The stereoselective synthesis of (+)-goniodiol, a cytotoxic styryllactone, has been accomplished in 10 steps starting from inexpensive and readily available d-manitol and δ-gluconolactone involving the direct and straightforward reaction conditions of Grignard addition, chain elongation, and hydroboration, thus making the synthesis simple and convenient.  相似文献

An easy,safe,solvent free and effective method for the synthesis of pyrazole-substituted chalcones has been achieved by grinding pyrazole aldehydes and acetophenones in the presence of activated barium hydroxide(C-200) in high yield within short span of time.All reactions were carried out just by grinding the two reactants in the presence of activated barium hydroxide(C-200). Tissue equivalent (TE) lyoluminescence (LL) dosimetry requires practical amount of phosphor for dissolution, typically 5-30 mg. Pronounced mass quenching effect has been observed even in the region of 5 mg, in the cases of LL of lactose-monohydrate, d-glucose, d-mannose, raffinose, sucrose and 1-glutamine. Ordinary concentration-quenching is non-existent but yield per mg falls rapidly with increasing mass of the phosphor. The curves have been fitted with a self-absorption type formula. A well-recognised dose effect is present in quenching curves. The role of free radicals at high radiation doses has been discussed in the contribution of dose effect in quenching.  相似文献

Density functional theory (DFT) calculations and experiments in tandem led to discoveries of new reactivities and selectivities involving bioorthogonal sydnone cycloadditions. Dibenzocyclooctyne derivatives (DIBAC and BARAC) were identified to be especially reactive dipolarophiles, which undergo the (3 + 2) cycloadditions with N-phenyl sydnone with the rate constant of up to 1.46 M–1 s–1. Most significantly, the sydnone-dibenzocyclooctyne and norbornene-tetrazine cycloadditions were predicted to be mutually orthogonal. This was validated experimentally and used for highly selective fluorescence labeling of two proteins simultaneously.  相似文献

A method of all optical frequency encoded single bit memory unit is proposed and described using difference frequency generation only in non linear materials. The unit can store a single bit in frequency encoded format and thus maintains the same state when input is withdrawn. To change the state of the information of the memory unit the input should be changed. The proposed memory unit employs difference frequency generation for its operation and is very fast, the speed of operation is limited by the difference frequency generation process.  相似文献

In the present work zinc ferrite nanoparticles of different crystallite size were irradiated with 200 MeV Ag15+ ion beam. The structural and magnetic characterization performed for these samples indicate the presence of size dependent irradiation induced changes in the nanoparticles. The superparamgnetic nanoparticles do not alter their behavior after irradiation; however paramagnetic samples exhibit weak ferrimagnetism in the irradiated specimen. Results obtained from these measurements are in agreement with results obtained from the electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy.  相似文献
