Shielded sliding discharges are nanosecond streamer discharges which develop along a dielectric between metal foil electrodes, with one of the foils extended over the entire rear of the dielectric layer. The electrode configuration not only allowed rearranging discharges in parallel due to the decoupling effect of the metal layer, but also to modify the electric field distribution in such a way that components normal to the surface are enhanced, leading to an increased energy density in the discharge plasma. By varying the electrode gap, the applied voltage, and the repetition rate, it is shown that by keeping the average electric field constant, the discharge voltage can be reduced from tens of kV to values on the order of a few kV, but only at the expense of a reduced energy density of the plasma. Varying the repetition rate from 20 to 500 Hz resulted in a slightly reduced energy per pulse, likely caused by residual charges on the dielectric surface. Measurements of the NO conversion to NO2 and ozone synthesis in dry air showed that the conversion is only dependent on the energy density of the discharge plasma. Although reducing the pulse voltage from the tens of kV range to that of few kV, and possibly even lower, causes a reduction in energy density, this loss can be compensated for by increasing the electrode gap area. This and the possibility to form discharge arrays allows generating large volume discharge reactors for environmental applications, at modest pulsed voltages.  相似文献

For the construction of the bicyclo[2.2.2]octane skeleton, 2,2-dimethyl-3a,7a-dihydro-1,3-benzodioxole was reacted with vinylene carbonate to give two isomeric cycloadditon products having the bicyclo[2.2.2]octane skeleton. Hydrolysis of the ketal ring and the opening of the carbonate functionality, followed by hydroxylation of the remaining double bond resulted in the formation of a symmetrical hexol. Epoxidation of the double bond in the cycloaddition products and the subsequent ring-opening reactions produce two additional hexol derivatives. One of the synthesized molecules exhibited enzyme-specific inhibition against alpha-glycosidase.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to examine the influence of storage conditions and duration on composition and antioxidant activity of supercritical fluid (SCF) extracted essential oil of rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis L.). Supercritical extraction was carried out sequentially by using SCF carbondioxide in the first two steps and with 5% ethanol as entrainer in the third step. The compositions of the extracts were determined by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry. The total phenolics were analyzed using Folin-Ciocalteau assay. Antioxidant activities of the extracts were tested by β-carotene-linoleic acid bleaching method.  相似文献

Certified alloys of Ni–Cu based, Fe based and Cu–Sn based were analysed by semi-absolute, standardless k 0-instrumental neutron activation analysis (k 0-INAA) and flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry (FAAS) aiming at evaluating their comparative performances. In k 0-INAA measurements, the irradiations were performed at miniaturized neutron source reactor having thermal neutron flux of about 1 × 1012 cm?2 s?1. The experimentally optimized parameters for INAA suggested a maximum of three irradiations for the quantification of 21 elements within 5 days. The same experiments also produced quantitative results of 13 elements not reported in the certificates of the reference materials. AAS was, however, unable to determine any of those elements. Accuracy of the two techniques was assessed by comparing their average root mean squared errors. The data analysis concluded that k 0-INAA had better sensitivity and accuracy than FAAS.  相似文献

In this report, a method for in-source hydrogen/deuterium (H/D) exchange at atmospheric pressure is reported. The method was named atmospheric pressure photo ionization hydrogen/deuterium exchange mass spectrometry (APPI HDX MS). H/D exchange was performed by mixing samples dissolved in toluene with CH3OD solvent and analyzing the mixture using atmospheric pressure photo ionization mass spectrometry (APPI-MS). The APPI HDX spectra obtained with contact times between the analyte solution and methanol-OD (CH3OD) of?<?0.5 s or 1 h showed the same pattern of H/D exchange. Therefore, it was concluded that APPI HDX occurred in the source but not in the solution. The proposed method does not require a specific type of mass spectrometer and can be performed at atmospheric pressure. H/D exchange can be performed in any laboratory with a mass spectrometer and a commercial APPI source. Using this method, multiple H/D exchanges of aromatic hydrogen and/or H/D exchange of active hydrogen were observed. These results demonstrated that H/D exchange can be used to distinguish between isomers containing primary, secondary, and tertiary amines, as well as pyridine and pyrrole functional groups.

