The three title compounds, namely 4‐phenyl‐1H‐imidazolium hexa‐μ2‐chloro‐chloro‐μ4‐oxo‐tris­(4‐phenyl‐1H‐imidazole‐κN1)­tetra­copper(II) monohydrate, (C9H9N2)[Cu4Cl7O(C9H8N2)3]·H2O, hexa‐μ2‐chloro‐μ4‐oxo‐tetra­kis­(pyridine N‐oxide‐κO)tetra­copper(II), [Cu4Cl6O(C5H5NO)4], and hexa‐μ2‐chloro‐tetra­kis(2‐methyl‐1H‐imidazole‐κN1)‐μ4‐oxo‐tetra­copper(II) methanol trisolvate, [Cu4Cl6O(C4H6N2)4]·3CH4O, exhibit the same Cu4OCl6 framework, where the O atom at the centre of an almost regular tetra­hedron bridges four copper cations at the corners. This group is in turn surrounded by a Cl6 octa­hedron, leading to a rather globular species. This special arrangement of the CuII cations results in a diversity of magnetic behaviours.  相似文献

The use of aerosol produced in a nebulization chamber is proposed as an alternative to gas sample capture in flow systems. This paper describes the coupling of a sampling interface with a flow system, for in situ gas monitoring. Aspects related with the behavior of aerosol formation and gas solubilization in liquid drops are discussed. The method is applied to the determination of residual lime in acidic soils. Aliquots of 5.0 ml of 1.0 mol l−1 HCl were mixed with soil samples (1 g). The CO2 released from these samples was captured by a nebulized aerosol and determined conductivity. The analytical curve from 1.0×10−2 to 5.0×10−2 mol kg−1 CaCO3 was ploted applying the matrix matching approach. This proposition, allowed an increase in the sensibility with detection limit of 6.0×10−3 mol kg−1. The precision was good (R.S.D. <3%) for an analytical frequency of 22 determinations per hour. A fair agreement, at 95% confidence level, was found between the results from the proposed method and certified values of the investigated samples.  相似文献

This work presents an analysis of the equivalence of MP2 and DFT (B3LYP functional) conformational populations. As a test case, we select three cholinergic agents (trans‐nicotine, acetylcholine, and the nicotinic analgesic ABT‐594), where the minima on the conformational energy hypersurfaces expand a large range of energies (~0–30 kJ mol?1). From energetic and structural data obtained in vacuo at the MP2 and B3LYP/cc‐pVDZ levels, we build conformational partition functions, including the effect of the conformational kinetic energy and the rotovibrational coupling. Our results at a physiological temperature (37°C) show qualitative agreement in all cases. Quantitative agreement, however, is only found for trans‐nicotine and ABT‐594. In the first case, energy minima differ by <0.2 kJ mol?1. Therefore, the equivalence of structural results translates in the equivalence of the conformational distribution. For ABT‐594, the minima are separated by as much as 8.0 kJ mol?1, and the conformational energy determines the conformational distribution. In this case, the slight relative variation of conformational energy, between B3LYP and MP2, does not affect the population, since the secondary minima are high in energy and very low in population. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The standard (p degrees = 0.1 MPa) molar enthalpies of formation of 2-, 3-, and 4-chloroaniline were derived from the standard molar energies of combustion, in oxygen, at T = 298.15 K, measured by rotating bomb combustion calorimetry. The Calvet high-temperature vacuum sublimation technique was used to measure the enthalpies of vaporization or sublimation of the three isomers. These two thermodynamic parameters yielded the standard molar enthalpies of formation of the three isomers of chloroaniline, in the gaseous phase, at T = 298.15 K, as 53.4 +/- 3.1 kJ.mol(-1) for 2-chloroaniline, 53.0 +/- 2.8 kJ.mol(-1) for 3-chloroaniline, and 59.7 +/- 2.3 kJ.mol(-1) for 4-chloroaniline. These values, which correct previously published data, were used to test the computational methodologies used. Therewith, gas-phase acidities, proton affinities, electron donor capacities, and N-H bond dissociation enthalpies were calculated and found to compare well with available experimental data for these parameters.  相似文献

