Spectral characteristics of ortho, meta and para dihydroxy benzenes (DHB's) have been studied in different solvents, pH and beta-cyclodextrin. Solvent study shows that: (i) the interaction of OH group with the aromatic ring is less than that of amino group both in the ground and excited states, (ii) in absorption, the charge transfer interaction of OH group in para position is larger than ortho and meta positions. pH studies reveals that DHB's are more acidic than phenol. The higher pK(a) value of oDHB (monoanion-dianion) indicates that the formed monoanion is more stabilized by intramolecular hydrogen bonding. DHB's forms a 1:1 inclusion complex with beta-CD. In beta-CD medium, absorption spectra of DHB's mono and dianions shows unusual blue shifts, whereas in the excited state, the spectral characteristics of DHB's follow the same trend in both aqueous and beta-CD medium. 相似文献

In this paper an unconditional probabilistic algorithm to compute the class number of a real quadratic field is presented, which computes the class number in expected time . The algorithm is a random version of Shanks' algorithm. One of the main steps in algorithms to compute the class number is the approximation of . Previous algorithms with the above running time , obtain an approximation for by assuming an appropriate extension of the Riemann Hypothesis. Our algorithm finds an appoximation for without assuming the Riemann Hypothesis, by using a new technique that we call the `Random Summation Technique'. As a result, we are able to compute the regulator deterministically in expected time . However, our estimate of on the running time of our algorithm to compute the class number is not effective.

A simple, specific, sensitive and reproducible high‐performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) assay method has been developed and validated for the estimation of odanacatib in rat and human plasma. The bioanalytical procedure involves extraction of odanacatib and itraconazole (internal standard, IS) from a 200 μL plasma aliquot with simple liquid–liquid extraction process. Chromatographic separation was achieved on a Symmetry Shield RP18 using an isocratic mobile phase at a flow rate of 0.7 mL/min. The UV detection wave length was 268 nm. Odanacatib and IS eluted at 5.5 and 8.6 min, respectively with a total run time of 10 min. Method validation was performed as per US Food and Drug Administration guidelines and the results met the acceptance criteria. The calibration curve was linear over a concentration range of 50.9–2037 ng/mL (r2 = 0.994). The intra‐ and inter‐day precisions were in the range of 2.06–5.11 and 5.84–13.1%, respectively, in rat plasma and 2.38–7.90 and 6.39–10.2%, respectively, in human plasma. The present study investigates the dynamical properties of a fractional order coronary artery system and its control with uncertainties in the parameters. The fractional order model of the coronary artery system (FOCA) is derived using the Grünwald–Letnikov method and the properties of the FOCA system are discussed. Bifurcation plots of the system in the parameter space are derived and presented. The novelty of the paper is the identification of the multistable feature shown by the FOCA system, which has not been discussed in the research literature. Various coexisting attractors are also presented to show the multistability. An adaptive sliding mode controller is designed to stabilize the chaotic oscillations in the FOCA system. Numerical simulations are conducted to indicate the effectiveness of the controller. 相似文献
