Modification of [VO(OPri)3] with oximes in different molar ratios, yielded new class of vanadia precursors, [VO{OPri}3?n{L}n] {where, n = 1–3 and LH = C9H16C=NOH (1–3) and (CH3)2C=NOH (4–6)}.All the products are yellow in colour. (1) and (2) are liquid/viscous liquid, while others are solids. Molecular weight measurements of all these derivatives and the ESI-mass spectral studies of (1), (2), (3) and (5) indicate their monomeric nature. 1H and 13C{1H} NMR spectra suggest that the oximato moieties are monodentate in solution which was further confirmed by the 51V NMR signals, appeared in the region expected for tetra-coordinated oxo-vanadium atoms. On ageing, a disproportionation reaction occurs in (1) and some crystals appeared. Single crystal X-ray diffraction analyses of the crystals obtained from (1) as well as from (3) were found to be the same and indicate the presence of side-on {dihapto η 2-(N, O)} binding modes of the oximato ligands, leading to the formation of seven coordination environment around the vanadium atom. Thermogravimetric curve of (1) exhibits multi-step decomposition with the formation of V2O5 as the final product at ~850 °C. Sol–gel transformation of (3) yielded (a) VO2 sintered at 300 °C and (b) V2O5 at 600 °C. Similarly, sol–gel transformations of (1) and (2) yielded V2O5 (c) and (d) at 600 °C, respectively. Formation of monoclinic phase in (a) and orthorhombic phase in (b), (c) and (d) were confirmed by powder XRD patterns. 相似文献

Some oxime modified complexes of the type [Zr{OPri}4?n{L}n] {where, n = 1–4 and LH=(CH3)2C=NOH (1–4) and C9H16C=NOH (5–8)} have been synthesized by the reaction of [Zr(OPri)4·PriOH] with oximes, in anhydrous refluxing benzene. These synthesized complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, molecular weight measurements, ESI-mass, FT-IR and NMR (1H and 13C{1H}) spectral studies. The ESI-mass spectral studies indicate dimeric nature for [Zr{OPri}2{ONC(CH3)2}2] (2), [Zr{OPri}3{ONC10H16}] (5) and [Zr{OPri}{ONC10H16}3] (7) and monomeric nature for [Zr{ONC10H16}4] (8). Oximato ligands appear to bind the zirconium in side on manner in all the complexes. Thermogravimetric curves of (2) and (8) exhibit multi-step decomposition with the formation of ZrO2, under nitrogen atmosphere. Sol–gel transformations of precursors (5), (6), (7) and (8) in organic medium, yielded nano-sized tetragonal phase of zirconia samples (a), (b), (c) and (d), respectively, on sintering at ~600 °C. spectrum. It is also known that TAG melts incongruently at 1840°C. This makes efficient synthesis of TAG important and challenging
and forms the motivation of the present work to develop techniques for the synthesis of TAG at lower temperatures. In the
present work we report the synthesis of TAG using sol-gel techniques following the citrate-nitrate route. The prepared sample
is sintered at various temperatures in presence of air and characterized using X-ray diffraction, FT-IR spectroscopy, energy

Methanol, acetone and diethyl ether extracts of Alpinia galanga have been evaluated against pathogens viz. Bacillus subtilis MTCC 2391, Enterobacter aerogene, Enterobacter cloacae, Enterococcus faecalis, Escherichia coli MTCC 1563, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa MTCC 6642, Salmonella typhimurium, Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus epidermis using Agar well diffusion method. Minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) of
all the extracts were determined using the macrodilution method. Methanol extracts have shown excellent activity towards all
the pathogens with MIC and MBC values ranging from 0.04–1.28 mg/ml and 0.08–2.56 mg/ml, respectively. The GC–MS analysis of
methanol extracts have yielded compounds like 5-hydroxymethyl furfural (59.9%), benzyl alcohol (57.6%), 1,8 cineole (15.65%),
methylcinnamate (9.4%), 3-phenyl-2-butanone (8.5%) and 1,2 benzenedicarboxylic acid (8.9%), which could be responsible for
its broad spectrum activity. So, A. galanga can be quite resourceful for the development of new generation drugs. 相似文献

