Well‐defined poly(vinyl acetate) (PVAc) and poly(N‐vinylpyrrolidone)‐co‐poly(vinyl acetate) (PNVP‐co‐PVAc) chains end‐capped by Co(acac)2 (acac=acetylacetonate) and prepared by cobalt‐mediated radical polymerization (CMRP) are grafted onto a fullerene. Homolytic Co? C bond cleavage of the polymer chain ends at 30 °C releases the polymeric radicals that add onto C60, thereby leading to the corresponding PVAc/C60 and PNVP‐co‐PVAc/C60 nanohybrids. The [polymer–Co(acac)2]/[C60] molar ratio was varied to adjust the structure of the nanohybrids, and more particularly the number of grafted arms. Finally, the potential of the hydrosoluble PVOH/C60 nanohybrids, which result from the methanolysis of the ester groups of PVAc/C60, and of the PNVP‐co‐PVAc/C60 nanohybrids as photosensitizers for photodynamic therapy (PDT), was approached. First, photobleaching tests demonstrated the ability of these nanohybrids to produce singlet oxygen upon irradiation, which can play a role in cell damage. Second, cell viability assays demonstrated that both types of nanohybrids are deprived of intrinsic cytotoxicity in the dark, whereas they promoted significant cell mortality when subjected to light treatment. The selective response of these materials to irradiation makes them promising compounds for PDT.  相似文献

Synthesis of the lactone core 17 of 8-epi-griseoviridin is reported. Thioethynyl derivative 11 was easily prepared via an anionic coupling reaction between acetylenic compound 9 and sulfone 10. After desilylation of 11, saponification of the resulting hydroxy ester 12 followed by a Mitsunobu macrolactonization furnished the unusual triple-bond-containing nine-membered lactone 13 in 50% yield for the last two steps (39% after recrystallization). Stannylation under Magriotis conditions led to the pure regio- and stereocontrolled vinyltin 14 (80% yield). After a Sn/I exchange, palladium-catalyzed carbonylation delivered either the ester lactone 16 in 67% yield or the propargyl amide 17 in 65% yield. Synthesis of propargyl amide 17 of the lactone core of 8-epi-griseoviridin was achieved in 11.9% overall yield from commercial L-cystin dimethyl ester (nine steps).  相似文献

采用水热合成方法制备了2个基于Keggin型杂多酸的无机-有机杂化物, 化学式分别为{[Cu2(4,4′- bipy)4(H2O)4](SiMo12O40)·18H2O}n(1)和{[Cu2(4,4′-bipy)4(H2O)4](PMo6W6O40)·18H2O}n(2)(bipy=bipyridine). 结构分析 表明2个化合物同构, Cu2+是六配位, 分别与4个4,4′-bipy上的N原子和2个水分子上的O原子结合, 形成 [Cu(4,4′-bipy)2(H2O)2]n2n+二维层状结构. 杂多阴离子通过静电与配位阳离子[Cu(4,4′-bipy)2(H2O)2]n2n+作用交叉排列在层间. 通过红外光谱、 粉末X射线衍射和固体紫外-可见漫反射光谱等对化合物的性质进行了表征. 研究了所合成化合物对水溶性染料亚甲基蓝的降解活性, 发现2种化合物对于亚甲基蓝均表现出显著的光降解活性, 并对它们的催化机理进行了讨论.  相似文献

Summary: Poly(vinyl acetate) chains end‐capped by a Co(acac)2 complex [PVAc‐Co(acac)2] were prepared by bulk cobalt‐mediated radical polymerization (CMRP) of vinyl acetate and used for grafting fullerene (C60) with four PVAc arms at low temperature (30 °C). A photoactive water‐soluble poly(vinyl alcohol)/C60 nanohybrid was then prepared by hydrolysis of the PVAc arms of the nanohybrid. Because of photoactivity and very low cytotoxicity, this type of water‐soluble nanohybrid is very promising for the photodynamic cancer therapy.

Water‐soluble star‐like poly(vinyl alcohol)/C60 and poly{[poly(ethylene glycol) acrylate]‐co‐(vinyl acetate)}/C60 nanohybrids are prepared by grafting macroradicals onto C60 and are assessed as photosensitizers for photodynamic therapy. The photophysical and biological properties of both nanohybrids highlight key characteristics influencing their overall efficiency. The macromolecular structure (linear/graft) and nature (presence/absence of hydroxyl groups) of the polymeric arms respectively impact the photodynamic activity and the stealthiness of the nanohybrids. The advantages of both nanohybrids are encountered in a third one, poly[(N‐vinylpyrrolidone)‐co‐(vinyl acetate)]/C60, which has linear grafts without hydroxyl groups, and shows a better photodynamic activity.

The chemical composition and the antimicrobial activity of the essential oil isolated from aerial parts of Acronychia pedunculata (L.) Miq. from Vietnam are reported. Analysis was carried out by GC (RI), GC-MS and 13C NMR. Thirty-four compounds were identified, accounting for 92.8% of the oil. The major constituents were alpha-pinene (57.4%) and (E)-beta-caryophyllene (13.6%). The essential oil of A. pedunculata was shown to possess a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity against various bacteria, particularly Salmonella enterica and Staphylococcus epidermidis.  相似文献

Black soldier fly larvae (BSFL)-derived proteins are gaining popularity as sustainable pet food ingredients. According to the literature, these ingredients have strong antioxidant and antimicrobial activities. Due to the ability of BSFL protein derivatives to donate hydrogen atoms and/or electrons to counterpoise unstable molecules, they could possibly help in the prevention of osteoarthritis. During this study, the antiarthritic potential of BSFL protein derivatives was evaluated using the following assays: (1) proteinase inhibition, (2) erythrocyte membrane stability, (3) reactive oxygen species (ROS) production by activated macrophages, (4) ROS production by monocytes, and (5) cellular toxicity. Additionally, the glucosamine content of these ingredients was also evaluated. Chicken meal is commonly used in pet food formulations and was used as an industrial benchmark. The results obtained during this study demonstrated the strong antiarthritic potential of BSFL protein derivatives. We found that BSFL protein derivatives are not only useful in preventing the development of arthritis but could also help to cure it due to the presence of glucosamine. We also found that chicken meal could contribute to the development of arthritis by increasing ROS production by monocytes.  相似文献

Oxidation of dilute methane in oxygen containing mixtures by atmospheric pressure dielectric barrier discharge at moderate temperature (below 150°C) has been studied with regard to the effect of water vapor. First, the impact of water vapor on methane conversion was studied in nitrogen. In dry nitrogen, methane was converted into hydrogen cyanide and hydrogen in the absence of oxidant. When water was added, it both acted as a scavenger in competition with methane for reactive nitrogen species and changed the reaction product speciation from HCN to carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide. The addition of water also led to the formation of hydrogen and nitrogen oxides. In the presence of oxygen, the addition of 1% water vapor enhanced methane conversion. Increasing water vapor content above 1% had a slight positive effect on methane conversion, and was found to enhance selectivity of the reaction products toward carbon dioxide over carbon monoxide.  相似文献