Stereoisomerically pure endo‐ and exo‐7‐halo‐7‐(trimethylstannyl)benzonorcar‐3‐enes (=endo‐ and exo‐(1‐halo‐1a,2,7,7a‐tetrahydro‐1H‐cyclopropa[b]naphthalen‐1‐yl)trimethylstannane) 4 and 6 were selectively obtained by lithium? tin or magnesium? tin transmetalation in good yields (Scheme 2 and 3). The reaction of these compounds with copper(I) thiophene‐2‐carboxylate (CuTC) produced in both cases the corresponding CS‐symmetric bicyclopropylidene (=cyclopropylidenecyclopropane) syn‐ 1 , a single diastereoisomer (Schemes 5 and 6). The structure of syn‐ 1 was undoubtedly elucidated by X‐ray single crystal diffraction. The coupling mechanism of the carbenoid cyclopropane is discussed (Scheme 7).  相似文献

Zinc complexes of three new amide-appended ligands have been prepared and isolated. These complexes, [(dpppa)Zn](ClO4)2 (4(ClO4)2; dpppa = N-((N,N-diethylamino)ethyl)-N-((6-pivaloylamido-2-pyridyl)methyl)-N-((2-pyridyl)methyl)amine), [(bdppa)Zn](ClO4)2 (6(ClO4)2; bdppa = N,N-bis((N,N-diethylamino)ethyl)-N-((6-pivaloylamido-2-pyridyl)methyl)amine), and [(epppa)Zn](ClO4)2 (8(ClO4)2; epppa = N-((2-ethylthio)ethyl)-N-((6-pivaloylamido-2-pyridyl)methyl)-N-((2-pyridyl)methyl)amine), have been characterized by X-ray crystallography (4(ClO4)2 and 8(ClO4)2), 1H and 13C NMR, IR, and elemental analysis. Treatment of 4(ClO4)2 or 8(ClO4)2 with 1 equiv of Me4NOH.5H2O in methanol-acetonitrile (5:3) results in amide methanolysis, as determined by the recovery of primary amine-appended forms of the chelate ligand following removal of the zinc ion. These reactions proceed via the initial formation of a deprotonated amide intermediate ([(dpppa-)Zn]ClO4 (5) and [(epppa-)Zn]ClO4 (9)) which in each case has been isolated and characterized (1H and 13C NMR, IR, elemental analysis). Treatment of 6(ClO4)2 with Me4NOH.5H2O in methanol-acetonitrile results in the formation of a deprotonated amide complex, [(bdppa-)Zn]ClO4 (7), which was isolated and characterized. This complex does not undergo amide methanolysis after prolonged heating in a methanol-acetonitrile mixture. Kinetic studies and construction of Eyring plots for the amide methanolysis reactions of 4(ClO4)2 and 8(ClO4)2 yielded thermodynamic parameters that provide a rationale for the relative rates of the amide methanolysis reactions. Overall, we propose that the mechanistic pathway for these amide methanolysis reactions involves reaction of the deprotonated amide complex with methanol to produce a zinc methoxide species, the reactivity of which depends, at least in part, on the steric hindrance imparted by the supporting chelate ligand. Amide methanolysis involving a zinc complex supported by a N2S2 donor chelate ligand (3(ClO4)2) is more complicated, as in addition to the formation of a deprotonated amide intermediate free chelate ligand is present in the reaction mixture.  相似文献

New bis-phthalimides were synthesized by 2: 1 condensation of phthalic anhydride and tetrachlorophthalic anhydride with 1,2,4-triazole-3,5-diamine, pyridine-2,6-diamine, and 4-hydroxypyrimidine- 2,6-diamine. The synthesized compounds were characterized by elemental analyses and IR, 1H NMR, and mass spectra. Their interaction with calf thymus DNA (ct-DNA) was studied by UV-Vis spectrophotometry, cyclic voltammetry, and viscosity measurements, which revealed intercalative mode of binding to ct-DNA. Antibacterial activity of the synthesized compounds against Escherichia coli and Streptococcus mutans was assessed in vitro by the agar well diffusion method. The antioxidant activity of these compounds was estimated by DPPH assay.  相似文献
