Root rot is one of the most significant soil and seed-borne fungal diseases, limiting the cultivation of fenugreek plants. Endophytic bacteria and their natural bioproducts have emerged as growth promoters and disease suppressors in the current era. Despite limited research, seeds are a good funder of endophytic microbiomes, which are transmitted from them to other seedling parts, thereby providing a shield against biotic and abiotic anxiety and promoting the growth at early germination and later stages. The current study evaluated the hypothesis that seed endophytic bacteria and their lytic enzymes, growth promotors, and antifungal molecules can induce growth, and inhibit root rot disease development at the same time. The isolation trial from fenugreek seeds revealed a lytic Achromobacter sp., which produces indole acetic acid, has antifungal compounds (e.g., 2-Butanol, 3,3’-oxybis-), and reduces the growth of Rhizoctonia solani by 43.75%. Under the greenhouse and natural field conditions, bacterial cells and/or supernatant improved the growth, physiology, and yield performance of fenugreek plants, and effectively suppressed the progress of root rot disease; this is the first extensive study that uses a new seed-borne endophytic bacterium as a plant-growth-promoting, and biocontrol tool against the sclerotia-forming; R. solani; the causative of fenugreek root rot. 相似文献

Organic dyes with enduring colors which are malodorous are a significant source of environmental deterioration due to their virulent effects on aquatic life and lethal carcinogenic effects on living organisms. In this study, the adsorption of methyl green (MG), a cationic dye, was achieved by using ZIF-67, which has been deemed an effective adsorbent for the removal of contaminants from wastewater. The characterization of ZIF-67 was done by FTIR, XRD, and SEM analysis. The adsorption mechanism and characteristics were investigated with the help of control batch experiments and theoretical studies. The systematical kinetic studies and isotherms were sanctioned with a pseudo-second-order model and a Langmuir model (R2 = 0.9951), confirming the chemisorption and monolayer interaction process, respectively. The maximum removal capacities of ZIF-67 for MG was 96% at pH = 11 and T = 25 °C. DFT calculations were done to predict the active sites in MG by molecular electrostatic potential (MEP). Furthermore, both Molecular dynamics and Monte Carlo simulations were also used to study the adsorption mechanism. 相似文献

In this paper, the problems of robust exponential generalized and robust exponential Q-S chaos synchronization are investigated between different dimensional chaotic systems. We consider the more practical and realistic cases when unknown time varying parameters with uncertainties, environmental disturbances, and nonlinearity of input control signals are present. The adaptive technique is employed to design the appropriate controllers and the validity of the proposed controllers are proved using Lyapunov stability theorem. We derive a nonnegative extension of the affine demand function for differentiated substitute products from the optimization problem facing a representative consumer whose utility function is quadratic. We show that the extended demand function reduces to a linear program. The linear program has a simple intuitive interpretation in terms of a shifted price vector. We prove the existence and uniqueness of the Bertrand equilibrium in oligopolies consisting of multiproduct firms under the proposed demand function. The equilibrium, available in closed form, coincides with that obtained when allowing negative demands. 相似文献

A new series of Cu2+, Pt4+, Pd2+, Au3+ and Nd3+ complexes derived from 2‐(pyridin‐1‐ium‐1‐yl) acetate have been synthesized and characterized using elemental analyses, spectral (infrared (IR), UV–visible, mass, 13C NMR and 1H NMR), magnetic and thermal measurements. IR results suggest that the ligand acts in a neutral monodentate fashion in all complexes. Octahedral geometry is proposed for Cu2+ and Pt4+ complexes and square‐planar for Pd2+ and Au3+ complexes. The bond lengths, bond angles, and HOMO and LUMO were calculated. Superoxide dismutase‐like radical scavenger activity and cytotoxic activity of the isolated complexes on HepG2 liver cancer cells have been screened. Ligand and complexes (Pt4+ and Nd3+) exhibit potent antioxidant activity upon coordination while Cu2+ and Au3+ complexes do not show superoxide dismutase‐like radical scavenger activity. The cytotoxic activity assay against HepG2 cell line proves that the ligand and its Pt4+ complex have a high cytotoxic activity, while the other complexes showed no cytotoxic activity.
