Kinetics of the fluorescence of poly(N-vinylcarbazole) and poly(N-vinylcarbazole) with 2,4,7-trinitrofluorenone in the solid state

The fluorescence decay time measurements by the stroboscopic method have been made on films of amorphous poly(N-vinylcarbazole) (PVCA) and PVCA doped with 2,4,7-trinitrofluorenone (TNF). The obtained lifetimes of two excimer species have at 77 K and at 300 K values of about 43 ns and 9 ns, which are similar to other measurements. The kinetics of excimer fluorescence and energy transfer in PVCA films are described by a simple model of the Stern-Volmer type. It assumes the fast migration of localized singlet excitons and their trapping in two species of excimer traps.We propose a modified kinetic model for films of PVCA with TNF. In this model we assume besides the exciton migration and trapping on excimer and impurity traps also the direct energy transfer from two excimer species to charge transfer complexes of PVCA with TNF by the Förster dipole-dipole mechanism. The estimated critical distance of this transfer are about 10 Å.     

Plasma acceleration in a wave with varying frequency

The averaged velocity of a test particle and the averaged velocity of a plasma in an electro-magnetic wave packet with varying frequency (e.g., a radiation pulse from pulsar) is derived. The total momentum left by the wave packet in regions of plasma inhomogeneity is found. If the plasma concentration is changing due to ionization, the plasma may be accelerated parallelly or antiparallelly to the direction of the wave packet propagation, which is relevant for a laser induced breakdown in gas.The author thanks R.Klíma for numerous discussions.     

门电压控制的硅烯量子线中电子输运性质

硅烯是由单层硅原子形成的二维蜂窝状晶格结构,具有石墨烯类似的电学性质,由于硅烯中存在比较强的自旋轨道耦合而备受关注.本文利用非平衡格林函数方法研究了门电压控制的硅烯量子线中电子输运性质和能带结构.研究发现,只有在较强的门电压下,而且硅烯量子线具有较好的锯齿形或扶手椅形边界而不存在额外硅原子时,硅烯量子线中才存在无能隙的自旋极化边缘态.另外,计算结果表明这种门电压控制的硅烯量子线中边缘态在每个能谷处自旋是极化的.这些计算结果将为实验上利用电场制作硅烯纳米结构提供理论支持.     

On path integrals and relativistic quantum mechanics

3-芳亚甲基联氨羰基-5-(对位取代苯基)-吡唑衍生物的 合成、结构和生物活性

以4-取代苯乙酮及草酸二乙酯为起始原料, 设计合成了20个新的3-芳亚甲基联氨羰基-5-(对位取代苯基)-吡唑衍生物, 产率较高. 所合成的化合物经元素分析, IR, 1H NMR对其结构进行了表征, 化合物4b, 4h还通过X-ray单晶衍射进一步确证了其结构. 初步生物活性实验结果表明, 所合成的化合物对绿豆发芽过程有着较好的生长调节作用.     

The Gelfand-Levitan equation and its application to the scattering of neutrons on protons

The Gelfand-Levitan equation for the kernelP(r, r) (withrr) is formulated and then applied for determining the scattering potential in the scattering of slow neutrons on protons (for the case when the dependence of the nuclear forces on the spins can be neglected and onlys-scattering need be considered). The potentials obtained are the same as the Bargmann ones, found by a different method.

The luminescence efficiency of YAG: Ce phosphors

The luminescence intensity of Yttrium aluminium garnet activated by the Ce³⁺ (YAGCe³⁺) under cathode-ray excitation depends on the preparation method and content of some dopants. Samples containing Fe, Pt, Ir or some colour centre, respectively, show relatively low luminescence. The maximum luminescence intensity was obtained with the Czochralski method grown single crystals in 98% Ar+2% H₂ atmosphere which were sensitized by oxygen annealing followed by treatment at 1500 °C in molybdenum container using a wet hydrogen atmosphere.     

Mappings of Ruled Surfaces in Simply Isotropic Space <Emphasis Type="Italic">I</Emphasis><Subscript>3</Subscript><Superscript>1</Superscript> that Preserve the Generators

In this paper we study some mappings of skew ruled surfaces in simply isotropic space which preserve the generators. We study isometries, conformal mappings and mappings which preserve the area. Extremal Values of L-Functions Associated with Newforms in the Half-Plane of Absolute Convergence

We prove estimates for extremal values of L-functions associated with newforms f in the half-plane of absolute convergence of their Dirichlet series expansion. The proof is based on an effective version of Kronecker's approximation theorem and estimates for the Fourier coefficients of the newform f.
