The diketone 2-fluoro-2-(trifluoromethyl)-1-phenylhexane-1,5-dione 3 was synthesized by a Mukaiyama Michael type reaction from the corresponding tetrafluoroenol silyl ether prepared from pentafluoropropiophenone. This diketone was treated under basic conditions and was converted, depending on the stoichiometry of the base, into the surprisingly stable ketol 4-fluoro-4-(trifluoromethyl)-3-hydroxy-3-phenylcyclohexanone 4 as a single diastereomer (catalytic KOH) or to the biphenylol 6-(trifluoromethyl)biphenyl-3-ol (excess KOH, THF) 5. Solvolysis of the trifluoromethyl group (anionic activation) occurred using excess KOH in alcohol. The corresponding cyclohexenone derivative 7, the usual product of Robinson annulation, might be prepared in good yield via mesylation of the ketol. Thus various unprecedented fluorinated cyclohexane and aromatic derivatives were achieved in a few steps from the commercially available pentafluoropropiophenone. 相似文献

The reactions of metastable [C5H10O]+ ˙ radical cations produced by ionization of 4-penten-1-ol are reported and discussed. These [C5H10O]+ ˙ species undergo mainly ethyl radical loss, with smaller contributions of methyl radical and water expulsion. 2H-Labelling studies reveal different specificities of hydrogen selection in these three fragmentations. The behaviour of these [C5H10O]+ ˙ ions is compared to those reported previously for isomeric radical cations containing linear alkenyl chains and a terminal hydroxyl group. 相似文献

The [M - H]- ions of a variety of di- to pentapeptides containing H or alkyl side chains have been prepared by electrospray ionization and low-energy collision-induced dissociation (CID) of the deprotonated species carried out in the interface region between the atmospheric pressure source and the quadrupole mass analyzer. Using the nomenclature applied to the fragmentation of protonated peptides, deprotonated dipeptides fragment to give a2 ions (CO2 loss) and y1 ions, where the y1 ion has two fewer hydrogens than the y"1 ions formed from protonated peptides. Deprotonated tri- and tetrapeptides fragment to give primarily y1, c1, and "b2 ions, where the "b2 ion has two fewer hydrogens than the b2 ion observed for protonated peptides. More minor yields of y2, c2, and a2 ions also are observed. The a ion formed by loss of CO2 from the [M - H]- ion shows loss of the N-terminal residue for tripeptides and sequential loss of two amino acid residues from the N-terminus for tetrapeptides. The formation of c(n) ions and the sequential loss of N-terminus residues from the [M - H - CO2]- ion serves to sequence the peptide from the N-terminus, whereas the formation of y(n) ions serves to sequence the peptide from the C-terminus. It is concluded that low-energy CID of deprotonated peptides provides as much (or more) sequence information as does CID of protonated peptides, at least for those peptides containing H or alkyl side chains. Mechanistic aspects of the fragmentation reactions observed are discussed. 相似文献

The homoleptic rare-earth pyrazolate complexes [Sc(tBu2pz)3], [Ln2(tBu2pz)6] (Ln = La, Nd, Sm, Lu), [Eu4(tBu2pz)8] and the mixed oxidation state species [Yb2(tBu2pz)5] (tBu2pz = 3,5-di-tert-butylpyrazolate) have been prepared by a simple reaction between the corresponding rare-earth metal and 3,5-di-tert-butylpyrazole, in the presence of mercury, at elevated temperatures. In addition, [Yb2(tBu2pz)6] was prepared by redox transmetallation/ligand exchange between ytterbium, diphenylmercury(II) and tBu2pzH in toluene, whilst the same reactants in toluene under different conditions or in diethyl ether gave [Yb2(tBu2pz)5]. The complexes of the trivalent lanthanoids display dimeric structures [Ln2(tBu2pz)6] (Ln = La, Nd, Yb, Lu) with chelating eta2-terminal and eta2:eta2-bridging pyrazolate coordination. The considerably smaller Sc3+ ion forms monomeric [Sc(tBu2pz)3] of putative D3h molecular symmetry, with pyrazolate ligands solely eta2-bonded. [Eu4(tBu2pz)8] is a structurally remarkable tetranuclear EuII complex with two types of europium centres in a linear array. The outer two are bonded to one terminal and two bridging pyrazolates, and the inner two are coordinated by four bridging ligands. Unprecedented mu-eta5:eta2 pyrazolate ligation is observed, with each outer Eu2+ sandwiched between two eta5-bonded pyrazolate groups, which are also eta2-linked to an inner Eu2+. The two inner Eu2+ ions are linked together by two equally occupied components of each of two symmetry related, disordered pyrazolate groups with one component eta4:eta2 bridging and one eta3:eta2 bridging. [La2(tBu2pz)6] has also been shown to be a Tishchenko reaction catalyst with several organic substrates. 相似文献

