Thin films of tin sulphide (SnS) were deposited on tin oxide conducting glass substrates by thermal evaporation technique. The transmission spectrum of the SnS film in the wavelength range from 300 to 1100 nm has been obtained. X-ray diffraction has been used to determine the structure of the films. The film thickness and refractive index have been estimated from the transmission spectra. The results showed that the refractive index of the SnS thin films is thickness independent in the wavelength range 590  λ  1100 nm and found to be ~ 1.72. This result indicates that the SnS thin films are homogeneous and isotropic. The energy band gaps were found to be between 1.06 and 1.32 eV, which is in good agreement with literature values. The energy dependence of the obtained refractive index is also investigated.  相似文献

A new validated potentiometric method is described for batch and continuous quality control monitoring of the drug oseltamivir phosphate (Taminil) (OST). The method involves the development of a potentiometric sensor responsive to the drug based on the use of the ion‐association complex of (OST+) cation with phosphomolybdate anion (PMA?) as an electroactive material in a poly(vinyl chloride) matrix membrane plasticized with o‐nitrophenyloctyl ether (o‐NPOE). Optimization of the performance characteristics of the sensor is described. A membrane incorporating the OST‐PMA‐NPOE complex in a tubular flow through detector is used in a two channel flow injection set up for continuous monitoring of the drug at a frequency of ~30 samples h?1. The sensor shows fast near‐Nernstian response for OST over the concentration range 5.2×10?5–0.8×10?2 M (21.34 µg mL?1–3.23 mg mL?1) with a detection limit of 9.1×10?6 M (3.73 µg mL?1) over the pH range 4.6–6.1. The sensor displays good selectivity for OST drug over some basic drugs, inorganic cations, excipients and diluents commonly used in the drug formulations. Validation of the assay method is tested by measuring the lower detection limit, range, linearity, bias, trueness, accuracy, precision, and between‐day‐variability, within day reproducibility, selectivity and ruggedness (robustness). The results reveal good potentiometric performance of the proposed sensor for determination of OST in pharmaceutical capsules and in biological fluid matrices as well as for testing the dissolution profile of the drug and drug homogeneity.  相似文献

Shallot landraces and varieties are considered an important genetic resource for Allium breeding due to their high contents of several functional metabolites. Aiming to provide new genetic materials for the development of a novel bulb onion cultivar derived from intraspecific hybrids with useful agronomic traits from shallots, the metabolic profiles in the bulbs of 8 Indonesian shallot landraces and 7 short-day and 3 long-day bulb onion cultivars were established using LC–Q-TOF-MS/MS. Principal component analysis, partial least squares discriminant analysis, and dendrogram clustering analysis showed two major groups; group I contained all shallot landraces and group II contained all bulb onion cultivars, indicating that shallots exhibited a distinct metabolic profile in comparison with bulb onions. Variable importance in the projection and Spearman’s rank correlation indicated that free and conjugated amino acids, flavonoids (especially metabolites having flavonol aglycone), and anthocyanins, as well as organic acids, were among the top metabolite variables that were highly associated with shallot landraces. The absolute quantification of 21 amino acids using conventional HPLC analysis showed high contents in shallots rather than in bulb onions. The present study indicated that shallots reprogrammed their metabolism toward a high accumulation of amino acids and flavonoids as an adaptive mechanism in extremely hot tropical environments.  相似文献

