFT calculations. The reactions follow normal square-planar substitution mainly in an associative way. Rate parameters have been evaluated under different conditions. The substitution rates of the complexes studied can be tuned through the nature of the N–N chelates, which is important in the development of new active compounds for cancer therapy.  相似文献

A systematic study was carried out to understand the effect of structural modification of Cnmim+ moiety of CnmimBr (n = 6, 8 or 10) on the electrochemical behavior of uranium. The cyclic voltammetric study of the above room-temperature ionic liquids (RTIL) media revealed that with increase in the chain length the electrochemical window extended more towards the negative potential. This resulted in the possibility of conversion of U(VI) to U(III) or even possibly to, U metal via U(IV) (as UO2) when n ≥ 10. The diffusion coefficient of U(VI) was found to decrease from n = 6 to 8 to 10 due to the increasing order of viscosity of the RTIL. As a consequence, the activation energy was found to follow reverse order i.e. E act(C6mimBr) < E act(C8mimBr) < E act(C10mimBr). The conversion of UO2 2+ to UO2 was found to be quasi reversible and also exothermic while the entropy was found to decrease due to the reduction reaction. An UV–Vis spectroscopic study was also carried out to understand the local environment around uranium in aqueous and RTIL media. Among several cationic and anionic species, the predominance of UO2Cl4 2? in 7 M HCl with D4h coordination symmetry was observed. The decrease in symmetric stretching frequency of UO2 2+ in RTILs in comparison with aqueous system indicates that the bond strength of UO2 2+ in aqueous is less than that of UO2 2+ in RTILs.  相似文献

On the growing awareness of the environmental impact associated with the use of volatile organic diluents, room temperature ionic liquid gained world-wild acceptance as environmentally benign diluents for actinide partitioning. The observed unusual behavior of less extraction efficiency of Eu with TODGA in RTIL in comparison with that of Am-TODGA was addressed in this paper. The stoichiometry of Am-TODGA complex was found to be 1:2 while that of Eu-TODGA was 1:1. More the ligand molecules associated in the metal ligand complex, the organophilicity of the complex will be more and the solubility of the metal–ligand complex in RTIL will be more which reflects in the higher distribution ratio for Am. In RTIL both Am and Eu showed slower kinetics of extraction with TODGA which can be attributed to the high viscosity coefficient of RTIL compared to the molecular diluents. The observed slower kinetics of extraction was quantified and found to follow first order kinetics with the rate constant of 5.5 × 10?4 s?1. The formation constant of Am-TODGA complex was found to be more (4.18 × 108 M?1) than Eu-TODGA complex (3.31 × 108 M?1) in RTIL. The parameters viz. diffusion coefficient, activation energy for Eu(III)/Eu(II) were determined and found to be 3.08 × 10?8/cm2 s?1 (at 303 K) and 39.34 kJ mol?1 respectively. The thermodynamic parameters ΔG, ΔH and ΔS for the reaction were evaluated using the linear regression of the plot of E 0* versus T. The redox reaction was found to be exothermic with decrease in entropy value.  相似文献
