Peptide drug discovery often benefits from the large structural diversity permitted by unnatural amino acids (UAAs). Indeed, numerous approved peptide drugs include UAAs in their sequences. Therefore, innovative chemical approaches either to synthesize UAAs or to allow late-stage functionalization of peptides are emerging themes in peptide drug discovery. Thanks to the recent advances in deaminative strategies using alkylpyridiniums salts, often referred to as Katritzky salts, a variety of radical alkylation methods have been developed. In recent years the use of Katritzky salts have become popular in peptide chemistry due to their ease of preparation from a primary amine, which is a predominant functional group in amino acids. This review highlights the progress that has been made by using Katritzky salts in the synthesis of UAAs, late-stage peptide functionalization, and peptide macrocyclization.  相似文献

A multicomponent electrochemical sensor, with two nanometer-scale components in sensing matrix/electrode, was used to simultaneous determination of levodopa (LD) and tyramine (TR) in pharmaceutical and diet samples. Multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were used as carbonaceous materials in the electrode construction. 5-amino-3',4'-dimethoxy-biphenyl-2-ol (5ADMB) was used as electron mediator and Pt nanoparticles (nPt) as a catalyst. The 5ADMB catalyzes the oxidation of LD to the corresponding catecholamine, which is electrochemically reduced back to LD. Preparation of this electrode was very simple and modified electrode showed good properties at electrocatalytic oxidization of LD and TR. Using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), a highly selective and simultaneous determination of LD and TR has been explored at the modified electrode. Differential pulse voltammetry peak currents of LD and TR increased linearly with their concentrations at the ranges of 0.50–100.0 μM and 0.60–100.0 μM, respectively. Also, the detection limits for LD and TR were 0.31 and 0.52 μM, respectively. The electrode exhibited an efficient catalytic response with good reproducibility and stability.  相似文献

The following organic and organic–inorganic hybrid compounds were prepared as photo-luminescent materials following efficient and practical synthetic methods: 1,3-bis[4-(n-alkoxy)phenyl]-2-propen-1-one (where, n-alkoxy: O(CH2)nH, n = 6,7,8,9 or 10); 3,5-bis[4-(n-alkoxy)phenyl]-1H-pyrazole (where, n-alkoxy: O(CH2)nH, n = 6,7,8,9 or 10) (in case of n = 7, a mixture of 3,5-bis(4-heptyloxyphenyl)-1H-pyrazole and 3,5-bis(4-heptyloxyphenyl)-4H-pyrazole was detected) and bis(3,5-bis [4-(n-alkoxy) phenyl]-1H-pyrazole) silver(I) nitrate (where, n-alkoxy: O(CH2)nH, n = 6,7,8,9 or 10). The prepared compounds have been characterised and their structures were elucidated depending upon (FTIR, UV-Vis, 1HNMR, 13CNMR, 2D 1H-1H-COSY, 2D 1H-13C-HSQC and mass spectra) in addition to molar conductivity measurements for silver(I) complexes. The mesomorphism behaviour of the prepared compounds was studied using polarised light optical microscopy and confirmed with differential scanning calorimetry and X-ray powder diffraction techniques. The studies showed that among all of these compounds only the pyrazole derivatives are liquid crystal materials. The luminescent properties of all the prepared compounds were also investigated which confirmed that all of these compounds are photo-luminescent in the crystalline solid state and in the mesophase.  相似文献

Many reports exist in the literature about the application of 1H and 13C‐NMR techniques to analyze the copolymer structure and composition and also determination of reactivity ratios. In this work, on‐line 1H‐NMR spectroscopy has been applied to identify reactivity ratios of itaconic acid and acrylonitrile in the solution phase (DMSO as the solvent) and in the presence of AIBN as the radical initiator. All the peaks corresponding to the existing protons were assigned quietly. Therefore, the kinetics of the copolymerization reaction was investigated by studying the variation of integral of two characteristic peaks regarding each monomer. The obtained data were used to find the reactivity ratios of acrylonitrile and itaconic acid by linear least‐squares methods such as Finemann‐Ross, inverted Finemann‐Ross, Mayo‐Lewis, Kelen‐Tudos, extended Kelen‐Tudos and Mao‐Huglin. In addition, a non‐linear least‐square method (Tidwell‐ Mortimer) was used at low conversions. Extended Kelen‐ Tudos and Mao‐Huglin were applied to determine reactivity ratio values at high conversions as well.  相似文献

Well‐defined graft copolymers with styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) backbones and polystyrene branches were synthesized by living free radical polymerization (LFRP) techniques. Thus 1‐ benzoyl‐2‐phenyl‐2‐(2′,2′,6′,6′‐tetramethyl‐piperidinyl‐1′‐oxy)ethane (BZ‐TEMPO) was synthesized and hydrolyzed to the corresponding 1‐hydroxyl derivative. This functional nitroxyl compound was coupled with brominated SBR (SBR‐Br). The resulting macroinitiator (SBR‐TEMPO) for “living” free radical polymerization was then heated in the presence of styrene for the formation of the controlled graft copolymer. 1H‐NMR and IR spectroscopy were used to investigate the structure of the polymers. A series of β‐hydroxynitriles were efficiently synthesized from the regioselective ring opening of oxiranes by cyanide anion in the presence of silica‐bound 3‐{2‐[poly(ethylene glycol)]ethyl}‐substituted 1‐methyl‐1H‐imidazol‐3‐ium bromide (SiO2? PEG? ImBr) as a novel recoverable phase‐transfer catalyst in H2O (Scheme 1 and Table 2). The workup procedure was straightforward, and the catalyst could be reused over four times with almost no loss of catalytic activity and selectivity.  相似文献

A new electrochemical sensor based on Fe3O4@SiO2‐PANI‐Au nanocomposite was fabricated for modification of glassy carbon electrode (Fe3O4@SiO2‐PANI‐Au GCE). The Fe3O4@SiO2‐PANI‐Au nanocomposite was characterized by TEM, FESEM‐EDS‐Mapping, XRD, and TGA methods. The Fe3O4@SiO2‐PANI‐Au GC electrode exhibited an acceptable sensitivity, fast electrochemical response, and good selectivity for determination of quercetin. Under optimal conditions, the linear range for quercetin concentrations using this sensor was 1.0×10?8 to 1.5×10?5 mol L?1, and the limit of detection was 3.8×10?9 mol L?1. The results illustrated that the offered sensor could be a possible alternative for the measurement of quercetin in food samples and biological fluids.  相似文献

Summary The synergistic mixture comprising picrolonic acid (HPA) and benzo-15-crown-5 (B15C5) in chloroform has been used for the extraction of Ce(III), Eu(III) and Tm(III) as representatives of lanthanide(III) ions from pH 1-2 solutions having ionic strength of 0.1 mol. dm-3(K+/H+, Cl-). The composition of the extracted species has been determined as M(PA)3. nB15C5 where M is Ce, Eu and Tm and n=1 or 2. The influence of various anions and cations on the extraction of these ions has also been studied and only oxalate, cyanide and tartrate have some deleterious effect. The extraction equilibrium constants have been evaluated and discussed.  相似文献
