Then-component magnet with exchange anisotropy on a compressible lattice, with isotropic elastic properties, is studied. The renormalization group method is applied ind =4 — dimensions. The fixed points and the stability regions are explored to the order 2, and the analysis is concentrated upon the casen<4—2 +O( 2). Investigation of the fixed points reveals various crossover phenomena which are not present in the corresponding rigid model. Renormalization of the anisotropy crossover exponent is demonstrated. It is shown that macroscopic instabilities, leading to the first order phase transition, may appear.  相似文献

The object of this paper has been to determine the effect of water of crystallization on magnetic properties of MgSO4. Changes in the magnetic properties of MgSO4 in depenedence on the number of waters of crystallization have been established from the magnetic susceptibility changes. The value obtained by measurement differs from that calculated by the additivity law. This disagreement can be explained by the presence of the thermally independent Van Vleck's polarization paramagnetism p .The paper brings forward calculations of p values for the individual hydrates of MgSO4.i H2O fori=0, 1, ..., 7. Besides, it examines what portion of the polarization paramagnetism pi of the overall values of pci is due to the effect of water of crystallization. On the basis of this information the deviation from the spherical symmetry, caused by hydration of the MgSO4 molecule, has been interpreted.  相似文献

Influence of Coriolis coupling on excitation of some Nilsson states in155Gd,157Gd and167Er by inelastic scattering of 12·1 MeV deuterons is analysed. The interaction energy between vortices and the structure of the vortex lattice in superconducting layers is calculated. It is shown that the one-dimensional vortex lattice (with vortices in the centre of the layer) is stable in a relatively large interval of magnetic fields above the flux penetration field. This result is true not only for very thin layers (with dimensions smaller than the penetration depth), but also for layers withd>. The results can be helpful at explaining some unusual experimental results on Josephson effects in long superconducting bridges.  相似文献

Strictly localized or resonance Shockley surface states have been found on the (111), (010) and (110) faces of paramagnetic bcc iron for ,¯M and ¯N points in the corresponding surface Brillouin zones. Energy, character of wave function and its damping for these states are reported. Emphasis is laid on implications of surface states in photoemission, field-electron and -ion emission, electron energy-loss or disappearance potential spectroscopy, Auger electron spectroscopy, work function, magnetic properties, electric conductivity, as well as chemisorption and catalysis.  相似文献

Analysing the general dispersion relation numerically, the unstable regions of the relativistic electron-beam plasma system were determined. The external parameters were varied to ensure more effective instability excitations. The full charge and current compensation presumptions lead to new synchronism predictions. The return current's slow space charge wave and return current's slow cyclotron wave are synchronous with the plasma ion wave.  相似文献

Enantioseparation of N-tert.-butyloxycarbonyl amino acids (N-t-Boc-Aas) with teicoplanin chiral selector was performed in two different separation systems: A teicoplanin-based chiral stationary phase (CSP-TE) was used in reversed-phase HPLC, and the same chiral selector (CS) was added into a background electrolyte (BGE) in HPCE. The enantioselective interaction with the same CSP/CS can be influenced by several factors, such as mobile phase/background electrolyte composition: the buffer concentration, pH, the CS concentration, the presence of organic modifiers. In addition, the charge of the chiral selector related to the charge of the analyte and to EOF are important variables in CE. The effect of these parameters on enantioselectivity and enantioseparation of selected N-t-Boc-Aas was studied. The presence of a sufficient concentration (1% solution) of a triethylamine acetate buffer in the mobile phase was shown to be essential for enantioseparation of these blocked amino acids in HPLC. A certain concentration of teicoplanin aggregates (along with teicoplanin molecules) in the BGE is required to obtain enantioseparation of N-t-Boc-Aas in HPCE.  相似文献

The effect of different wavebands of artificial UV (UVB and UVA) and photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) was assessed in two species of the genus Ulva, U. olivascens and U. rotundata, from southern Spain in order to test for possible differences in acclimation of photosynthesis. Both species share similar morphology but are subject to different light environments: U. rotundata is an estuarine alga, inhabiting subtidal locations, while U. olivascens is an intertidal, sun-adapted organism. Algae were exposed to three different UV conditions, PAR+UVA+UVB, PAR+UVA and PAR for 7 d. Short-term exposure (6 h) was also carried out, using two PAR levels, 150 and 700 micromolm(-2)s(-1). Pigment contents and photosynthesis vs. irradiance curves from oxygen evolution were used to contrast sun- and shade adaptation between these species. O2-based net photosynthesis (Pmax) and PAM-chlorophyll fluorescence (optimal quantum yield, Fv/Fm) were used as parameters to evaluate photoinhibition of photosynthesis in the experiments. The results underline different photobiological characteristics among species: the subtidal U. rotundata had higher contents of pigments (Chl a, Chl b and carotenoids) than the sun-adapted U. olivascens, which resulted in higher thallus absorptance and P-I parameters characterized by higher photosynthetic efficiency at limiting irradiances (alpha) and lower saturating points for photosynthesis (Ek). After 7 d exposure, photoinhibition of Fv/Fm was close to 40-45% in both species. Differences between UV treatments were seen in U. rotundata after 5 d and after 7 d in U. olivascens, in which PAR+UVA impaired strongly photosynthesis (80%). Such patterns were correlated with a progressive decrease in pigment contents, specially chlorophylls. In short-term (6 h) exposures, combinations of UVA+UVB and high PAR level resulted in high rates of photoinhibition of chlorophyll fluorescence (68-92%) in U. rotundata, whereas in U. olivascens photoinhibition ranged between 42% and 53%. Photoinhibition under low PAR combined to UV radiation was lower than observed under high PAR. Net O2-Pmax revealed similar response among the species, with maximal photoinhibition rates close to 60% in algae incubated under high PAR+UVA+UVB. In the case of UV exposure in combination with low PAR, the highest photoinhibition rates were measured in U. rotundata.  相似文献

Vibrational spectra of Ph4Si have been studied from 600 to 20 cm?1 in solution, in the melt and in the crystalline state. The assignments proposed for the substituent sensitive benzene ring vibrations, for the skeletal bending modes and ring librations have been supported by polarized IR and Raman measurements. The crystal spectra are interpreted on the basis of the S4 site symmetry of the molecules in the crystal. Two skeletal bending and four ring librational modes are supposed to appear below 120 cm?1, in the range of the lattice vibrations.  相似文献
