We perform a throughout numerical study of the average sensitivity to initial conditions and entropy production for two symplectically coupled standard maps focusing on the control-parameter region close to regularity. Although the system is ultimately strongly chaotic (positive Lyapunov exponents), it first stays lengthily in weak-chaotic regions (zero Lyapunov exponents). We argue that the nonextensive generalization of the classical formalism is an adequate tool in order to get nontrivial information about the first stage of this crossover phenomenon. Within this context we analyze the relation between the power-law sensitivity to initial conditions and the entropy production.  相似文献

Previous studies of magnetoinductive waves in homogeneous media with resonant elements consisting of capacitively loaded metallic loops are extended to the case when a single wave from one medium is incident upon another one. The relationship between the input and output angles and the reflection and transmission coefficients are determined with the aid of the dispersion equation for different scenarios. An expression is obtained for the power density vector, and it is shown that its component perpendicular to the boundary is conserved across the boundary. Using different configurations of the elements it is shown that both positive and negative refraction may occur.  相似文献

Relaxation of the Mo(112) and W(112) surfaces has been simulated within DFT in local density approximation. It has been found that the surface relaxation, which can be described as a 14% contraction of the topmost surface layer with a small (0.1%) shift of surface atomic rows, results in a strong decrease of the surface energy with respect to the bulk truncated crystal surfaces (from 0.2 to 0.17 eV/Å2 for the Mo(112) and from 0.36 to 0.33 eV/Å2 for the W(112)). The surface relaxation is accompanied by the redistribution of the surface density of states, associated with the transformations of surface states.  相似文献

The photoproduction of a neutral pion on the deuteron is considered in the energy region around the η threshold, where a bump-like structure was observed at very backward pion angles. Different dynamical aspects which may be responsible for this phenomenon are analysed within a theoretical frame which includes intermediate ηNN configurations. The results show, in particular, that a three-body treatment of the ηNN interaction is of special importance.  相似文献

Dynamical chiral-symmetry breaking (DCSB) in QCD is investigated in the Schwinger-Dyson (SD) formalism based on lattice QCD data. From the quenched lattice data for the quark propagator in the Landau gauge, we extract the SD integral kernel function, the product of the quark-gluon vertex and the polarization factor in the gluon propagator, in an Ansatz-independent manner. We find that the SD kernel function exhibits the characteristic behavior of nonperturbative physics, such as infrared vanishing and strong enhancement at the intermediate-energy region around p 0.6GeV. The infrared and intermediate energy region (0.4GeV < p < 1.5GeV) is found to be most relevant for DCSB from analysis on the relation between the SD kernel and the quark mass function. We apply the lattice-QCD-based SD equation to thermal QCD, and calculate the quark mass function at the finite temperature. Spontaneously broken chiral symmetry is found to be restored at high temperature above 110 MeV.  相似文献

We give a simple criterion for testing a behavior à la Edwards in certain zero-temperature, ferromagnetic spin-flip dynamics and use it to show that the limiting distributions of those dynamics do not coincide with the uniform distribution over the blocked configurations of the dynamics. Nanoporous SiO2 thin films with ultra-low dielectric constants were synthesized using a molecular template method. Uniform films with pore size between 10 and 20 nm were obtained as observed by N2 adsorption/desorption isotherms and transmission electron microscopy. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and differential thermal analysis were carried out to investigate the effect of n-hexane washing on structural properties before and after the surface modification process. The results showed that –OH bonds were substituted with –CH3 bonds in the films as a result of modification of trimethylchlorosilane (TMCS)/n-hexane solution. Four kinds of model were used to analyze the relationship between porosity and dielectric constant of the films, where the dielectric constant was determined from capacitance-voltage measurements. The investigation indicated that the corresponding relationship was in accord with that estimated by the Rayleigh model.  相似文献

Undoped, Be-doped and Si-doped polycrystalline GaN films were deposited by R.F. sputtering onto fused silica substrates. The films were deposited at various deposition temperatures ranging from 300 K to 623 K and characterized by optical measurements while the microstructural information was obtained from SEM and XRD studies. The compositional study for the GaN film was carried out using SIMS. Residual stresses in these films were evaluated from the band tail of the absorption spectra as well as from direct measurements of hardness by commercially available depth sensing indentometer. It was observed that undoped GaN films had the highest hardness followed by that for Be-doped and Si-doped films. The values of hardness obtained form the above optical measurement tallied quite well with those obtained from direct indentation measurement.  相似文献

We investigate the Hopf bifurcation of the synchronous chaos in coupled Lorenz oscillators. We find that the system undergoes a phase transition along the Hopf instability of the synchronous chaos. The phase transition makes the traveling wave component with the phase difference φ(i)-φ(i+1)=2π/N between adjacent sites unstable. The phase transition also plays a role to relate the Hopf bifurcation with the co-dimension two bifurcation of the synchronous chaos.  相似文献
