We report the first experimental observation of strong suppression of matter-wave superradiance using blue-detuned pump light and demonstrate a pump-laser detuning asymmetry in the collective atomic recoil motion. In contrast to all previous theoretical frameworks, which predict that the process should be symmetric with respect to the sign of the detuning of the pump laser from the one-photon resonance, we find that for condensates the symmetry is broken. With high condensate densities and red-detuned pump light the distinctive multiorder, matter-wave scattering pattern is clearly visible, whereas with blue-detuned pump light superradiance is strongly suppressed. However, in the limit of a dilute atomic gas symmetry is restored.  相似文献

This paper presents the design, fabrication, and performance of a compact high temperature superconducting duplexer at VHF-band. The duplexer consists of a T-junction and two four-pole filters with an ultra-narrow bandwidth of 400 kHz at 216 MHz and 220 MHz, respectively. By using gap-coupled feedlines in the filter design procedure, the duplexer is constructed by connecting the two filters using a T-junction with short-length branches. The two filters are fabricated on separate substrates and are carefully packaged to achieve a high isolation between the duplexer channels. The duplexer has a compact size of 41.6 mm × 28 mm. The measured results at 73 K show a high performance. The return loss is −17 dB, the insertion losses of both channels are less than 0.16 dB, and the out-of-band rejections are higher than 60 dB. The isolation between the two channels is better than 76 dB.  相似文献

We report an experimental/theoretical study of single-crystal Bi(2)Ir(2)O(7) that possesses a metallic state with strongly exchange-enhanced paramagnetism. The ground state of Bi(2)Ir(2)O(7) is characterized by the following features: (1) a divergent low-temperature magnetic susceptibility that indicates no long-range order down to 50?mK; (2) strongly field-dependent coefficients of the low-temperature T and T(3) terms of the specific heat; (3) a conspicuously large Wilson ratio R(W)?≈?53.5; and (4) unusual temperature and field dependences of the Hall resistivity that abruptly change below 80?K, without any clear correlation with the magnetic behavior. All these unconventional properties suggest the existence of an exotic ground state in Bi(2)Ir(2)O(7).  相似文献

Assembled from [Th48Ni6] nanocages, the first transition‐metal (TM)‐thorium metal–organic framework (MOF, 1 ) has been synthesized and structurally characterized. 1 exhibits high solvent and acid/base stability, and resistance to 400 kGy β irradiation. Notably, 1 captures ReO4? (an analogue of radioactive 99TcO4?, a key species in nuclear wastes) with a maximum capacity of 807 mg g?1, falling among the largest values known to date. Furthermore, 1 can enrich methylene blue (MB) and can also serve as an effective and recyclable catalyst for CO2 fixation with epoxides; there is no significant loss of catalytic activity after 10 cycles. Theoretical studies with nucleus‐independent chemical shifts and natural bond orbital analysis reveal that the [Th6O8] clusters in 1 have a unique stable electronic structure with (d–p)π aromaticity, partially rationalising 1 ′s stability.  相似文献

A new compound, α‐aminophosphonate derivative containing pyridine ring (PPDE), was designed and synthesized as an extractant for the separation of nickel from metal impurities. Over 94.5% of Ni (II) extraction from sulfuric acid solution was achieved by using PPDE with an equilibrium pH of 4.02. Meanwhile, high separation coefficients of 23.8 for Ni to Co, 84.9 for Ni to Mn, 254.1 for Ni to Ca and 696.7 for Ni to Mg, respectively, were obtained. It was noted that PPDE exhibited an excellent regenerability, and the extraction of Ni with the recycled organic phase ranged from 92.5% to 93.9% during six circulations. The extracted nickel complex was determined as [Ni (PPDE)2(DNNSA?)2(H2O)4], which was supported by the data obtained from Fourier transform‐infrared, UV–Vis and electrospray ionization‐mass spectrometry spectra.  相似文献

Hydrodeoxygenation (HDO) is an attractive route for the upgrading of bio‐oils produced from lignocellulose. Current catalysts require harsh conditions to effect HDO, decreasing the process efficiency in terms of energy and carbon balance. Herein we report a novel and facile method for synthesizing bimetallic PtCo nanoparticle catalysts (ca. 1.5 nm) highly dispersed in the framework of nitrogen‐doped ordered mesoporous carbon (NOMC) for this reaction. We demonstrate that NOMC with either 2D hexagonal (p6m) or 3D cubic (Im m) structure can be easily synthesized by simply adjusting the polymerization temperature. We also demonstrate that PtCo/NOMC (metal loading: Pt 9.90 wt %; Co 3.31 wt %) is a highly effective catalyst for HDO of phenolic compounds and “real‐world” biomass‐derived phenolic streams. In the presence of PtCo/NOMC, full deoxygenation of phenolic compounds and a biomass‐derived phenolic stream is achieved under conditions of low severity.  相似文献

An efficient and easy sample pretreatment methodology was proposed for the detection of photoinitiator 4‐methylbenzophenone from milk before high‐performance liquid chromatography. Appropriate conditions for demulsification were studied. The parameters affecting cloud point extraction, such as concentration of Tween‐20, electrolyte salt, equilibration temperature, and time, have been investigated. When the spiked level was 200–1000 μg/kg, the average addition standard recovery was 99.14–105.98% with the optimum cloud point extraction conditions (concentration of Tween‐20, 138 g/L; mass of anhydrous sodium sulfate, 0.75 g; equilibration temperature, 65°C; equilibration time, 30 min). To decrease the detection limits, further work about the organic solvent, shaking time, and ultrasonic parameters was carried. When the spiked level was 10–100 μg/kg, the average addition standard recovery was 70.40–106.91% with the optimum cloud point extraction and enrichment conditions (optimum cloud point extraction conditions; volume of cyclohexane, 30 mL; shaking time, 20 min; time of ultrasonic, 20 min; temperature of ultrasonic bath, 45°C).  相似文献
