The structures and energetics of the tetracarbindanes C4Inn−4Men (n = 6-14) have been determined by density functional theory. In contrast to their aluminum and gallium analogs, the lowest energy tetracarbindanes typically have all four carbon atoms segregated into a single C4 unit. Thus, linear C4 units resembling butadiene are found in the lowest energy C4Inn−4Men structures. In addition, some higher energy tetracarbindane structures have a structural feature not found in any of the corresponding tetracarbalanes and tetracarbagallanes, namely closed trapezoidal C4 units resembling cyclobutene. Such trapezoidal C4 units bind to the Inn−4 subcluster with the CC edge bonding to a single indium atoms as an olefin-metal or 3-center 2-electron bond. These differences may be attributed to the larger size of indium atoms (1.42 Å covalent radius) relative to gallium atoms (1.22 Å covalent radius).  相似文献

Highly b‐oriented, closely packed, MFI zeolite films are prepared on seeded stainless‐steel plates using organic template‐free, secondary growth solutions, containing aluminum sulfate as a crystallization agent. The number of a‐oriented twin crystals is significantly reduced, and even eliminated, simply by restricting the pH value of the secondary growth solution to the narrow range of 11.1–11.3. Values of pH can be adjusted through the controlled addition of (NH4)2SO4 or H2SO4 to secondary growth solutions of the composition (1 SiO2:0.57 NaOH:137.5 H2O:0.0050 (Al2(SO4)3?18 H2O)) or by simply decreasing the molar composition of NaOH with no extra additives.  相似文献

The behavior of Al2O3/Al composite coated Al electrodes fabricated by surface mechanical alloying ‘SMA’ was studied. The work was accomplished using Cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) techniques in alkaline media 2MKOH were done at room temperature. Results show hydroxyl ions accumulate on the surface due to Al deformation micro cavities filling with Al2O3 until full charge blockage reached. A barrier cover layer development causing an increase of both resistance and capacitance as it becomes more stable and thinner with exposure time increase. Migrating hydroxyl ion inside micro cavity changed its composition from Al2O3 to stable tetrahedral Al(OH)4? aluminate ions. Therefore future benefits could be reached by developing such surfaces having charge accumulation that enables environmental interaction.  相似文献

Two new acyclic bis-guanidine alkaloids, unguiculins B-C (23), were isolated from a French Polynesian sponge Monanchora n. sp. together with the known compound unguiculin A (1). Their structures were established by spectroscopic data interpretation and comparison with the literature. Unguiculins A-C displayed antiproliferative and cytotoxic efficacy against several human cancer cells with IC50 values in the micromolar range.  相似文献

Methyl 2-(thiazol-2-ylcarbamoyl)acetate was synthesized and used as starting material. It was treated with hydrazine hydrate to afford the hydrazide, which was reacted with nitromethane and formaldehyde to give the saturated nitropyrimidine. The hydrazide was reacted with phenyl isothiocyanate to afford the thiosemicarbazide, which was cyclized with ethyl bromoacetate, sodium hydroxide, or sulfuric acid to afford N-phenylthiazolidinone, N-phenyltriazole, and thiadiazolyl derivatives. The methyl 2-(thiazol-2-ylcarbamoyl)acetate was coupled with diazonium salts of aniline, 4-chloroaniline, 4-bromoaniline, or 4-aminobenzenesulfonamide to afford the carbamoyl acetates, which were reacted with 2-aminobenzimidazole, 1,2,4,5-tetrachlorophthalic anhydride, and hydrazine hydrate to afford the corresponding thiazolylmalonamide, tetrachloroisoindolylimide, and tri-azole derivatives. Schiff bases and imides are newly synthesized candidates obtained via simple condensation of the hydrazide with aldehydes, 2,3-pyridinedicarboxylic anhydride, or 1,8-naphthalenedicarboxylic anhydride. The pharmacological screening showed that many of these compounds have good antihypertensive α-blocking activity and low toxicity. Correspondence: Abd El-Galil E. Two novel potentiometric polymeric membrane sensors for rapid and accurate determination of thorium are described. These are based on the use of trioctylphosphine oxide (TOPO) and thorium toluate (Th‐TA) as ionophores dispersed in poly(vinyl chloride) matrix membranes plasticized with nitrophenyloctyl ether. In strong nitric acid medium, Th(IV) nitrate is converted into [Th(NO3)6]2? complex and sensed as anionic divalent ion which exclude most cationic effect. Validation of the assay methods using the quality assurance standards (linearity range, accuracy, precision, within‐day variability, between‐day‐repeatability, lower detection limit and sensitivity) reveals excellent performance characteristics of both sensors. The sensors exhibit near‐Nernstian response for 1.0×10?6–1.0×10?1 M Th over the pH range 2.5–4.5. Calibration slopes of ?32.3±0.3 and ?27.2±0.2 mV/decade, precision of ±0.5 and ±0.8% and accuracy of 98.8±0.9 and 97.9±0.7% are obtained with TOPO and Th‐TA based sensors, respectively. Negligible interferences are caused by most interfering mono‐, di‐, tri‐, tetra‐, penta‐, and hexa‐valent elements commonly associated with thorium in naturally occurring minerals and ores. High concentrations of Cl?, F?, SO42?, and NO3? ions have no diverse effect. Complete removal of the effect of the interferents in complex matrices is achieved by retention of [Th(NO3)6]2? complex from 5 M nitric acid/methanol mixture (1 : 9 v/v) on a strong anion exchanger, washing out the cationic interferents followed by stripping off thorium anion complex and measurements. Both sensors are used for determining thorium in certified thorium ore samples (20–120 mg Th/kg) and some naturally occurring ores (200–600 mg Th/kg). The results obtained agree fairly well with the certified labeled values or the data obtained using X‐ray fluorescence spectrometry  相似文献

An efficient one‐pot asymmetric synthesis of pyrazoles bearing a chiral quaternary stereocenter has been developed. Quinine‐derived thiourea catalyzed the enantioselective addition of pyrazolones to isatin‐derived ketimines, providing the corresponding acetylated pyrazoles after in situ treatment with Ac2O/Et3N. The corresponding pyrazoles were afforded in high yields and excellent enantioselectivities.  相似文献
