The rates of the hydride abstractions from the 2‐aryl‐1,3‐dimethyl‐benzimidazolines 1a – f by the benzhydrylium tetrafluoroborates 3a – e were determined photometrically by the stopped‐flow method in acetonitrile at 20 °C. The reactions follow second‐order kinetics, and the corresponding rate constants k2 obey the linear free energy relationship log k2(20 °C)= s(N+E), from which the nucleophile‐specific parameters N and s of the 2‐arylbenzimidazolines 1a – c have been derived. With nucleophilicity parameters N around 10, they are among the most reactive neutral C? H hydride donors which have so far been parameterized. The poor correlation between the rates of the hydride transfer reactions and the corresponding hydricities (ΔH0) indicates variable intrinsic barriers.  相似文献

Abstract

A mild and efficient method for the synthesis of 1-oxo-9H-thiopyrano[3,4-b]indole-3-carboxylic acids and dimerized 3-(4-carboxy-1H-3-indolyl)-2-propenoic acids via alkaline hydrolysis of 3-(rhodanin-5-yl)-1H-indole-2-carboxylic acids derivatives was elaborated. Anticancer activity screening in NCI60-cell lines assay allowed identification of 5-fluoro-3-(4-oxo-2-thioxothiazolidin-5-ylidenemethyl)-1H-indole-2-carboxylic acid methyl ester 2a with significant antimitotic activity at micromolar and submicromolar concentrations.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

We demonstrate that Ullman fragment-coupling can be used to synthesise an oxacalix[4]arene monocarboxylic acid, which provides easy access to its water-soluble carboxylato derivatives. Crystallographic and computational data suggest that the new carboxyl-substituted oxacalix[4]arene adopts a 1,3-alternate conformation both in the solid-state and in methanol solution. Its water-soluble tetrabutylammonium derivate can detect the herbicide paraquat at neutral pH in aqueous media (K a = 111 ± 3 M–1) and in methanol (K a = 2020 ± 70 M–1).  相似文献

Abstract

Impregnated thin-layer chromatography (TLC) layers based on silica gel are presented. Impregnating agents such as metal cations, inorganic ions, chelating agents, chiral selectors, surfactants, ion-pairing reagents, and ionic liquids are discussed. The role of impregnated TLC layers in medicinal chemistry is highlighted. The historical overview of TLC separations on physically coated layers is given and some future prospects ahead of this technique are discussed.  相似文献

The formation of excitons in OLEDs is spin dependent and can be controlled by electron‐paramagnetic resonance, affecting device resistance and electroluminescence yield. We explore electrically detected magnetic resonance in the regime of very low magnetic fields (<1 mT). A pronounced feature emerges at zero field in addition to the conventional spin‐ Zeeman resonance for which the Larmor frequency matches that of the incident radiation. By comparing a conventional π‐conjugated polymer as the active material to a perdeuterated analogue, we demonstrate the interplay between the zero‐field feature and local hyperfine fields. The zero‐field peak results from a quasistatic magnetic‐field effect of the RF radiation for periods comparable to the carrier‐pair lifetime. Zeeman resonances are resolved down to 3.2 MHz, approximately twice the Larmor frequency of an electron in Earth's field. However, since reducing hyperfine fields sharpens the Zeeman peak at the cost of an increased zero‐field peak, we suggest that this result may constitute a fundamental low‐field limit of magnetic resonance in carrier‐pair‐based systems. OLEDs offer an alternative solid‐state platform to investigate the radical‐pair mechanism of magnetic‐field effects in photochemical reactions, allowing models of biological magnetoreception to be tested by measuring spin decoherence directly in the time domain by pulsed experiments.  相似文献

Zero‐dimensional (0D) organic metal halide hybrids, in which organic and metal halide ions cocrystallize to form neutral species, are a promising platform for the development of multifunctional crystalline materials. Herein we report the design, synthesis, and characterization of a ternary 0D organic metal halide hybrid, (HMTA)4PbMn0.69Sn0.31Br8, in which the organic cation N‐benzylhexamethylenetetrammonium (HMTA+, C13H19N4+) cocrystallizes with PbBr42?, MnBr42?, and SnBr42?. The wide band gap of the organic cation and distinct optical characteristics of the three metal bromide anions enabled the single‐crystalline “host–guest” system to exhibit emissions from multiple “guest” metal halide species simultaneously. The combination of these emissions led to near‐perfect white emission with a photoluminescence quantum efficiency of around 73 %. Owing to distinct excitations of the three metal halide species, warm‐ to cool‐white emissions could be generated by controlling the excitation wavelength.  相似文献
