2-(Arylazo)pyridine ligands, L1a-1c react with the salt K2[PtCl4] to give the mononuclear complexes [PtCl2(L1)](1), which readily react with ArNH2 to yield the monochloro complexes of type [PtCl(L2)](HL2= 2-[(2-(arylamino)phenyl)azo]pyridine)(2) via regioselective ortho-amine fusion at the pendent aryl ring of coordinated L1. Oxidative addition of the electrophiles Y2(Y = Cl, Br, I) to the square-planar platinum(II) complex, has led to syntheses of the corresponding octahedral platinum(IV) complexes, [PtY3(L2)](3) in high yields. Ascorbate ion reductions of the platinum(IV) complexes, , resulted in reductive halogen elimination to revert to the platinum(II) complexes almost quantitatively. Isolation of products and X-ray structure determination of the representative complexes followed all these chemical reactions. In crystal packing, the compound [PtCl2(L1c)](1c) forms dimeric units with a Pt...Pt distance of 3.699(1) A. In contrast, the crystal packing of 2b revealed that the molecules are arranged in an antiparallel fashion to form a noncovalent 1D chain to accommodate pi(aryl)-pi(pyridyl) and Pt-pi(aryl) interactions. Notably, the oxidation of [Pt(II)Cl(L2a)](2a) by I2 produced a mixed halide complex [Pt(IV)ClI2(L2a)](5), which, in turn, is reduced by ascorbate ion to produce [Pt(II)I(L2a)] with the elimination of ClI. All the platinum(II) complexes are brown, the platinum(IV) complexes, on the other hand, are green. Low-energy visible range transitions in the complexes of the extended ligand [L2]- are ascribed to ligand basedpi-pi* transitions. Cyclic voltammetric behaviour of the complexes is reported. 相似文献

Summary The ligand 3-azabicyclo[3.2.2]nonane-3-thiocarboxylic acid 2-[1-(2-pyridinyl)ethylidene]hydrazide (HL), which is observed in an unusual tautomeric form in the solid state, and its selenium analogue (HLSe) have been used to prepare a series of nickel(II) complexes. Compounds of the general formula [NiLX] (X=Cl, Br, NCS, N3, NO2 or NCSe) as well as [Ni(LSe)Cl] have been found to be diamagnetic, planar complexes. A single crystal study of [NiL(NCS)] shows the deprotonated ligand bound in a tridentate mannervia its pyridyl nitrogen, imine nitrogen and the thione sulphur atom with the nitrogen atom of the thiocyanato-ligand occupying the fourth coordination position. The solids prepared from the nickel(II) salts having tetrafluoroborate, nitrate and iodide ions approximate to octahedral symmetry and have neutral HL ligands coordinated in a bidentate fashionvia the pyridine and imine nitrogens with the remaining coordination sites being occupied by the anions or water molecules. The [NiL2] solid is also octahedral with the two deprotonated ligands bonding as tridentate groupsvia the same atoms as in the [NiLX] complexes. 相似文献

The reaction in water of the N-benzyliminodiacetate-copper(II) chelate ([Cu(NBzIDA)]) and the adenine:thymine base pair complex (AdeH:ThyH) with a Cu/NBzIDA/AdeH/ThyH molar ratio of 2:2:1:1 yields [Cu(2)(NBzIDA)(2)(H(2)O)(2)(mu-N7,N9-Ade(N3)H)].3H(2)O and free ThyH. The compound has been studied by thermal, spectral, and X-ray diffraction methods. In the asymmetric dinuclear complex units both Cu(II) atoms exhibit a square pyramidal coordination, where the four closest donors are supplied by NBzIDA in a mer-tridentate conformation and the N7 or N9 donors of AdeH, which is protonated at N3. The mu-N7,N9 bridge represents a new coordination mode for nonsubstituted AdeH, except for some adeninate(1-)-[methylmercury(II)] derivatives studied earlier. The dinuclear complex is stabilized by the Cu-N7 and Cu-N9 bonds and N6-H(exocyclic)...O(carboxyl) and N3-H(heterocyclic)...O(carboxyl) interligand interactions, respectively. The structure of the new compound differs from that of the mononuclear compound [Cu(NBzIDA)(Ade(N9)H)(H(2)O)].H(2)O, in which the unusual Cu-N3(AdeH) bond is stabilized by a N9-H...O(carboxyl) interligand interaction and where alternating benzyl-AdeH intermolecular pi,pi-stacking interactions produce infinite stacked chains. Proteolytic antibodies appear to utilizecatalytic mechanisms akin to nonantibody serine proteases, assessed from mutagenesis
and protease-inhibitor studies. The catalytic efficiency derives substantially from the ability to recognize the ground state
with high affinity. Because the proteolytic activity is germline-encoded, catalysts with specificity for virtually any target
polypeptide could potentially be developed by applying appropriate immunogens and selection strategies. Analysis of transition-state
stabilizing interactions suggests that chemical reactivity ofactive-site serine residues is an important contributor to catalysis.
A prototype antigen analog capable of reacting covalently with nucleophilic serine residues permitted enrichment of the catalysts
from a phage-displayed lupus light-chain library. Further mechanistic developments in understanding proteolytic antibodies
may lead to the isolation of catalysts suitable for passive immunotherapy of major diseases, and elicitation of catalytic