Polymerisation of methyl methacrylate in the presence of two catalytic chain transfer agents has been investigated. Several factors were examined to see how they would affect the chain transfer process. Oxygen and initiator impurities added to the system were found to be detrimental. The transfer process was highly intolerant of initiator impurities, but was able to endure a large excess of oxygen. The temperature dependencies of the chain transfer process were determined for cobaloxime boron fluoride (COBF) and cobalt(meso‐Ph4‐porphyrin) (CoP). The results showed that a study of MW, or ktr would be a better gauge of the catalyst activity. Activation energies were determined at two concentrations of initiator and it was discovered that the transfer process has a dependence on the initiator concentration. A mechanism for this dependency is proposed that involves a reduction in the active catalyst concentration. As a result, the measured values for Ctr, and ktr, must be apparent values. An additional consequence of the initiator dependence is that the MW of the polymer products will be directly dependent on the concentration of the initiator. 相似文献

The purpose of this study is to determine the elemental content, namely heavy metals, of samples of vine-leaves, grapes must and wine. In order to assess the influence of the vineyard age on the elemental content throughout the several stages of wine production, elemental determinations of trace elements were made on products obtained from two vineyards aged 6 and 14 years from Douro region. Abstract— The analytical formulas previously developed for estimating the spectral irradiance reaching the ground in the ultraviolet are extended into the visible and infrared(350–3000 nm). This approach has two distinct features: (1) all physical inputs for calculating the direct irradiance are given in analytical form, and (2) the diffuse spectral irradiance (skylight) is calculated using dimensionless ratios which relate it to the direct irradiance. In common with other approaches, the global spectral irradiance for arbitrary ground reflectivity is calculated from the sum of the direct and diffuse spectral irradiances and a divisor which depends upon the ground and air spectral reflectivities. The global spectral irradiance on a tilted surface may also be calculated in terms of the above quantities and two angles. As in the case of the ultraviolet, the formulas presented are intended for photobiological applications. 相似文献

The aim of this work is to evaluate the feasibility of preparation of Nb10Hf1Ti alloy by magnesiothermic reduction of its oxides. DTA studies were conducted to identify the reduction temperature for co reduction of the mixed oxides of Nb2O5, HfO2, and TiO2 by magnesium under reducing atmosphere. Based on DTA analysis, experiments were carried out to prepare Nb10Hf1Ti alloy by magnesiothermic reduction of their oxides at 750 °C. The reduced product was analyzed for its phases by X-ray diffraction. The excess Mg was leached out, the alloy mixture was vacuum dried, pelletized, sintered, and electron beam melted to get a consolidated alloy of the required composition. The alloy was characterized using different techniques such as optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and chemical analysis. Microstructural observations revealed the formation of coarse grain structure in the consolidated alloy. The alloy product was also evaluated for its micro hardness. 相似文献

The fragmentation reactions of the MH+ ions of Leu-enkephalin amide and a variety of heptapeptide amides have been studied in detail as a function of collision energy using a QqToF beam type mass spectrometer. The initial fragmentation of the protonated amides involves primarily formation of bn ions, including significant loss of NH3 from the MH+ ions. Further fragmentation of these bn ions occurs following macrocyclization/ring opening leading in many cases to bn ions with permuted sequences and, thus, to formation of non-direct sequence ions. The importance of these non-direct sequence ions increases markedly with increasing collision energy, making peptide sequence determination difficult, if not impossible, at higher collision energies.
