Water and electrolyte solutions were exposed for 5 min to a weak static magnetic field (B = 15 mT). Their conductivity and the amount of evaporated water were then measured as a function of time. Simultaneously, these quantities were determined for magnetically untreated samples, as reference systems. It was found that a magnetic field influences these two parameters and their changes depend on the thermodynamic functions of hydration of these ions. A roughly linear change in conductivity versus 'scaled' functions was obtained. On this basis it was concluded that the magnetic field causes changes in the hydration shells of the ions. 相似文献

Complex formation between aluminum(III) ion and fluoroquinolone antibacterials-either moxifloxacin (4th generation antibiotic) or fleroxacin (2nd generation antibiotic) were studied in aqueous solutions without and in the presence of sodium dodecylsulfate (SDS). The investigations were performed by glass electrode potentiometric (ionic medium: 0.1 mol/dm(3) LiCl, 298 K), UV spectrophotometric, multinuclear (1H and 13C) magnetic resonance and ESI-MS measurements. The experimental data were consistent with the formation of Al(HL)L2+, Al(HL)3+ AlL2+, Al(OH)L+ and Al(OH)2L complexes in the pH interval ca. 3-8 and up to 5 : 1 ligand to metal mole ratio with range of Al3+ concentrations between ca. 0.025 to 1.0 mmol/dm3. The binary complex, AlL2+ is fairly stable (log beta(1,0,1) ca. 11.0) and its stability increases in the presence of SDS. At higher concentration ratios of ligands to aluminum, up to 5 : 1, the complex Al(HL)L2+ is formed with rather high overall stability constant (log beta(1,1,2) ca. 24.0). The ESI-MS data generally, confirmed the derived model, and the formation of the complex with ligand to metal ratio 2 : 1. NMR measurements indicate that both ligands utilize 4-carbonyl and carboxyl oxygens as donor atoms. The presence of surface active substance, SDS, favors the formation of the complex in which the ligand is protonated, i.e. Al(HL) and its maximum formation is shifted toward milder acidic region (pH ca. 4). The aluminum-quinolone complexes may affect the bio-distribution of both, quinolone and/or aluminum ion upon concomitant ingestion of aluminum-based antacids or phosphate binders and fluoroquinolones. 相似文献

The kinetic method for the determination of phosphate microamounts was described. The developed method is based on catalytic effect of phosphate on sodium pyrogallol-5-sulphonate (PS) by dissolved oxygen. The reaction was followed spectrophotometrically by measuring the rate of change in the values of the absorbance of the oxidation product at 437 nm. The optimum reaction conditions are PS (0.44×10^-3 mol·L^-1) and HClO4 (3.6×10^-6 mol·L^-1) at 25 ℃. Following this procedure, phosphate can be determined with a linear calibration graph up to 0.23 μg·mL^-1. The interference effect of several species was also investigated and it was found that the most common cations and anions did not interfere with the determination. A successful application of microwave irradiation, in which phthalocyanines were synthesized under solventless conditions from 1,2-phthalonitrile or phthalic anhydride and urea in the presence of metal templates is described. Procedures for trace cobalt determinations by adsorptive stripping voltammetry at in situ and ex situ plated bismuth film electrodes are presented. These exploit the enhancement of the cobalt peak obtained by using the Co(II)–dimethylglyoxime–cetyltrimethylammonium bromide–piperazine-N,N-bis(2-ethanesulfonic acid) system. The calibration graph for an accumulation time of 120 s was linear from 2 × 10–10 to 2 × 10–8 mol L–1. The relative standard deviation from five determinations of cobalt at a concentration of 5 × 10–9 mol L–1 was 5.2%. The detection limit for an accumulation time of 300 s was 1.8 × 10–11 mol L–1. Addition and elimination interaction of thiyl radicals with the C5-C6 double bond in pyrimidines was studied by the pulse radiolysis technique in aqueous solution with the use of different monitoring systems. For this purpose, p-thiocresol, cysteamine hydrochloride, and mercaptoethanol were used. The rate constants of addition and elimination of thiyl radicals were determined by applying the modified version of ACUCHEM (computer program for modeling complex reaction systems). Aliphatic thiyl radicals add to the pyrimidine C5-C6 double bond with k = 1.0-3.0 x 10(7) dm3 mol(-1) s(-1), whereas elimination takes place with k = 0.7-2.0 x 10(5) s(-1). Quantum chemical calculations at the B3LYP/6-31G(d)/PCM level show that the addition should occur at the C6 position of the pyrimidine ring and that the energy of interaction between thiyl radicals and the pyrimidine double bond C5-C6 is low. 相似文献

Polyalanine derivatives containing cysteamine linker R-(Ala)14NH-(CH2)2-SH, where R is ferrocenecarbonyl or hydrogen, were synthesized and then used to form self-assembled monolayers on gold. The tilt angles and the packing density of the molecules within monolayer assemblies were determined by FTIR spectroscopy and scanning tunneling microscopy, respectively. Electrochemical properties of monolayer-modified electrodes were studied using cyclic voltammetry and impedance spectroscopy. Measurements of electron-transfer rates using electrochemical techniques and scanning tunneling spectroscopy revealed asymmetry dependent on the applied voltage. It is suggested that the observed electron-transfer behavior is connected with the electric field generated by the molecular dipole of the polyalanine helix. 相似文献