The stereochemical outcome of glycosylations with 2-azido-2-deoxy-D-gluco- and D-galactopyranosyl trichloroacetimidates as glycosyl donors has been investigated by using a series of chiro-inositol derivatives as glycosyl acceptors. The influence of the absolute configuration, the conformation and the conformational flexibility of the glycosyl acceptor has been studied by using different glycosyl donors under similar pre-established experimental conditions. Although the structure of the acceptor may play a role in governing the stereochemistry of these glycosylations, the results show that, in general terms, the relative influence of these factors is difficult to evaluate. For a given set of experimental conditions, the stereochemical course of these glycosylations depends on structural features of both glycosyl donor and glycosyl acceptor. It is a balance of these factors, where the structure of the glycosyl donor always plays a major role, which determines the stereochemistry of the coupling reaction. Therefore, the examples reported in the literature in which the structure of the glycosyl acceptor appears to be crucial in determining the stereochemistry of the reaction constitute particularly favorable cases which do not presently allow any further generalization. 相似文献

Reaction of chloranilic acid (H2ca) with [Os(bpy)2 Br2] (bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine) affords a dinuclear complex of type [{Os(bpy)2}2 (ca)]2+, isolated as the perchlorate salt. A similar reaction of H2ca with [Os(PPh3)2 (pap)Br2] (pap = 2-(phenylazo)pyridine) affords a dinuclear complex of type [{Os(PPh3)2 (pap)}2 (ca)]2+ (isolated as the perchlorate salt) and a mononuclear complex of type [Os(PPh3)2 (pap)(ca)]. Reaction of H2ca with [Os(PPh3)2(CO)2(HCOO)2] gives a dinuclear complex of type [{Os(PPh3)2(CO)2}2 (r-ca)], where r-ca is the two electron reduced form of the chloranilate ligand. The structures of the [{Os(PPh3)2 (pap)}2 (ca)](ClO4)2, [Os(PPh3)2 (pap)(ca)], and [{Os(PPh3)2(CO)2}2 (r-ca)] complexes have been determined by X-ray crystallography. In the [{Os(bpy)2}2 (ca)]2+ and [{Os(PPh3)2 (pap)}2 (ca)]2+ complexes, the chloranilate dianion is serving as a tetradentate bridging ligand. In the [Os(PPh3)2 (pap)(ca)] complex, the chloranilate dianion is serving as a bidentate chelating ligand. In the [{Os(PPh3)2(CO)2}2 (r-ca)] complex, the reduced form of the chloranilate ligand (r-ca(4-)) is serving as a tetradentate bridging ligand. All the four complexes are diamagnetic and show intense metal-to-ligand charge-transfer transitions in the visible region. The [Os(PPh3)2 (pap)(ca)] complex shows an Os(II)-Os(III) oxidation, followed by an Os(III)-Os(IV) oxidation on the positive side of a standard calomel electrode. The three dinuclear complexes show two successive oxidations on the positive side of SCE. The mixed-valent Os(II)-Os(III) species have been generated in the case of the two chloranilate-bridged complexes by coulometric oxidation of the homovalent Os(II)-Os(II) species. The mixed-valent Os(II)-Os(III) species show intense intervalence charge-transfer transitions in the near-IR region. 相似文献

The presence of excited-state buffer-mediated proton exchange reactions influences the steady-state fluorescence signals from dyes in solution. Since biomolecules in general have some chemical groups that can act as proton acceptors/donors and are usually dissolved in buffer solutions which can also behave as appropriate proton acceptors/donors, the excited-state proton exchange reactions may result in distorted steady-state fluorescence signals. In a previous paper (J. Phys. Chem. A 2005, 109, 734-747), we evaluated kinetic and other pertinent parameters for the excited-state proton reactions of the prototropic forms of 2',7'-difluorofluorescein (Oregon Green 488, OG488), recording a fluorescence decay surface at different pH values and acetate buffer concentrations, analyzed by means of global compartmental analysis. In this article we use the rate constants and the corrected pre-exponential factors from the previously recorded fluorescence decay traces to simulate the decay times and associated pre-exponentials at different acetate buffer concentrations and constant pH and compare these theoretically calculated values with new experimental data. We also calculate the steady-state fluorescence intensity vs pH and vs acetate buffer concentration (at constant pH) and compare these calculated emission values with the experimental data previously published. This paper studies the existence of invariant smooth Lagrangian graphs for Tonelli Hamiltonian systems with symmetries. In particular, we consider Tonelli Hamiltonians with n independent but not necessarily involutive constants of motion and obtain two theorems reminiscent of the Liouville-Arnol′d theorem. Moreover, we also obtain results on the structure of the configuration spaces of such systems that are reminiscent of results on the configuration space of completely integrable Tonelli Hamiltonians. 相似文献
