The current study reports the fabrication of co-combination gel using Pregabalin and Withania coagulans fruit extract to validate its effectiveness for neuropathic pain in chronic constriction injury (CCI) rat models. Three topical gels were prepared using Carbopol 934 through a pseudo-ternary phase diagram incorporating the Pregabalin (2.5%), Withania coagulans extract (2%), and co-combination of both Pregabalin (2.5%) and Withania coagulans extract (2%). Gels were characterized. FTIR showed a successful polymeric network of the gel without any interaction. The drug distribution at the molecular level was confirmed by XRD. The AFM images topographically indicated the rough surface of gels with a size range from 0.25 to 330 nm. DSC showed the disappearance of sharp peaks of the drug and extract, showing successful incorporation into the polymeric network of gels. The in vitro drug release of co-combination gel was 73% over 48 h. The mechanism of drug release by combination gel was Higuchi+ fickian with values of n (0.282) and R2 (0.947). An in vivo study for pain assessment via four methods: (i) heat hyperalgesia, (ii) cold allodynia, (iii) mechano-hyperalgesia, and (iv) dynamic mechano-allodynia, confirmed that topical treatment with co-combination gel reduced the pain significantly as indicated by the p value: R1 (p < 0.001), R2 (p < 0.001), R3 (p < 0.015), and R4 (p < 0.0344). The significance order was R2 (****) > R1 (***) > R3 (**) > R4 (*) > R5 (ns). 相似文献
Tungsten oxide/graphene hybrid materials are attractive semiconductors for energy-related applications. Herein, we report an asymmetric supercapacitor (ASC, HRG//m-WO3 ASC), fabricated from monoclinic tungsten oxide (m-WO3) nanoplates as a negative electrode and highly reduced graphene oxide (HRG) as a positive electrode material. The supercapacitor performance of the prepared electrodes was evaluated in an aqueous electrolyte (1 m H2SO4) using three- and two-electrode systems. The HRG//m-WO3 ASC exhibits a maximum specific capacitance of 389 F g−1 at a current density of 0.5 A g−1, with an associated high energy density of 93 Wh kg−1 at a power density of 500 W kg−1 in a wide 1.6 V operating potential window. In addition, the HRG//m-WO3 ASC displays long-term cycling stability, maintaining 92 % of the original specific capacitance after 5000 galvanostatic charge–discharge cycles. The m-WO3 nanoplates were prepared hydrothermally while HRG was synthesized by a modified Hummers method. 相似文献
This study proposes a new lattice hydrodynamic model considering the effects of bilateral gaps on a road without lane discipline. In particular, a lattice hydrodynamic model is proposed to capture the impacts from the lateral gaps of the right-side and left-side sites of the considered lattice sites. Linear stability analysis of the proposed model is performed using the perturbation method to obtain the stability condition. Nonlinear analysis of the proposed model is performed using the reductive perturbation method to derive the modified Korteweg–de Vries (mKdV) equation to characterize the density wave propagation. Results from numerical experiments illustrate that the smoothness and stability of the proposed model are improved compared with the model that considers the effect of unilateral gap. Also, the proposed model is able to more quickly dissipate the effect of perturbation occurring in the vehicular traffic flow. 相似文献
We describe a highly sensitive glucose probe based on carbon dots modified with MnO2. A strong reduction of the green fluorescence of the carbon dots (CDs) happened due to the surface energy transfer (SET) from CDs to the deposited MnO2. In the presence of H2O2 (formed via enzymatic oxidation of glucose), fluorescence is restored because the MnO2 nanosheets are reduced to form colorless Mn(II) ions. These findings were used to design a fluorometric glucose assay that has a detection limit as low as 44 nM (at an S/N ratio of 3).
Graphical Abstract A strong reduction of the green fluorescence of the carbon dots (CDs) occurs due to surface energy transfer (SET) from CDs to the deposited MnO2. In the presence of H2O2 (formed by enzymatic action of glucose oxidase) the MnO2 nanosheets are reduced to form colorless Mn(II) ions, and glucose can be quantified by the fluorescence restored.
The isolation and structure elucidation of a new triterpenic acid named floccosic acid ( 1 ) is reported on the basis of the 1D‐ and 2D‐NMR assignments. This secondary metabolite was isolated as a new constituent, along with the known triterpenoids, betulinic acid and β‐amyrin. All these compounds were purified by repeated column chromatography of the MeOH extract of Nepeta floccosa. The structure elucidation of the new compound was accomplished by the combined mass spectrometry (MS), infrared (IR) and ultraviolet (UV) absorption spectroscopy, one‐ (1H‐ and 13C‐) and two‐dimensional (H? C correlations; HMBC and HSQC) NMR techniques. The known compounds were identified by comparison of their physical and spectroscopic data with those reported in the literature. 相似文献
The structure elucidation of two new phthalate derivatives named nepethalates A ( 1 ) and B ( 2 ) is reported. Both of these secondary metabolites were isolated from the MeOH extract of Nepeta clarkei. HR‐EI‐MS, IR and UV absorption spectrometry, and NMR experiments including COSY, HMQC, and HMBC were used for the determination of the structures and complete 1H‐ and 13C‐NMR assignments. 相似文献
We isolated and identified a gibberellin-producing Burkholderia sp. KCTC 11096 from agricultural field soils. The culture filtrate of plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) significantly increased the germination and growth of lettuce and Chinese cabbage seeds. The ethyl acetate extract of the PGPR culture showed significantly higher rate of lettuce seed germination and growth as compared to the distilled water treated control. The ethyl acetate fraction of the Burkholderia sp. was subjected to bioassay-guided isolation and we obtained for the first time from a Burkholderia sp. the plant growth promoting compound rhizonin A (1), which was characterized through NMR and MS techniques. Application of various concentrations of 1 significantly promoted the lettuce seed germination as compared to control. 相似文献
Phytochemical investigation of Ajuga bracteosa Wall ex Benth. (Labiatae) resulted in the isolation of a new phenolic compound, ajuganane (1) and three known compounds, 3,4'-dihydroxy-3,6,7-trimethoxyflavone, 7-hydroxy-3,6,3',4'-tetramethoxyflavone and ursolic acid. The structure of the new compound was elucidated by detailed spectroscopic (1H, 13C NMR, COSY, HMQC, HMBC), and HR-EI-MS analysis. 相似文献
Steady-state conjugate natural convection in a square cavity filled with a porous medium is studied numerically in this paper.
The enclosure consists of two horizontal conductive walls of finite thickness and two vertical walls at different uniform
temperatures. The focus is on the role of solid-fluid conductivity ratio, k, on the flow and heat transfer characteristics and the average Nusselt number, , over the vertical hot and cold walls of the cavity for a limited set of particular parameters. It was shown that the interface
temperature, θw, along the top of the solid wall decreases with the increase in the wall conductivity k. Also, the values of decreases with the increase of the values of the parameter k. Comparison with known results from the open literature when the wall thickness of the horizontal solid walls is neglected
(non-conjugate problem) is excellent.
