A H-bond-driven, noncovalent, reversible solubilization/functionalization of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) in apolar organic solvents (CHCl(3), CH(2)Cl(2), and toluene) has been accomplished through a dynamic combination of self-assembly and self-organization processes leading to the formation of supramolecular polymers, which enfold around the outer wall of the MWCNTs. To this end, a library of phenylacetylene molecular scaffolds with complementary recognition sites at their extremities has been synthesized. They exhibit triple parallel H-bonds between the NH-N-NH (DAD) functions of 2,6-di(acetylamino)pyridine and the CO-NH-CO (ADA) imidic groups of uracil derivatives. These residues are placed at 180° relative to each other (linear systems) or at 60°/120° (angular modules), in order to tune their ability of wrapping around MWCNTs. Molecular Dynamics (MD) simulations showed that the formation of the hybrid assembly MWCNT?[X?Y](n) (where X = 1a or 1b -DAD- and Y = 2, 3, or 4 -ADA-) is attributed to π-π and CH-π interactions between the graphitic walls of the carbon materials and the oligophenyleneethynylene polymer backbones along with its alkyl groups, respectively. Addition of polar or protic solvents, such as DMSO or MeOH, causes the disruption of the H-bonds with partial detachment of the polymer from the CNTs, followed by precipitation. Taking advantage of the chromophoric and luminescence properties of the molecular subunits, the solubilization/precipitation processes have been monitored by UV-vis absorption and luminescence spectroscopies. A series of positively-charged derivatives has been prepared by reaction of histamine with substituted pyrylium salts. These pyridinium histamine derivatives were investigated as activators of the zinc enzyme carbonic anhydrase (CA, EC 4.2.1.1) and more precisely the human isoforms hCA I, II and VII. Activities from the subnanomolar to the micromolar range were detected for these compounds as activators of the three isoforms, confirming the validity of current and previous designs. The substitution pattern at the pyridinium ring was the main factor influencing activity, the three isoforms showing different structural requirements for good activity, related with the number of pyridinium substituting groups and their nature, among various alkyl, phenyl and para-substituted styryl moieties. We were successful in identifying nanomolar potent and selective activators for each isozyme and also activators with a relatively good activity against all isozymes tested--valuable lead compounds for physiology and pathology studies involving these isozymes. 相似文献

The green-fluorescent protein of the jellyfish operates with the most powerful phenolate donors in the push-pull fluorophore. To nevertheless achieve red fluorescence with the same architecture, sea anemone and corals apply oxidative imination, a process that accounts for the chemistry of vision as well. The objective of this study was to apply these lessons from nature to one of the most compact family of panchromatic fluorophores, i.e. core-substituted naphthalenediimides (cNDIs). We report straightforward synthetic access to hydroxylated cNDI and cPDI cores by palladium-catalyzed cleavage of allyloxy substituents. With hydroxylated cNDIs but not cPDIs in water-containing media, excited-state intramolecular proton transfer yields a second bathochromic emission. Deprotonation of hydroquinone, catechol and boronic ester cores provides access to an impressive panchromism up to the NIR frontier at 640 nm. With cNDIs, oxidative imination gives red shifts up to 638 nm, whereas the expanded cPDIs already absorb at 754 nm upon deprotonation of hydroquinone cores. The practical usefulness of hydroquinone cNDIs is exemplified by ratiometric sensing of the purity of DMF with the "naked eye" at a sensitivity far beyond the "naked nose". We conclude that the panchromatic hypersensitivity toward the environment of the new cNDIs is ideal for pattern generation in differential sensing arrays. 相似文献

In a previous paper (Kasangian and Labella, J Pure Appl Algebra, 2009) we proved a form of Conduché’s theorem for LSymcat-categories, where L was a meet-semilattice monoid. The original theorem was proved in Conduché (CR Acad Sci Paris 275:A891–A894, 1972) for ordinary categories. We showed also that the “lifting factorisation condition” used to prove the theorem is strictly
related to the notion of state for processes whose semantics is modeled by LSymcat-categories. In this note we resume the content of Kasangian and Labella (J Pure Appl Algebra, 2009) in order to generalise the theorem to other situations, mainly arising from computer science. We will consider PSymcat-categories, where P is slightly more general than a meet-semilattice monoid, in which the lifting factorisation condition for a PSymcat-functor still implies the existence of a right adjoint to its corresponding inverse image functor. 相似文献

In this report, we have presented the first diastereoselective addition of phenylacetylene to chiral racemic chloroketones. The addition is controlled by the reactivity of the chloroketones that allowed the stereoselective reaction to be performed at -20 °C. Chiral racemic chloroketones are used in the reaction. By carefully controlling the temperature and the reaction time we were able to isolate the corresponding products in moderate yields and with good, simple and predictable facial stereoselection. Our reaction is a rare example of the use of chiral ketones in an enantioselective alkynylation reaction and opens new perspectives for the formation of chiral quaternary stereocenters. 相似文献

This communication describes a simple, rapid and cost effective method of embedding a conductive and flexible material within microfluidic devices as a means to realize uniform electric fields within cellular microenvironments. Fluidic channels and electrodes are fabricated by traditional soft-lithography in conjunction with chemical etching of PDMS. Devices can be deformable (thus allowing for a combination of electro-mechanical stimulation), they are made from inexpensive materials and easily assembled by hand; this method is thus accessible to a wide range of laboratories and budgets. 相似文献

representation of the system via a family of measures which, pushed forward by some flow maps, provide an estimate of the
space occupancy by pedestrians at successive times. From the modeling point of view, this setting is particularly suitable
for treating nonlocal interactions among pedestrians, obstacles, and wall boundary conditions. In addition, the analysis and
