Results from a systematic study of the factors affecting extraction of cis-verbenol and verbenone from pine seeds are presented. Five extraction conditions were investigated: extraction solvent, method of extraction, extraction temperature, volume of solvent, and the ratio of the mass of sample to the amount of extraction solvent. The resulting optimized method uses magnetic-stirring-assisted extraction of pine seeds (5 g) with ethyl acetate (75 mL) for 20 min, at room temperature. RSDs were less than 5% for both compounds. GC–FID was used for quantification of cis-verbenol and verbenone in the extracts.  相似文献

Using 281 fb-1 of data from the Belle experiment recorded at or near the (4S) resonance, we have measured the rates of the "wrong-sign" decays D0 --> K+ pi- pi0 and D0 --> K+ pi- pi+ pi- relative to those of the Cabibbo-favored decays D0 --> K- pi+ pi0 and D0 --> K- pi+ pi+ pi-. These wrong-sign decays proceed via a doubly Cabibbo-suppressed amplitude or via D0-D0 mixing; the latter has not yet been observed. We obtain R(WS)(K pi pi0) = [0.229 +/- 0.015(stat)(+0.013)(-0.009)(syst)]% and R(WS)(K3pi) = [0.320 +/- 0.018(stat)(+0.018)(0.013)(syst)]%. The CP asymmetries are measured to be -0.006 +/- 0.053 and -0.018 +/- 0.044 for the K+ pi- pi0 and K+ pi- pi+ pi- final states, respectively.  相似文献

Arenediazonium o-benzenedisulfonimides have been used as efficient electrophilic partners in Au(I) catalysed Suzuki coupling reactions. The synthetic protocol is general, easy and produced either biaryls or heteroaryl arenes in good yields (51 positive examples, average yield 80%). o-Benzenedisulfonimide was recovered at the end of the reactions and was reused to prepare the starting salts for further reactions. Mechanistic insights suggest that the o-benzenedisulfonimide anion act as an electron transfer agent and promotes a catalytic cycle which does not require the presence of photocatalysts or external oxidants.  相似文献

An initial study has been accomplished into the synthetic feasibility of the preparation of diarylcarbenium salt via the direct coupling of aryl (or heteroaryl) aldehydes and arenes (or heteroaryl analogues) in the presence of a strong organic Br?nsted acid. A number of stabilized aryl or heteroaryl(3-indolyl)carbenium ions, never previously prepared in the solid state, have been isolated in excellent yields as highly stable o-benzenedisulfonimide salts and have been fully characterized. Their purity has been proven by spectroscopic methods and chemical reduction with NaBH(4). An X-ray crystal structure analysis has been performed on one of the products: an azafulvenium species was shown to be the exclusive structure in the solid state.  相似文献

We have analyzed molecular ordering in a nematic sample sandwiched between two parallel substrates, characterized by a periodically varying anchoring easy axis. If the periodicity lambda is smaller than the Debye screening length l(D) and the nematic material possesses flexoelectric properties, it is necessary to take into account also the electrostatic and flexoelectric contributions in the thermodynamical potential when the actual director field is determined. In this framework, for small deviations from the homeotropic alignment we have derived analytical expressions for the tilt angle (theta) and the electrical potential. To establish a connection with experimentally observable quantities, we have related the theta profile to the average and investigated its behavior for different values of lambda, the flexoelectric coefficient, and the anchoring strength w. Our results indicate that in a nematic with pronounced flexoelectric properties for small enough lambda, a kind of subsurface deformation appears, which substantially decreases . Therefore, effects of flexoelectricity cannot be neglected in treating nematic cells with modulated anchoring which allows bistable ordering.  相似文献

We present a measurement of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element /Vub/, based on 253 fb(-1) of data collected by the Belle detector at the KEKB e+ e- asymmetric collider. Events are tagged by fully reconstructing one of the B mesons, produced in pairs from Gamma(4S). The signal for b --> u semileptonic decay is distinguished from the b --> c background using the hadronic mass Mx, the leptonic invariant mass squared q2 and the variable P+ [triple bond] Ex - /px/. The results are obtained for events with p(l)* > or = 1 GeV/c, in three kinematic regions (1) Mx < 1.7 GeV/c2, (2) Mx < 1.7 GeV/c2 combined with q2 > 8 GeV2/c2, and by (3) P+ < 0.66 GeV/c. The matrix element /Vub/ is found to be (4.09 +/- 0.19 +/- 0.20(+0.14) -0.15 +/- 0.18) x 10(-3), where the errors are statistical, systematic including Monte Carlo modeling, theoretical, and from shape function parameter determination, respectively.  相似文献

Summary A single domain nematic liquid crystal undergoes first- or second-order transitions when placed in an external field (Fréedericksz transition). A new type of transition, giving rise to a periodic distortion of the mean molecular direction, within particular ranges of the elastic-constant ratio, has been recently studied. In this paper we show that, in a particular situation involving an electric and a magnetic field, both perpendicular to the director, and nonsymmetric boundary conditions, the periodic Fréedericksz transition is forbidden for any value of the elastic-constant ratio.
Riassunto Un cristallo liquido nematico orientato in modo uniforme subisce una transizione orientazionale del primo o del secondo ordine quando è sottoposto ad un campo esterno (transizione di Fréedericksz). Recentemente è stato studiato un nuovo tipo di transizione che, per particolari valori del rapporto delle costanti elastiche, consiste in una distorsione periodica della direzione molecolare media. In questo lavoro si mostra che quando sono presenti due campi, elettrico e magnetico, incrociati e perpendicolari all’orientazione indisturbata del nematico, e le condizioni al contorno non sono simmetriche (ancoraggio forte/debole), non si ha piú transizione periodica di Freédericksz, per qualunque valore del rapporto tra le costanti elastiche.

Резюме Однодоменный нематический жидкий кристалл претерпевает переходы первого или второго порядка во внешнем поле (переход Фрпдерикса). Недавно был исследован новый тип перехода, вызывающий периодическую дисторсию среднего молекулярного направления в некоторых областях отношения упругих постоянных. В этой системе мы показываем, что для определен электрических и магнитных полей, перпендикулярных директоры, и несимметричных граничных условий периодический переход Фридерикса оказывается запрещенным для любых значений отношения упругих постоянных.

Recently Pikin and Terent'ev have analysed the influence of the non-uniformity of the order parameter on the measured value of the surface cohesion energy in nematic liquid crystals (1988, Sov. Phys. Crystallogr., 33, 641). We argue that since the mathematical problem is ill-posed, the analysis has to be revised. In particular, quadratic terms in the second derivatives of the deformation angle and the order parameter should be taken into account.  相似文献
