There has been growing interest in realized volatility (RV) of financial assets that is calculated using intra-day returns. The choice of optimal time grid for these calculations is not trivial and generally requires analysis of RV dependence on the grid spacing (so-called RV signature). Typical RV signatures have a maximum at the finest time grid spacing available, which is attributed to the microstructure effects. This maximum decays into a plateau at lower frequencies, which implies (almost) stationary return variance. We found that the RV signatures in the modern global FX market may have no plateau or even have a maximum at lower frequencies. Simple averaging methods used to address the microstructure effects in equities have no practical effect on the FX RV signatures. We show that local detrending of the high-frequency FX rate samples yields RV signatures with a pronounced plateau. This implies that FX rates can be described with a Brownian motion having non-stationary trend and stationary variance. We point at a role of algorithmic trading as a possible cause of micro-trends in FX rates.  相似文献

Abstract

Calcium phosphates are well known to be perspective as biomaterials, for example. the dental ones. There are two tendencies in investigation and design of such materials. They are the search of porous biomaterials and development of dense bioceramics on the basic of hydroxópatite and crystallized calcium phosphate glasses. Control of glasses crystallization with the help of modificators and nucleating agents is the main way for producing dense biomaterials [1, 2]. We used natural alumosiiicates, for example, kaolin as a reagent and modificator for calcium polyphosphate to achieve a good quality of materials without stages of glass formation and glass crystallization.  相似文献

Abstract

Heterocyclic derivatives of gem-bisphosphonates exhibit various biological activities. We have found that thiazolium substituted bisphosphonic acids can be obtained by two-step synthesis from amino-bisphosphonates (I). Reaction of (I) with isothiocyanates in alkohol in the presence of triethylamine led to corresponding thioureas (II) obtained as natrium or triethylamonium salts [1]. Further treatment of (II) with α-bromoketones give aminothiazoles (III) with a good yield. As a rule only less hindered nitrogen atom is involved into the cyclization with formation of one from two of possible isomers.  相似文献

Highly dispersed molybdenum oxide supported on mesoporous silica SBA‐15 has been prepared by anion exchange resulting in a series of catalysts with changing Mo densities (0.2–2.5 Mo atoms nm?2). X‐ray absorption, UV/Vis, Raman, and IR spectroscopy indicate that doubly anchored tetrahedral dioxo MoO4 units are the major surface species at all loadings. Higher reducibility at loadings close to the monolayer measured by temperature‐programmed reduction and a steep increase in the catalytic activity observed in metathesis of propene and oxidative dehydrogenation of propane at 8 % of Mo loading are attributed to frustration of Mo oxide surface species and lateral interactions. Based on DFT calculations, NEXAFS spectra at the O‐K‐edge at high Mo loadings are explained by distorted MoO4 complexes. Limited availability of anchor silanol groups at high loadings forces the MoO4 groups to form more strained configurations. The occurrence of strain is linked to the increase in reactivity.  相似文献

Following a similar approach on carvacrol-based derivatives, we investigated the synthesis and the microbiological screening against eight strains of H. pylori, and the cytotoxic activity against human gastric adenocarcinoma (AGS) cells of a new series of ether compounds based on the structure of thymol. Structural analysis comprehended elemental analysis and 1H/13C/19F NMR spectra. The analysis of structure–activity relationships within this molecular library of 38 structurally-related compounds reported that some chemical modifications of the OH group of thymol led to broad-spectrum growth inhibition on all isolates. Preferred substitutions were benzyl groups compared to alkyl chains, and the specific presence of functional groups at para position of the benzyl moiety such as 4-CN and 4-Ph endowed the most anti-H. pylori activity toward all the strains with minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) values up to 4 µg/mL. Poly-substitution on the benzyl ring was not essential. Moreover, several compounds characterized by the lowest minimum inhibitory concentration/minimum bactericidal concentration (MIC/MBC) values against H. pylori were also tested in order to verify a cytotoxic effect against AGS cells with respect to 5-fluorouracil and carvacrol. Three derivatives can be considered as new lead compounds alternative to current therapy to manage H. pylori infection, preventing the occurrence of severe gastric diseases. The present work confirms the possibility to use natural compounds as templates for the medicinal semi-synthesis.  相似文献

We analyze the recently found inequality for eigenvalues of the density matrix and purity parameters describing either a bipartite-system state or a single-qudit state. We rewrite the Minkowski-type trace inequality for the density matrices of the qudit states in terms of the purity parameters and discuss the properties of the inequality obtained, paying special attention to the X-states of two qubits and a single qudit. Also we study the relation of the purity inequalities obtained with the entanglement.  相似文献

Water-soluble double-coated magnetic nanoparticles (NPs) containing cytotoxic decyldimethyl(ββ-dimethylaminoethoxy)silane methiodide (AA) molecule sorbed at biocompatible magnetic particles, which consist of magnetite pre-coated with oleic acid (OA), have been prepared. X-ray line profile broadening analysis was used for crystallite size determination. The method of magnetogranulometry has been used for determination of diameter of iron oxide magnetic core and magnetic properties of NPs prepared. In vitro cytotoxicity on monolayer tumor cell lines HT-1080 (human fibrosarcoma), MG-22A (mouse hepatoma) and normal mouse fibroblasts (NIH 3T3) has been studied. It was revealed that all the water-based colloidal solutions obtained are non-toxic and possess high NO-induction ability.  相似文献
