A new method of measuring the reflectivity factor

A new method is given of measuring reflectivity and compared with methods known up to now, which are characterized briefly. The applicability and suitability of the given method is shown on an example of measurement of the reflectivity of germanium in the ultra-violet and visible regions.

     

Study of the ionization rate variations in ionization waves in plasma I

The value of the phase of the maximum of ionization rate variations is calculated by using the relations determined in the present paper and the experimental results obtained by ícha and Drouet (Can. J. Phys.46 (1968), 2491). A possible interpretation of the results obtained has been proposed, taking into account the variation of the electron energy distribution function.     

Covalency and anisotropicg-factor of V2+ in NaCl

The anisotropicg-factor of the transition metal ions V²⁺ (d³) in NaCl is studied. The role of the configuration mixing effect and the deformation of the covalent orbitals in the tetragonal crystal field were taken into consideration.     

A note on the negative absorption of electromagnetic waves at the cyclotron resonance of plasma electrons

The quantum interpretation of the negative absorption of electromagnetic waves at the cyclotron resonance of plasma is given, and the conditions under which the negative absorption takes placs are examined.     

Der Einfluss der Plastischen Verformung durch Kaltwalzen auf die Koerzitivkraft

Zusammenfassung Es werden die Ergebnisse der Messungen der Koerzitivkraft von Eisen, Nickel und einiger Fe-Ni-Legierungen in Abhängigkeit von der plastischen Verformung durch Kaltwalzen angegeben. Gemessen wurde in Richtung parallel und senkrecht zur Walzrichtung. Die Ergebnisse werden insbesondere vom Gesichtspunkt des Einflusses der Versetzungen und der einachsigen induzierten Anisotropie diskutiert.
