Summary 4-Chloro-3-aryl-coumarins and quinolones2 a–e undergo thermolytic ring closure by reaction with sodium azide in refluxing dimethyl formamide to yield indolo[3,2-c]coumarins and indolo[3,2-c]quinolin-6(5H)-ones6 a–e. In the case of the coumarin2 a the azido coumarin5 can be isolated. The mono- and diazacoumestrol-dimethylethers6 a–c are converted into the coumestrol analogues7 a–c and their diacetyl derivatives8 a–c.

In the present work, a slurry sampling flame atomic absorption spectrometric method to determine directly manganese and zinc in powdered chocolate samples is proposed. The optimization step was performed using univariate methodology involving the following factors: nature and concentration of the acid solution, sonication time, and particle size. The established conditions led to the use of a sample mass of 150 mg, 2.0 mol L− 1 nitric acid solution, sonication time of 15 min, and a slurry volume of 50 mL. This method allows the determination of manganese and zinc with detection limit of 52 and 61 ng g− 1, respectively, and a precision expressed as relative standard deviation (RSD) of 2.6% and 3.2% (both, n = 10) for contents of manganese and zinc of 52.4 and 100.0 μg g− 1, respectively. The proposed method was applied for determination of manganese and zinc in five powdered chocolate samples. In these, the manganese content varied from 42.8 to 52.7 and from 88.6 to 102.4 μg g− 1 of zinc. The analytical results were compared with the results obtained by analysis of these samples after digestion using open vessel and acid bomb digestion procedures and determination using FS-FAAS. The statistical comparison by t-test (95% confidence level) showed no significant difference between these results. 相似文献

The stereochemical outcome of the reaction of chiral secondary alcohols with a phosphinyl chloride was found to be highly dependent on the achiral base used. Thus, the reaction of the readily available sugar derived carbinols, 1 and 2, with methylphenylphosphinyl chloride in the presence of triethylamine yields stereoselectively the corresponding Snp-phosphinates 3Sp and 5Sp in 94 and 92% diastereomeric excess (de). Simply changing the base from triethylamine to pyridine affords Rp-phosphinates 4Rp and 6Rp epimers to 3Sp and 5Sp at the phosphinyl phosphorus in 50 and 40% de respectively. These phosphinate esters were found to be good P-chiral transferring intermediates, they react with Grignard reagents under very mild conditions to give the corresponding phosphine oxides. Both enantiomers Sp- and Rp-o-anisylmethylphenylphosphine oxide (PAMPO) as well Sp- and Rp- methylphenylpropyl phosphine oxide were obained enantiomerically pure in high yields 相似文献

Olefin cross-metathesis (CM) is potentially an attractive method for generating dynamic combinatorial libraries (DCLs). In order for the CM reaction to be useful for DCL production, the course of the reaction and product distribution must be relatively insensitive to functionality remote from the reacting centers. The potential of the INAA and PIXE methods for the detection of mineral microelement changes in pathological human blood serum has been evaluated on nine cases of different hemopathies. These included hereditary hemolytic anemias (thalassemia, sickle cell disease, spherocytosis) and Hodgkin's disease. 23 elements (Na, Al, Cl, Ca, Sc, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, Se, Br, Rb, Ag, Sb, Cs, Ba, Au, Hg, Pb) have been detected in serum. E values, both positive and negative, are displayed by mixtures containing 1- or 2-octanol, whereas positive and larger values are always found for mixtures containing dibutyl ether and hexylacetate. These results can be justified in terms of H-bonding interactions and/or steric hindrance due to the branched alkyl chains. Partial molar volumes at infinite dilution of the isomeric butanols in the C8 compounds were also calculated from the apparent molar volumes in dilute solution. The solute-solvent interactions and the effects of the local organisation of the solvent around the butanol molecules were discussed using the void and cavity volumes as different estimates of the intrinsic volume of the molecules. The volumetric behavior of butanols seems to be determined by the solute-solvent interactions rather than packaging effects. 相似文献

Using the continuum theory of linear elasticity, Huang diffuse scattering (HDS) has been calculated from self-interstitials in a general orthorhombic and tetragonal lattice. Various defect configurations are represented according to the point group symmetry of the defect site. The change of the pH of a NaCl solution (139-149 mM NaCl) buffered with 5-15 mM sodium phosphates (pH 7.4) during electromanipulation was studied. It has been determined that an increase in the pH value of electroporation solution of a whole chamber volume, caused by the application of electric field pulses, commonly used in cell electromanipulation procedures, can exceed 1-2 pH units. Several materials for the cathode were tested. In all cases a stainless steel anode was utilized. The aluminum cathode gave a two-fold greater DeltapH in comparison with platinum, copper or stainless steel cathodes. In addition, a substantial release of aluminum (up to 1 mg/l) from the cathode was observed. It has also been found that the shift in pH depended on the medium conductivity: DeltapH of the solution, in which sucrose was substituted for NaCl, was about 5 times less. On the basis of the results obtained here, to avoid the plausible undesirable consequences of the cathodic electrolysis processes, in particular under the conditions of strong electric treatment, it could be recommended that chambers with aluminum electrodes not be utilized and one should use strongly buffered solutions of low conductivity and alternating current (sine or square wave) bipolar electric pulses. 相似文献

A method is described for the simultaneous determination of organophosphorus and triazine pesticides in olive oil, whereby reversed-phase liquid chromatography (LC) is coupled to gas chromatography by means of an automated through-oven transfer adsorption-desorption (TOTAD) interface. The olive oil needs to be filtered only before it is loaded into the liquid chromatograph, where preseparation of the pesticide residues from the other olive oil components is carried out by using methanol-water as the eluant. The LC fraction containing the pesticides is automatically transferred to the gas chromatograph by using the TOTAD interface, which almost totally eliminates the solvent, so that water-sensitive detectors such as the nitrogen-phosphorus detector can be used. Detection limits range from 0.07 to 0.38 microg/L for organophosphorus pesticides and from 6.0 to 7.0 microg/L for triazines. The results were compared with those obtained by flame ionization detection. 相似文献
