Silver nanoparticles were prepared by the reduction of AgNO(3) with aniline in dilute aqueous solutions containing cetyltrimethlyammonium bromide, CTAB. Nanoparticles growth was assessed by UV-vis spectroscopy and the average particle size and the size distribution were determined from transmission electron microscopy, TEM. As the reaction proceeds, a typical plasmon absorption band at 390-450nm appears for the silver nanoparticles and the intensities increase with the time. Effects of [aniline], [CTAB] and [Ag(+)] on the particle formation rate were analyzed. The apparent rate constants for the formation of silver nanoparticles first increased until it reached a maximum then decreased with [aniline]. TEM photographs indicate that the silver sol consist of well dispersed agglomerates of spherical shape nanoparticles with particle size range from 10 to 30nm. Aniline concentrations have no significant effect on the shape, size and the size distribution of Ag-nanoparticles. Aniline acts as a reducing as well as adsorbing agent in the preparation of roughly spherical, agglomerated and face-centered-cubic silver nanoparticles. 相似文献

We present a quantum-chemical analysis of the relationship between the bond length alteration (BLA) and the static first hyperpolarizability of a series of one-dimensional (1D) chromophores with donor-bridge-acceptor (D-B-A) structures. The calculated results show that the parameter BLA can be considered as an indicator to evaluate the molecular first hyper- polarizability. Along the direction of molecular ground-state dipole moments, the evolutions of BLA can be classified into three categories: the first is a non-monotonic line, which represents most chromophores; the second is monotonic increasing; and the third, contrarily, is monotonic decreasing. On the whole, the first hyperpolarizabilities of these studied chromophores are the monotonic functions of BLA along the direction of dipole moments. Therefore, the first hyperpolarizability of these 1D chromophores can be preliminarily evaluated in terms of the development of BLA without a rigorous computation. In other words, one can roughly estimate the relative magnitude of the first hyperpolarizability according to the optimized geometry. 相似文献

The interaction of Cd2+ with uracil,2-thiouracil,4-thiouracil and 2,4-dithiouracil have been investigated by the density functional theory(DFT) calculations.For uracil and 2,4-dithiouracil,where the two basic sites are the same,Cd2+ attachment to the heteroatom at position 4 is preferred.However,for the systems where both types of basic centers,a carbonyl and a thiocarbonyl groups,are present,Cd2+ association with sulfur is favorable.The enhanced stability of these enolic and thiol forms comes from Cd2+ interaction with two basic sites simultaneously,which thereby triggers a significant aromatization of the ring.More significantly,the Cd2+ binding energy with uracil and its thio-derivatives is larger than the tautomerization barriers connecting the diketo-like forms with the corresponding enolic-like tautomers.Consequently,when associated with Cd2+,all tautomers are energetically accessible and should be observed in the gas phase. 相似文献

The kinetics of the reduction of water-soluble colloidal manganese dioxide by glycyl-leucine (Gly-Leu) has been investigated in the presence of perchloric acid both in aqueous as well as micellar media at 35 °C. The study was carried out as functions of [MnO2], [Gly-Leu] and [HClO4]. The first-order-rate is observed with respect to [MnO2], whereas fractional-order-rates are determined in both [Gly-Leu] and [HClO4]. Addition of sodium pyrophosphate and sodium fluoride enhanced the rate of the reaction. Further, the use of surfactant micelles is highlighted as, in favourable cases, the micelles help the redox reactions by bringing the reactants into a close proximity due to hydrogen bonding. While the ionic surfactants SDS and CTAB have not shown any effect on the reaction rate, the nonionic surfactant TX-100 has catalytic effect which is explained in terms of the mathematical model proposed by Tuncay et al. (1999). The Arrhenius and Eyring equations are valid for the reaction over the range of temperatures used and different activation parameters (Ea, ΔH#, ΔS# and ΔG#) have been evaluated. Kinetic studies show that the redox reaction between MnO2 and Gly-Leu proceeds through a mechanism combining one- and two-electron pathways: Mn(IV) → Mn(III) → Mn(II) and Mn(IV) → Mn(II). On the basis of the observed results, a possible mechanism has been proposed and discussed. 相似文献
