Decomposition of tricyclohexylidene peroxide

Conclusions In the thermolysis of tricyclohexylidene peroxide in the liquid phase a dilactone is formed, besides the earlier identified macrocyclic compounds (cyclopentadecane and hexadecanolide), which is the cyclic ester of 1,10-decanedicarboxylic acid and 1,5-pentanediol.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Seriya Khimicheskaya, No. 1, pp. 141–144, January, 1982.     

New pathway for the disproportionation of hydrothiochromenes and structural studies of the resulting compounds

A new pathway for the disproportionation of hydrothiochromenes under the influence of protic acids, which consists in intermolecular hydride transfer of a hydrogen from the alicycle and leads to the development of a hydrothiochroman, was developed. Crystal structure of the copper complex of the Schiff base from 1-(N,N-dimethylaminomethyl)-2-formylcymantrene and (S)-alanyl-(S)-alanine

The mechanism of stereoselective syntheses of amino acids via glycine Schiff base/metal complexes is discussed on the basis of data from the X-ray structure determination of (OC)₃Mn[η⁵-C₅H₃(CH₂NMe₂)(CHNCHMeC(O)N---CHMeCOO)Cu]. The absolute configuration of the latter complex is S (the Mn and Cu atoms are trans with respect to the Cp plane).     

Synthesis and crystal structure of α,α′-dihydroxydi(perfluorocyclohexyl)peroxide

Conclusions Reaction of stoichiometric quantities of perfluorocyclohexanone and 98% H₂O₂ in neutral media quantitatively forms ,-dihydroxydi(perfluorohexyl)peroxide, for which the main crystal and molecular structural parameters were determined by x-ray analysis.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Seriya Khimicheskaya, No. 4, pp. 918–923, April, 1989.
