Factorial design and principal component analyses are applied to CH3F infrared frequencies and intensities calculated from ab initio wave functions. In the factorial analysis, the quantitative effects of changing from a 6–31G to a 6–311G basis, of including polarization and diffuse orbitals, and of correcting for electron correlation using the second-order Møller-Plesset procedure are determined for all frequencies and intensities. The most significant main effect observed for the frequencies corresponds to the shift from Hartree-Fock to MP2 calculations, which tends to lower all frequency values by approximately 100 cm−1. For the intensities, the main effects are larger for the CF stretching and the CH3 asymmetric stretching modes. Interaction effects between two or more of the four factors are found to be of minor importance, except for the interaction between correlation and polarization. The principal component analysis indicates that wave functions with polarization and diffuse orbitals at the second-order Møller-Plesset level provide the best estimates for the harmonic frequencies, but not for the intensities. For the frequencies, the first principal component distinguishes between MP2 and Hartree-Fock calculations, while the second component separates the wave functions with polarization orbitals from those without these orbitals. For the intensities, the separation is similar but less well defined. This analysis also shows that wave function optimization to calculate accurate intensities is more difficult than an optimization for frequencies. © 1996 by John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

Organoboron compounds have become one of the most versatile building blocks in organic synthesis owing to their accessible and efficient conversion into many different functional groups. In particular, alkenyl boronates have received a great deal of attention as very reactive substrates in Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reactions. Accordingly, efforts towards the development of efficient methods to prepare this type of compound are ongoing. In this contribution, the progress in the search for synthetic routes for alkenyl boronates and their use in a variety of organic transformations is accounted.  相似文献

An eco‐friendly protocol for the synthesis of azobenzene dyes by oxidative coupling of primary aromatic amines is reported. As efficient biocatalytic systems, CotA laccase and CotA laccase/ABTS (2,2′‐azinobis(3‐ethylbenzothiazoline‐6‐sulfonic acid)) enable the oxidation of various substituted anilines, in aqueous medium, ambient atmosphere and under mild reaction conditions of pH and temperature. A series of azobenzene dyes were prepared in good to excellent yields in an one‐pot reaction. A mechanistic proposal for the formation of the azo derivatives is presented. Our strategy offers an alternative approach for the direct synthesis of azobenzene dyes, avoiding the harsh conditions generally required for most of the traditional synthetic methods.  相似文献

Poly(limonene carbonate) (PLC) has been highlighted as an attractive substitute to petroleum derived plastics, due to its utilisation of CO2 and bio-based limonene as feedstocks, offering an effective carbon capture and utilisation pathway. Our study investigates the techno-economic viability and environmental sustainability of a novel process to produce PLC from citrus waste derived limonene, coupled with an anaerobic digestion process to enable energy cogeneration and waste recovery maximisation. Computational process design was integrated with a life cycle assessment to identify the sustainability improvement opportunities. PLC production was found to be economically viable, assuming sufficient citrus waste is supplied to the process, and environmentally preferable to polystyrene (PS) in various impact categories including climate change. However, it exhibited greater environmental burdens than PS across other impact categories, although the environmental performance could be improved with a waste recovery system, at the cost of a process design shift towards energy generation. Finally, our study quantified the potential contribution of PLC to mitigating the escape of atmospheric CO2 concentration from the planetary boundary. We emphasise the importance of a holistic approach to process design and highlight the potential impacts of biopolymers, which is instrumental in solving environmental problems facing the plastic industry and building a sustainable circular economy.  相似文献

The experimental realization of a chaotic secure communication system is introduced herein taking advantage of Arduino’s open source integrated development environment along with its preset functions that reduce development time and complexity. The system uses multi-directional multi-scroll chaotic oscillators that are based on piecewise-linear functions. Experimental results are given for chaos generators in 1-direction (1-D), 2-D and 3-D of up to 20, \(20\times 20\) and \(20\times 20\times 20\) scrolls, respectively. Using two chaos generators, a chaotic secure communication system is implemented in a master–slave topology by applying generalized Hamiltonian forms and observer approach. Finally, we detail experimental results for the synchronization of \(6\times 6\) and \(20\times 20\) scroll attractors, which are used for transmitting a monochromatic image through the Arduino-based chaotic secure communication system.  相似文献

In this work, we propose the utilization of scCO2 to impregnate ibuprofen into the mcl-PHA matrix produced by Pseudomonas chlororaphis subs. aurantiaca (DSM 19603). The biopolymer has adhesive properties, is biocompatible and has a melting temperature of 45 °C. Several conditions, namely, pressure (15 and 20 MPa) and impregnation time (30 min, 1 h and 3 h) were tested. The highest ibuprofen content (90.8 ± 6.5 mg of ibuprofen/gPHA) was obtained at 20 MPa and 40 °C, for 1 h, with an impregnation rate of 89 mg/(g·h). The processed mcl-PHA samples suffered a plasticization, as shown by the decrease of 6.5 °C in the Tg, at 20 MPa. The polymer’s crystallinity was also affected concomitantly with the matrices’ ibuprofen content. For all the impregnation conditions tested the release of ibuprofen from the biopolymer followed a type II release profile. This study has demonstrated that the mcl-PHA produced by P. chlororaphis has a great potential for the development of novel topical drug delivery systems.  相似文献

Water dispersible nanofibrilar polyaniline (NF‐PANI) provides a novel and direct route towards carbon nanotube water dispersions of high concentration. Carrying out the chemical synthesis of NF‐PANI in the presence of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) results in an entirely nanostructured nanofibrilar polyaniline/carbon nanotube (NF‐PANI/CNT) composite material that contains well segregated CNTs partially coated by NF‐PANI. This new approach is simple, fast, and inexpensive, and enables the direct preparation of stable and homogeneous dispersions of the composites in water at concentrations up to 10 mg · mL−1, even for the highest CNT loadings of 50 wt.‐% without the participation of surfactants or stabilizers.

Graphene/noble metal substrates for surface enhanced RAMAN scattering (SERS) possess synergistically improved performance, due to the strong chemical enhancement mechanism accounted to graphene and the electromagnetic mechanism raised from the metal nanoparticles. However, only the effect of noble metal nanoparticles characteristics on the SERS performance was studied so far. In attempts to bring a light to the effect of quality of graphene, in this work, two different graphene oxides were selected, slightly oxidized GOS (20%) with low aspect ratio (1000) and highly oxidized (50%) GOG with high aspect ratio (14,000). GO and precursors for noble metal nanoparticles (NP) simultaneous were reduced, resulting in rGO decorated with AgNPs and AuNPs. The graphene characteristics affected the size, shape, and packing of nanoparticles. The oxygen functionalities actuated as nucleation sites for AgNPs, thus GOG was decorated with higher number and smaller size AgNPs than GOS. Oppositely, AuNPs preferred bare graphene surface, thus GOS was covered with smaller size, densely packed nanoparticles, resulting in the best SERS performance. Fluorescein in concentration of 10−7 M was detected with enhancement factor of 82 × 104. This work demonstrates that selection of graphene is additional tool toward powerful SERS substrates.  相似文献

A computationally‐assisted methodology to assign the vibrational spectra of molecular materials (PiMM) has been successfully applied to the Raman and infrared (IR) spectra of trans‐cinnamic acid (t‐CIA) in the solid state. The effects of molecular association through O H···O hydrogen‐bonding in both the wavenumber and the intensity of the bands are accurately described by a single dimer structure. This supports the discrimination between the possible conformers in the solid, the complete evaluation of hydrogen‐bonding effects, and the full assignment of the vibrational spectra of t‐CIA.
