In this paper, a low-density parity check (LDPC) coding and iterative decoding system is studied in perpendicular magnetic recording (PMR) with a bit-patterned medium. We propose the efficient iterative decoding algorithm attenuating reliability information, and evaluate the sector error rate (SER) performance of the LDPC coding and iterative decoding system by R/W computer simulations. It is clarified that the proposed systems provide better SER performances than that of the conventional system at an areal density of 1 Tbit/in2 and can also prevent the error floor which appears in the performance of conventional system.  相似文献

We investigate the possible occurrance of partially depaired states in superconducting intercalated layered systems. Those states are discussed as a possible explanation of the high critical fields found in some of these materials. It is shown that the Chandrasekhar-Clogston limit does not apply to those states mentioned above and that the maximum field compatible with superconductivity is a sensitive function of the shape of the Fermi surface. Mean free path and spin-orbit effects on the partially depaired state are investigated. An experiment is proposed to decide between the partially depaired state and a large spin-orbit scattering rate as possible explanations for the large critical fields.  相似文献

The local environment effect in substitutional alloys is considered. We calculate the local density of states by adding a local scattering correction to the average Green's function of the single-site coherent-potential approximation. The electric quadrupole transition from the first 2(+) state to the ground 0(+) state in 16C is studied through measurement of the lifetime by a recoil shadow method applied to inelastically scattered radioactive 16C nuclei. The measured mean lifetime is 77+/-14(stat)+/-19(syst) ps. The central value of mean lifetime corresponds to a B(E2;2+(1)-->0(+)) value of 0.63e(2) fm(4), or 0.26 Weisskopf units. The transition strength is found to be anomalously small compared to the empirically predicted value.  相似文献

A method that combines sequential injection analysis (SIA), flow injection analysis and chemiluminescence (CL) detection was developed for the quasi-simultaneous determination of antioxidative activities against superoxide anion and nitric oxide (NO). The antioxidative activity was expressed as the decrease in luminol CL intensity caused by the quenching of or NO by an antioxidant. The SIA system consisted of two syringe pumps, two selection valves, two holding coils, an HPLC pump to deliver luminol solution, and a CL detector. Operation of the syringe pumps and multiport valves was controlled automatically using a personal computer with appropriate software. A hypoxanthine (HX)-xanthine oxidase (XOD) system was used for the generation of , and (±)-(E)-4-methyl-2-[(E)-hydroxyimino]-5-nitro-6-methoxy-3-hexenamide (NOR1) was employed as NO donor agent. The repeatability of the method was evaluated with 35.2 μg ml−1 L-ascorbic acid, and the relative standard deviations (RSD) of the antioxidative activities were less than 3.8%. The quasi-simultaneous determination of the antioxidative activities in one sample was completed within 2.0 min. The antioxidative activities of some antioxidants and commercially available supplements containing certain antioxidants were successfully determined using this system. The proposed system is rapid and reproducible, and thus may be useful for the screening of functional foods, supplements and pharmaceutical formulations that exhibit antioxidative activity. Sequence-controlled oligomers of cyclic imino ethers were synthesized by the one-pot multi-stage feeding method. Selective formation of the sequence was clearly demonstrated by equimolar reactions between the monomers and 1:1 adducts of an initiator with the monomers. Efficiency of the sequence control is determined by the difference of reactivities of the active ends. A new general prerequisite to synthesize a well-defined sequence by multi-stage oligomerization was proposed.  相似文献

A full-field energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (FF-EDXRF) imaging spectrometer that utilizes single-photon counting analysis with a charge-coupled device was developed in our laboratory. We evaluated the developed spectrometer with respect to its energy resolution, spatial resolution, quantitative performance, and elemental imaging and compared it with the corresponding characteristics of scanning-type EDXRF spectrometers. In addition, we demonstrate that the limit of detection and sensitivity deteriorate as the analytical area decreases. Finally, compressed sensing, which is a widely used information-processing technique, was applied for clearing XRF images.  相似文献

The vector analyzing power has been measured for the elastic scattering of neutron-rich 6He from polarized protons at 71 MeV/nucleon. Two approaches based on local one-body potentials were applied to investigate the spin-orbit interaction between a proton and a 6He nucleus. An optical model analysis revealed that the spin-orbit potential for 6He is characterized by a shallow and long-ranged shape compared with the global systematics of stable nuclei. A semi-microscopic analysis with a α + n + n cluster folding model suggests that the inclusion of realistic interaction between a proton and the α core is important in describing the p-6He elastic scattering.  相似文献
