In the current investigation,L-proline cadmium chloride monohydrate(LPCC) single crystal is grown by a slow solvent evaporation technique to identify its credibility for nonlinear optical device applications.The constituent elements of LPCC crystal are determined by the energy dispersive spectroscopic(EDS) technique.The single crystal x-ray diffraction technique is used to determine the structural dimensions of LPCC crystal.The UV-visible studies are carried out within a wavelength range of 200 nm–1100 nm to determine the optical transmittance of LPCC crystal.The linear optical parameters of LPCC crystal are evaluated using the transmittance data to discuss its importance for distinct optical devices.The Nd:YAG laser assisted Kurtz–Perry test is carried out to determine the enhancement in second harmonic generation efficiency of LPCC crystal with reference to KDP crystal.The Z-scan technique is employed to assess the third order nonlinear optical(TONLO) properties of LPCC crystal at 632.8 nm.The Z-scan data are utilized to evaluate the TONLO refraction,absorption and susceptibility of LPCC crystal.The color oriented luminescence behavior of LPCC crystal is investigated within a spectral range of 350 nm–700 nm.The dependence of dielectric constant and dielectric loss on temperature and frequency is evaluated through the dielectric measurement studies.  相似文献

用浸渍法制备γ-Al2O3负载的Ni-Mn双金属催化剂.在500~700 oC按照17:17:2的CO2/CH4/N2比例,以36 mL/min的载气流速进行甲烷二氧化碳重整反应, 利用甲烷二氧化碳的转化率、生成的合成气H2/CO比例以及长期稳定性等指标评价了催化剂的催化性能. 实验表明, 添加Mn提高催化性能并使双金属催化剂的稳定性更高, 比单金属催化剂更好地抑制焦炭生成,Mn最合适的添加量0.5wt% .通过BET、CO2-TPD、TGA、XRD、SEM、EDX和FTIR各种技术对催化剂进行了表征.  相似文献

The optical nonlinearity of styryl7 dye in ethanol solution at different concentrations has been studied using pulsed Nd:YAG laser at 532 nm as the source of excitation. The optical responses were characterized by measuring the intensity dependent refractive index (n2) of the medium using the Z-scan technique. The open aperture Z-scan trace of the dye in solution displayed saturable absorption. The closed aperture Z-scan trace of the dye exhibited a negative nonlinearity. The styryl7 dye at 1 mM concentration exhibited nonlinear refractive co-efficient n2 = −1.24 × 10−8 cm2/W, nonlinear absorption coefficient β = − 3.9 × 10−4 cm/W and real and imaginary parts of third-order nonlinear optical susceptibility χ3 = 3.26 × 10−6 esu in ethanol. These results showed that the dye has potential application in nonlinear optics.  相似文献

Raman and IR spectra of neat anisaldehyde (4‐methoxybenzaldehyde (4MeOBz)) and its binary mixtures (in polar and nonpolar solvents) with varying mole fraction of 4MeOBz were investigated. The concentration dependence of the wavenumber position and line width (full width at half maximum, FWHM) was analyzed to study the interaction of the solute vibrational modes with the microscopic solvent environment. The wavenumbers of Raman modes of 4MeOBz, namely, the carbonyl stretching, aldehydic δ (C H) and ring‐breathing modes, showed a linear variation in the peak position for varying concentrations of 4MeOBz in the different solvents. The dependence of Raman line width with concentration of 4MeOBz of these modes was also taken into account. The solute–solvent interaction is stronger in 2‐propanol and acetonitrile because of the formation of hydrogen bonds between them, whereas in benzene the interaction is too weak to affect the Raman modes. The modes, ν (CO) in 2‐propanol and aldehydic δ (C H) in acetonitrile, gave a Gaussian‐type line width variation, which was explained by the concentration fluctuation model, and the linear variation of the line widths was also interpreted by solute–solvent interactions. An efficient protocol is described for the rapid in vitro clonal propagation of an endangered medicinal plant, Rauvolfia tetraphylla L., through high frequency shoot induction from nodal explants collected from young shoots of a field grown plant. Effects of growth regulators [6-benzyladenine (BA), kinetin (Kin) 2iP, or ??-naphthalene acetic acid (NAA)], carbohydrates, different medium [Murashige and Skoog (MS), Woody Plant Medium (WPM), Gamborg medium (B5), Linsmier and Skoog medium (LS)], and various pH levels on in vitro morphogenesis were investigated. The highest frequency of shoot regeneration (90?%) and maximum number of shoot (35.4?±?2.3) per explant were observed on WPM medium supplemented with 7.5???M BA, 2.5???M NAA, and 30?g/l sucrose at pH?5.8. Well-developed shoots, 4?C5?cm in length, were successfully rooted ex vitro at 90?% by a 30-min pulse treatment with 150???M IBA prior to their transfer in planting substrates. The survival rate of transplantation reached 90?% when transferred to field condition. Genetic stability of micropropagated plantlets was assessed and compared with mother plant using Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA and Inter Simple Sequence Repeats markers. No variation was observed in DNA fingerprinting patterns among the micropropagated plants, which were similar to that of the donor plant illustrating their genetic uniformity and clonal fidelity. This confirms that clonal propagation of this plant using axillary shoot buds can be used for commercial exploitation of the selected genotype where a high degree of fidelity is an essential prerequisite. The work contributed to a better in vitro regeneration and clonal mass multiplication of R. tetraphylla and to develop a strategy for the germplasm conservation of this endangered medicinal plant.  相似文献
