A system of two-dimensional photon gas has recently been realized experimentally. We show that this setup can be used to observe a universal breathing mode of photon gas and a modification in the experimental setup would open up a possibility of observing the Berezinskii–Kosterlitz–Thouless (BKT) phase transition in such a system. Furthermore, the universal jump in the superfluid density of light in the output channel can be used as an unambiguous signature for the experimental verification of the BKT transition.  相似文献

Unidirectionally coupled chaotic systems give rise to driver induced bistability in response system under certain parameters setting. Such a system is studied here with augmented dynamics. A linear augmentation provides a controlled dynamical behavior of response system in two different ways: augmented drive system brings the stabilization of the steady state where as augmented response system is able to control the bistability. We present a detailed analysis of Lorenz–Rössler system with linear augmentation for controlled dynamical behavior.  相似文献

This paper is towards the study of minimal deterministic automata with fuzzy output which realizes the given fuzzy behaviour. The construction of such automaton is based on Myhill-Nerode’s theory, and it is shown that this automaton is a canonical realization of given fuzzy behaviour. Meanwhile, we introduce the categories of deterministic automata with fuzzy output and fuzzy behaviour. The relationship between both the categories through functors is also studied.  相似文献

Amide linked lower rim 1,3-dibenzimidazole derivative of calix[4]arene, L has been shown to be sensitive and selective to Hg(2+) in aqueous acetonitrile solution based on fluorescence spectroscopy, and the stoichiometry of the complexed species has been found to be 1:1. The selectivity of L toward Hg(2+) has been shown among 11 M(2+) ions, viz., Mn(2+), Fe(2+), Co(2+), Ni(2+), Cu(2+), Zn(2+), Cd(2+), Hg(2+), Pb(2+), Ca(2+), and Mg(2+) studied, including those of the mercury group and none of these ions impede the recognition of Hg(2+) by L. Role of the solvent on the recognition of Hg(2+) has been demonstrated. The role of calix[4]arene platform and the benzimidazole moieties in the recognition of Hg(2+) by L has been delineated upon performing such studies with five different molecules of relevance as reference molecular systems. The binding cores formed by the receptor L and the reference compounds have been established based on the single crystal XRD structures, and the preferential metal ion binding cores have been discussed. The binding of Hg(2+) with L has been further established based on (1)H and (13)C NMR, ESI MS, absorption, and fluorescence lifetime measurements. Some of these techniques have been used to establish the stoichiometry of the species formed. The complex species formed between L and Hg(2+) have been isolated and characterized and found to be 1:1 species even in the isolated complex. Whereas transmission electron microscopy (TEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) provided the nanostructural behavior of L, the TEM and SEM demonstrated that the mercury complex has different characteristics when compared to L. The TEM, SEM, and powder XRD studies revealed that whereas L is crystalline, that of the mercury complex is not, perhaps a reason for not being able to obtain single crystals of the complex. Binding characteristics of Hg(2+) toward L have been established based on the DFT computational calculations.  相似文献

Synthesis, crystal conformations of α/γ(4)-hybrid peptide helices containing proteinogenic amino acid side-chains, and the analogy with the α-helix are reported. Results suggest that α/γ(4)-hybrid peptides adopted helical conformations with 12-membered H-bond pseudocycles in single crystals.  相似文献

An efficient, mild, and environmental friendly method has been developed for the synthesis of dicoumarols in water over Lewis and Bronsted acid catalyst sulfated titania (TiO2/SO42−). The method involves the condensation of various aromatic and aliphatic aldehydes with 4-hydroxycoumarin. It affords the corresponding product in high yield with short reaction times employing a very low loading of catalyst. The catalyst was reused several times without significant change in activity.  相似文献

Cestrum diurnum L. (Solanaceae: Solanales) is a multistemmed shrub that is also known as 'Day Jasmine'. The efficacy of the plant as a strong biocontrol agent of the larval anopheline mosquito was evaluated in the laboratory and bioactive ingredients were characterized by thin layer chromatography (TLC) and infrared (IR) analysis. Thin layer chromatographic analysis revealed the presence of steroidal compound as a bioactive ingredient and IR analysis reported the presence of O-H group, C-S bond as a -CH2S group, H bonded -C=O group and carbonyl stress of esters. The LC50 value of the active ingredient was determined as 0.70, 0.89, 0.90 and 1.03 mg/100 mL-1, for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th instar larva respectively in 24 h study period. The active component was analyzed by GLC and GLC-MS and altogether 14 components were detected.  相似文献
