The DAMA project is an observatory for rare processes and it is operative deep underground at the Gran Sasso National Laboratory of the I.N.F.N. In particular, the DAMA/LIBRA (Large sodium Iodide Bulk for RAre processes) set-up consists of highly radiopure NaI(Tl) detectors for a total sensitive exposed mass of ?250 kg. Recent results, obtained by this set-up by exploiting the model independent annual modulation signature of Dark Matter (DM) particles, have confirmed and improved those obtained by the former DAMA/NaI experiment. A model independent evidence for the presence of Dark Matter particles in the galactic halo is cumulatively obtained at 8.2?σ C.L. No systematics or side reactions able to account for the measured modulation amplitude and to contemporaneously satisfy all the many specific requirements of the signature have been found or suggested by anyone over more than a decade. An example of one of the many possible model dependent corollary quests for the candidate particles and for the related astrophysical, nuclear and particle physics scenarios is presented considering the whole cumulative exposure. The ab initio energies, nuclear and electron repulsions and charge distributions have been calculated using moderately large basis sets as a function of the RC  N angle (R  NH2, NF2 or PF2). The optimum RC  N angles were calculated to be 178.9°, 176.6°, and 175° for NH2CN, NF2CN, and PF2CN, respectively. A rationalization of the differing bends is presented in terms of nuclear-nuclear and electron-electron repulsions.  相似文献

On the basis of semiempirical calculations, the conformation of the isolated molecule of 2-bromo-1,1-diphenylprop-1-ene corresponding to the minimum of total energy was determined. Assuming some information on the localization of the molecules in the crystal, also the conformation in a theoretical crystal was studied. The results have been compared with the crystal structure of 2-bromo-1,1-diphenylprop-1-ene, as obtained by X-ray diffraction. From the comparison a slight displacement of the C2 atom was suggested.
Zusammenfassung Die dem Minimum der Gesamtenergie entsprechende Konformation des isolierten Moleküls von 2-Brom-1,1-diphenylprop-1-en wurde durch halb-empirische Methoden bestimmt. Gewisse Ergebnisse über die Anordnung der Moleküle im Kristall machten es möglich, die Konformation in einem theoretischen Kristall zu untersuchen. Nach Vergleich der Resultate mit der durch Röntgen-Analyse bestimmten Kristallstruktur des 2-Brom-1,1-diphenylprop-1-en wurde eine kleine Verschiebung des C2-Atoms vorgeschlagen.

Résumé Par le moyen de calculs semiempiriques on a déterminé la conformation de la molécule isolée de 2-bromo-1, 1-diphénilprop-1-ène, correspondant au minimum d'énergie totale. On a aussi étudié la conformation dans le cristal théorique en se basant sur des informations concernant la localisation des molécules dans le cristal. On a comparé ces résultats avec ceux que nous avons obtenus par la détermination de la structure cristalline du 2-bromo-1, 1-diphénilprop-1-ène avec la diffraction des rayons X: cette comparaison nous a porté à déplacer un petit peu l'atome C 2.

The mass spectrometric behaviour of 2-(2-pyridyl)-2,3-dihydroxy-5-phenyl-4-pentene has been studied with the aid of B/E, B2/E linked scans, exact mass measurements, collisionally activated dissociation mass-analysed ion kinetic energy spectra, and labelling experiments. The primary loss of water is proved to involve both hydroxylic hydrogens, thus suggesting the formation of an epoxidic radical ion and the presence of extensive skeletal rearrangements.  相似文献

Substituted isoxazolidinium salts react with lithium aluminium hydride to yield open-ring products which have hydroxylamine structures. The bimolecular reaction-mechanism has been investigated by substituent effect and the structure of the products ascertained by spectroscopic methods with the aid of the MIKE technique. The overall process of the ring-opening substitution is controlled by the polarisation of the C? N bond with steric and conformational factors acting mainly at the C-5 position of the nucleus. The mechanism of isoxazolidinium ion reaction defines the use of these synthons towards the synthesis of N,N,O-trisubstituted hydroxylamines and substituted 1,3-amino-alcohols.  相似文献

Baseline separation of the enantiomers of a number of negatively charged amino and mandelic acid derivatives was achieved in less than 10 min by capillary electrophoresis in a polyacrylamide coated capillary, using the “partial filling method” (PFM) with submillimolar concentration of Teicoplanin (TE) as the chiral selector. The influence of the charge and concentration of TE, electrolyte solution composition and pH, on the enantioresolution was examined. Further proofs were brought to corroborate the hypothesis that the enantiorecognition takes place at the D-Ala-D-Ala binding site, whose blockade is responsible for the antibacterial activity of glycopeptide antibiotics. While the dependence of the chiral recognition capabilities of TE on electrolyte solution composition and pH could limit its applicability, improved sensitivity, reduction of TE wall adsorption, resulting in a good efficiency, and high cost reduction, due to the very small amount of chiral selector required, were shown as advantages of the PFM adopted in this study.  相似文献
