In the present study, CoFe2O4@SiO2@CPTMS nanocomposite was synthesized and the homogeneous chiral Mn‐salen complex was anchored covalently onto the surface of CoFe2O4@SiO2@CPTMS nanocomposite. The heterogeneous Mn‐salen magnetic nanocatalyst (CoFe2O4@SiO2@CPTMS@ chiral Mn (III) Complex) was characterized by different techniques including transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Fourier transform infrared (FT‐IR), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), powder X‐ray diffraction (XRD) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Then, the aerobic enantioselective oxidation of olefins to the corresponding epoxide was investigated in the presence of magnetic chiral CoFe2O4@SiO2@Mn (III) complex at ambient conditions within 90 min. The results showed the corresponding products were synthesized with excellent yields and selectivity. In addition, the heterogeneous CoFe2O4@SiO2@ CPTMS@ chiral Mn (III) complex has benefits such as high selectivity and comparable catalytic reactivity with its homogeneous analog as well as mild reaction condition, facile recovery, and recycling of the heterogeneous catalyst.  相似文献

The development of nanotechnology has generated different nanoscale-sized materials, with metal-based nanomaterials being some of the most interesting and promising. Thousands of articles in various specialized journals all over the world are dedicated to different metallic nanomaterials. Metallic nanomaterials are being widely researched, with gold-, silver-, iron-, and copper-based materials showing potential in medicine. Studies have demonstrated the effect of copper nanoparticles in medicinal herbs on the prevention, control, and treatment of microbial diseases. Experiments have examined the chemical characterization and assessment of the antioxidant, cytotoxicity, antibacterial, and antifungal activities of copper nanoparticles (Cu NPs) using the aqueous extract of Stachys lavandulifolia Vahl flower. These nanoparticles were characterized by UV–visible spectroscopy, field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), and X-ray diffraction analysis. TEM and FE-SEM images exhibited a uniform spherical morphology and diameters of 10–25 nm for the biosynthesized nanoparticles. FT-IR results suggested polysaccharides and protein in S. lavandulifolia acted as reducing agents, reducing copper ions to Cu NPs. In vitro biological experiments indicated that Cu NPs have excellent antioxidant potential against 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl, antifungal effects against Candida krusei, Candida parapsilosis, Candida guilliermondii, Candida glabrata, and Candida albicans, and antibacterial activities against Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis, Staphylococcus saprophyticus, Bacillus subtilis, Streptococcus pneumonia, Escherichia coli O157:H7, Salmonella typhimurium, Listeria monocytogenes, Proteus mirabilis, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. These nanoparticles did not have cytotoxicity properties against human umbilical vein endothelial cells. These results indicate that the inclusion of S. lavandulifolia extract ameliorates the solubility of Cu NPs, which leads to a remarkable enhancement in fungicidal and bactericidal effects under in vitro conditions.  相似文献

An experimental and numerical study has been carried out to investigate the heat transfer characteristics of a horizontal circular cylinder exposed to a slot jet impingement of air. A square-edged nozzle is mounted parallel with the cylinder axis and jet flow impinges on the bottom of the cylinder. The study is focused on low Reynolds numbers ranging from 120 to 1,210, Grashof numbers up to Gr = 10Re 2 and slot-to-cylinder spacing from 2 to 8 of the slot width. The flow field is greatly influenced by the slot exit velocity and the buoyancy force due to density change. A Mach–Zehnder Interferometer is used for measurement of local Nusselt number around the cylinder at 10° interval. It is observed that the average Nusselt number decreases with increasing the jet spacing and increases with rising the Reynolds number. A finite volume method utilizing a curvilinear coordinate transformation is used for numerical modeling. The numerical results show good agreement with the experimental results. The flow and thermal field are seen to be stable and symmetric around the cylinder over the range of parameters studied.  相似文献

In this study, the combined effect of pH, temperature and agitation speed on yellow pigment production and mycelial growth of Penicillium aculeatum ATCC 10409 was investigated in whey media. Different pH levels (5, 6.5 and 8), temperatures (25, 30 and 35°C) and agitation speed levels (100 and 150 rpm) were tested to determine the best conditions to produce a fungal yellow pigment under submerged fermentation. The best production of yellow pigment (1.38 g/L) was obtained with a pH value of 6.5, a temperature of 30°C and an agitation speed of 150 rpm. In contrast, the maximal biomass concentration (11.12 g/L) was obtained at pH value of 8, a temperature of 30°C and an agitation speed of 100 rpm. These results demonstrated that biomass and yellow pigment production were not directly associated. The identification of the structure of unknown P. aculeatum yellow pigment was detected using UV absorption spectrum and FT-IR spectroscopy.  相似文献

Recent developments are reviewed in the theory and measurement of electron-electron scattering and its contribution to the electrical and thermal resistivities for different types of conducting materials, such as extremely impure metals, one-dimensional and two-dimensional conductors, the simple metals, transition metals, semimetals, organic conductors and the A15 compounds. The discussion includes the following topics: quantum corrections to the Fermi-liquid theory of electron-electron scattering (EES) due to static disorder, the effect of the dimensionality of the system on EES, the measurement and the calculation of the EES contribution to the resistivity of metals, the observed sample dependence of EES for the simple metals, the effect of EES on electron-surface scattering for thin wires, the contribution of EES to the anomalous surface impedance and to the optical relaxation time and the effect of a magnetic field on EES.