The protonation of five representative oxaziridines is reported for inert solvents (deuterio-chloroform or carbon tetrachloride) where conjugate acid formation may be effected by the addition of about 20% (v/v) TFA. Comparison of the 1H nmr chemical shifts for neutral and conjugate acid forms suggests that oxaziridines usually undergo protonation on the N-atom under these conditions. For one compound studied, 2-ethyl-3-p-nitrophenyloxaziridine, there is a possibility that protonation occurs on the alternative O-atom. The relevance of these findings to the mechanism of the acid-catalysed hydrolysis of oxaziridines is discussed.  相似文献

A simple and reproducible method for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of free mono- and disaccharides (fructose, glucose, galactose, sucrose, lactulose and lactose) in milk-based formulae by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with refractive index (RI) detection was developed and validated. The method showed good linearity with determination coefficients exceeding 0.99. The limits of detection (DL) in these sugars were 0.17, 0.13, 0.06, 0.16, 0.05 and 0.25 mg/ml, respectively; and the limits of quantification (QL), 0.27, 0.24, 0.20, 0.26, 0.22 and 0.38 mg/ml. The relative standard deviations (R.S.D.s) for repeatability in fructose, sucrose, lactulose and lactose were 0.78, 0.99, 2.91 and 0.46 and the R.S.D.s for reproducibility were 4.8, 6.15, 7.04 and 2.49, respectively. Recoveries in all sugars were between 93 and 113%.  相似文献

The reactions of 1-bromo-, 1-iodo-, 2-bromo-, 1,3-dibromo-, and 1,4-dibromoadamantane with Me(3)Sn(-) ions were studied in liquid ammonia. The photostimulated reaction of 1-haloadamantane (1-XAd, X = Br, I) or 2-BrAd with Me(3)Sn(-) ions gave in a few minutes excellent yields of the substitution products. The 1,3-dibromo- and 1,4-dibromoadamantane with Me(3)Sn(-) ions also reacted very fast under irradiation to give the disubstitution product in good yields. In competition experiments, 1-ClAd is 5.3 times more reactive than 5-chloro-2-adamantanone (9) toward Me(3)Sn(-) ions in liquid ammonia. When the nucleophile is the Ph(2)P(-) ion, 1-ClAd reacts 2.4 times faster than 9. This is the first time that no redox catalysis was observed when the bridgehead compound bears a carbonyl group as a pi acceptor. On the other hand, the nucleophile Me(3)Sn(-) ion was ca. >1000 times more reactive than Ph(3)Sn(-) ions toward 1-adamantyl radicals, in contrast to the behavior of aryl radicals, where both nucleophiles have the same reactivity.  相似文献

Photoinduced charge separation and recombination in a carotenoid-porphyrin-fullerene triad C-P-C(60)(1) have been followed by multifrequency time-resolved electron paramagnetic resonance (TREPR) at intermediate magnetic field and microwave frequency (X-band) and high field and frequency (W-band). The electron-transfer process has been characterized in the different phases of two uniaxial liquid crystals (E-7 and ZLI-1167). The triad undergoes photoinduced electron transfer, with the generation of a long-lived charge-separated state, and charge recombination to the triplet state, localized in the carotene moiety, mimicking different aspects of the photosynthetic electron-transfer process. Both the photoinduced spin-correlated radical pair and the spin-polarized recombination triplet are observed starting from the crystalline up to the isotropic phase of the liquid crystals. The W-band TREPR radical pair spectrum has allowed unambiguous assignment of the spin-correlated radical pair spectrum to the charge-separated state C(.+)-P-C(60)(.-). The magnetic interaction parameters have been evaluated by simulation of the spin-polarized radical pair spectrum and the spin-selective recombination rates have been derived from the time dependence of the spectrum. The weak exchange interaction parameter (J = +0.5 +/- 0.2 G) provides a direct measure of the dominant electronic coupling matrix element V between the C(.+)-P-C(60)(.-) radical pair state and the recombination triplet state (3)C-P-C(60). The kinetic parameters have been analyzed in terms of the effect of the liquid crystal medium on the electron-transfer process. Effects of orientation of the molecular triad in the liquid crystal are evidenced by simulations of the carotenoid triplet state EPR spectra at different orientations of the external magnetic field with respect to the director of the mesophase. The order parameter (S = 0.5 +/- 0.05) has been evaluated.  相似文献
