Towards Higgs boson production in gluon fusion to NNLO in the MSSM

We consider the Higgs boson production in the gluon-fusion channel to next-to-next-to-leading order within the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model. In particular, we present analytical results for the matching coefficient of the effective theory and study its influence on the total production cross section in the limit where the masses of all MSSM particles coincide. For supersymmetric masses below 500 GeV it is possible to find parameters leading to a significant enhancement of the Standard Model cross section, the K-factors, however, change only marginally.     

Guiding light at the nanoscale: numerical optimization of ultrasubwavelength metallic wire plasmonic waveguides

We present a comprehensive numerical analysis of the guiding of a photonic signal in the form of a strongly confined asymmetric surface plasmon polariton (SPP) mode along metallic nanowire waveguides. The proposed approach provides extremely high localization of the SPP mode, nanoscale integration density, and a feasible technological platform. The waveguide performance was studied over a broad range of subwavelength cross sections at a telecommunication wavelength. It was optimized using a conventional figure of merit for data transfer along a straight waveguide and an all-inclusive figure of merit has been introduced.     

Spherical particle Brownian motion in viscous medium as non-Markovian random process

The Brownian motion of a spherical particle in an infinite medium is described by the conventional methods and integral transforms considering the entrainment of surrounding particles of the medium by the Brownian particle. It is demonstrated that fluctuations of the Brownian particle velocity represent a non-Markovian random process. The features of Brownian motion in short time intervals and in small displacements are considered.     

The Number of Master Integrals is Finite

For a fixed Feynman graph one can consider Feynman integrals with all possible powers of propagators and try to reduce them, by linear relations, to a finite subset of integrals, the so-called master integrals. Up to now, there are numerous examples of reduction procedures resulting in a finite number of master integrals for various families of Feynman integrals. However, up to now it was just an empirical fact that the reduction procedure results in a finite number of irreducible integrals. It this paper we prove that the number of master integrals is always finite.     

Strongly regular nonsmooth generalized equations

This note presents an implicit function theorem for generalized equations, simultaneously generalizing Robinson’s implicit function theorem for strongly regular generalized equations and Clarke’s implicit function theorem for equations with Lipschitz-continuous mappings.     

1,3‐Dipolar cycloaddition of unstabilized N‐methyl azomethine ylide to nitrobenzene annelated with azoles

The 1,3‐dipolar cycloaddition of unstabilized N‐methyl azomethine ylide to mononitro benzazoles was studied. Depending on the nature of substituents and annelated azoles, the reaction affords previously unknown isoindole fused heterocyclic systems. The reactivity of the cycloadducts was examined. J. We investigate the relationship between the diagonal of the Fremlin projective tensor product of a Banach lattice E with itself and the 2-concavification of E.