A new, selective and sensitive method has been developed for the determination of tricyclic antidepressant drugs, amoxapine and nortriptyline, in human blood plasma and serum, involving their reaction with allyl isothiocyanate and extraction of thiourea derivatives with water-miscible organic solvent acetonitrile. The phase separation was effected by addition of ammonium sulphate, a process called salt-assisted liquid-liquid microextraction. The extract was analyzed by HPLC with UV detection at 254?nm. The method has been optimized for derivatization reaction time and temperature, solvent for extraction, and salt for solvent phase separation. Under the optimal conditions, a linear calibration graph was obtained between the amount of drug and the peak area of thiourea derivatives in the range of 0.002-20?mg/L drugs. The correlation coefficient and limit of detection values for amoxapine and nortriptyline in serum/plasma samples were in the range of 0.9953-0.9999 and 0.46-0.58?μg/L, respectively. The recovery in spiking experiments ranged, respectively, 75-88% (RSD 3.4-7.2%) and 79-97% (RSD 3.7-7.9%) for the two drugs. 相似文献

Nanocrystalline samples of Pb1−yLay(Ti1−xMnx)(1−y/4)O3 (PLMT) (y=0.06, x=0, 0.04, 0.07 and 0.10) were prepared by mechanical activation process (i.e., ball milling) followed by some annealing. The formation of single phase tetragonal crystal structure is confirmed by high-resolution X-ray diffraction study and by High resolution transmission electron micrographs (HRTEM), nano-scale compounds. The electrical behavior (i.e., impedance (Z) and electrical modulus (M)) of PLMT ceramics was studied by impedance spectroscopy technique in high temperature range. This study was carried out by means of the simultaneous analysis of the complex impedance (Z?) and electrical modulus (M*) functions in a wide frequency range (1 kHz-1 MHz). Impedance analysis has shown the grain and grain boundary contributions by an equivalent circuit model. Modulus analysis has provided vast information on charge transport processes. The simultaneous representation of the imaginary part of impedance and electric modulus (Z″, M″) vs. frequency revealed the localization of relaxation. The activation energy obtained from relaxation data may be attributed to oxygen ion vacancies. 相似文献

Prasugrel was subjected to forced degradation studies under conditions of hydrolysis (acid, base, and neutral), photolysis, oxidation, and thermal stress. The drug showed liability in hydrolytic as well as oxidative conditions, resulting in a total of four degradation products. In order to characterize the latter, initially mass fragmentation pathway of the drug was established with the help of mass spectrometry/time‐of‐flight, multiple stage mass spectrometry and hydrogen/deuterium exchange data. The degradation products were then separated on a C18 column using a stability‐indicating volatile buffer method, which was later extended to liquid chromatography‐mass spectrometry studies. The latter highlighted that three degradation products had the same molecular mass, while one was different. To characterize all, their mass fragmentation pathways were established in the same manner as the drug. Subsequently, liquid chromatography‐nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy data were collected. Proton and correlation liquid chromatography with NMR spectroscopy studies highlighted existence of diastereomeric behavior in one pair of degradation products. Lastly, toxicity prediction by computer‐assisted technology (TOPKAT) and deductive estimation of risk from existing knowledge (DEREK) software were employed to assess in silico toxicity of the characterized degradation products. 相似文献

Alpinia galanga is a rhizomatous herb rich in essential oils and various other significant phytoconstituents. Rapid direct regeneration was obtained from the rhizome explants (15.66 ± 0.57 shoots) on MS media supplemented with zeatin at a concentration of 2 mg/l. The callus cultures of A. galanga were initiated from the rhizome explants on MS media supplemented with 2 mg/l each of BAP, 2,4-D, and NAA. The callus was analyzed for the presence of a vital phytoconstituent--acetoxychavicol acetate (ACA) associated with various biological properties. ACA was detected in the young friable callus as well as the stationary phase callus. Moreover, the induction of morphogenetic response in callus resulted in higher accumulation of ACA. The phytohormone withdrawal from the propagation media and the subsequent transfer of callus to BAP (2 mg/l) containing MS media has resulted in multiple shoot induction. The regenerated (indirect) plants have shown 1.6-fold higher ACA content (1.253%) when compared to the control plant (0.783%). Micropropagation of such conventionally propagated plants is very essential to meet the commercial demand as well as to ensure easy storage and transportation of disease free stocks. 相似文献