Breast cancer is one of the most prevalent cancers worldwide usually treated with Tamoxifen. Tamoxifen resistance development is the most challenging issue in an initially responsive breast tumor, and mechanisms of resistance are still under investigation. The objective of this study is to develop and validate a selective, sensitive, and simultaneous high performance liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry method to explore the changes in substrates and metabolites in supernatant media of developed Tamoxifen resistance MCF-7 cells. We focus on the determination of lactate, pyruvate, and L-glutamine which enables the tracking of changes in metabolic pathways as a result of the resistance process. Chromatographic separation was achieved within 3.5 min. using a HILIC column (4.6 × 100 mm, 3.5 µm particle size) and mobile phase of 0.05 M acetic acid–ammonium acetate buffer solution pH 3.0: Acetonitrile (40:60 v/v). The linear range was 0.11–2.25, 0.012–0.227, and 0.02–0.20 mM for lactate, pyruvate, and L-glutamine, respectively. Within- and between-run accuracy was in the range 98.94-105.50% with precision (CV, %) of ≤0.86%. The results revealed a significant increase in both lactate and pyruvate production after acquiring the resistant. An increase in L-glutamine levels was also observed and could be attributed to its over production or decline in its consumption. Therefore, further tracking of genes responsible of lactate, pyruvate, and glutamine metabolic pathways should be performed in parallel to provide in-depth explanation of resistance mechanism.  相似文献

In this study, a new synthetic 1,2,3-triazole-containing disulfone compound was derived from dapsone. Its chemical structure was confirmed using microchemical and analytical data, and it was tested for its in vitro antibacterial potential. Six different pathogenic bacteria were selected. MICs values and ATP levels were determined. Further, toxicity performance was measured using MicroTox Analyzer. In addition, a molecular docking study was performed against two vital enzymes: DNA gyrase and Dihydropteroate synthase. The results of antibacterial abilities showed that the studied synthetic compound had a strong bactericidal effect against all tested bacterial strains, as Gram-negative species were more susceptible to the compound than Gram-positive species. Toxicity results showed that the compound is biocompatible and safe without toxic impact. The molecular docking of the compound showed interactions within the pocket of two enzymes, which are able to stabilize the compound and reveal its antimicrobial activity. Hence, from these results, this study recommends that the established compound could be an outstanding candidate for fighting a broad spectrum of pathogenic bacterial strains, and it might therefore be used for biomedical and pharmaceutical applications.  相似文献

Novel structural hybrids of benzofuran–oxadiazole and benzofuran–triazole have been synthesized and evaluated for their potential against Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, and Escherichia coli. The excellent antibiotic activity was shown by compounds 5c and 9c against S. aureus with minimum inhibitory concentration values in 1.74–5.16 mg/mL range. The estimation of in vitro antifungal activity of synthetic compounds was performed against Trichoderma harzianum, Aspergillus niger, and Metarhizium anisopliae. Among compounds 5a – 5j , only 5h and 5i showed promising antifungal potential against T. harzianum and A. niger, whereas compound 5j showed enhanced antifungal effect only against A. niger when their activity values were compared with standard drug amphotericin. No pronounced antifungal activity was shown by synthesized compounds 9a–j , except for compound 9g , which was active against all fungal strains having minimum inhibitory concentration values in 1.90–2.03 mg/mL range. In addition to antimicrobial evaluation, the synthesized compounds were also analyzed to study their effects on the catalytic potential of laccase, and it was found that among all, compound 9b showed very strong activity with maximum relative reactivity of 145% at 0.03‐mM concentration.  相似文献

The quaternary halide Cs2AgCrCl6 was prepared in the form of dark purple crystals by reaction of CsCl, AgCl, and CrCl3, at 700 °C. It crystallizes in the trigonal Ba2NiTeO6‐type structure [space group R3 m, Z = 6, a = 7.2692(4) Å, c = 36.443(2) Å] belonging to the family of perovskite polytypes containing sequences of hexagonal close‐packed layers. Groups of three face‐sharing octahedra, which are occupied in the sequence Ag–Cr–Ag, are connected through corner‐sharing by Cr‐centered octahedra. The UV/Vis/NIR diffuse reflectance spectrum shows absorptions arising from d–d transitions typical of octahedral Cr3+ complexes, as confirmed by electronic structure calculations. The compound melts at 506 °C. Magnetic measurements revealed simple paramagnetic behavior consistent with the presence of isolated Cr3+ ions.  相似文献
