A binary mixture of oppositely charged particles with additional short-range attraction between like particles and short-range repulsion between different ones in the neighborhood of a substrate preferentially adsorbing the first component is studied by molecular dynamics simulations. The studied thermodynamic states correspond to an approach to the gas–crystal coexistence. Dependence of the near-surface structure, adsorption and selective adsorption on the strength of the wall–particle interactions and the gas density is determined. We find that alternating layers or bilayers of particles of the two components are formed, but the number of the adsorbed layers, their orientation and the ordered patterns formed inside these layers could be quite different for different substrates and gas density. Different structures are associated with different numbers of adsorbed layers, and for strong attraction the thickness of the adsorbed film can be as large as seven particle diameters. In all cases, similar amount of particles of the two components is adsorbed, because of the long-range attraction between different particles. 相似文献

Powders of Sm0.6Sr0.4CoO3-δ and La0.6Sr0.4CoO3-δ were synthesized using wet chemical technique. Structural and surface properties of synthesized materials were studied by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), X-ray diffraction (XRD), IR spectroscopy, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The influence of pH on the phase state, chemical composition, morphology, and fractal dimension of the synthesized powders were investigated. It was found that the change of pH has the influence on phase composition of synthesized powders. The photochemical stability of poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) (PVP) in the presence of 1%, 3% and 5% of collagen has been studied by UV-vis spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), thermogravimetry analysis (TG) and derivative thermogravimetry (DTG). Surface properties have been studied by contact angle measurements. PVP samples and samples containing 1%, 3% and 5% of collagen were irradiated with UV light of wavelength λ = 254 nm in air for up to 24 h. The amount of gel created during UV irradiation was estimated.PVP in the presence of 1%, 3% and 5% of collagen is less stable both thermally and photochemically. Collagen enhances photochemical processes leading to crosslinking of PVP. The contact angle measurements and values of surface free energy showed that the wettability of PVP films was changed by the addition of collagen and by UV irradiation. The increase of polarity of samples indicates an efficient photooxidation on the surface upon UV irradiation. 相似文献

Modern progress in photopharmocology calls for new generation of compounds joining bioactivity, photoswitchable properties and high selectivity of response to light wavelength. Introduced here, phosphonate–fullerene hybrids are the first representatives of such compounds. Phosphonate–fullerene hybrids were synthesized on a base of fullerene C60 and organophosphates with the function of photoswitchable cholinesterase activity—phosphorylated thiazolotriazole and aminomalonate compounds and studied with FTIR, UV–VIS spectroscopy and IPC-micro neurotoxin amperometric analysis. As a result of spectroscopic and bioactivity characterization, it was not only demonstrated butyrylcholinesterase (BuChE) inhibition increase in phosphonate–fullerene hybrids compared with pure phosphonates but also pronounced response of inhibition degree to laser irradiation of hybrids. It was found opposite behavior of hybrids as a result of laser irradiation—BuChE inhibition drop-off for thiazolotriazole–fullerene and pronounced growth for aminomalonate–fullerene. The other remarkable peculiarity of presented phosphonate–fullerene hybrids is high selectivity of inhibition change degree to laser wavelength (266 or 325 nm). 相似文献
