In this work, we investigated a carbon plasma plume produced by laser ablation of a graphite target in a nitrogen gas environment. The spatial distributions of C and N atoms were measured by time-resolved absorption spectroscopy. The spatial distributions of the relative densities of CN radicals, C2, and C3 molecules were measured using time-resolved emission spectroscopy. We determined that nitrogen gas produced an increase in carbon atom and molecule densities in the ablation plume. It was observed that the addition of RF plasma to the plume increased the CN radicals and C atom densities, and decreased the C2 and C3 molecule densities. The RF plasma changed the evolution of various fractional species of C, N, CN, C2, and C3 in the ablation plume. The chemical reactions with and without RF plasma were explained using the evolution and density of the fractional species of C, N, CN, C2, and C3in the plume. A nonlinear curve fitting program MULTI(FILT) into which the fast inverse Laplace transform (FILT) is incorporated was developed on a microcomputer. FILT is an algorithm for the numerical inversion of Laplace-transformed equations (image equations) to generate the corresponding real time courses. The pharmacokinetic models can be defined in the form of Laplace-transformed equations as a subroutine in MULTI(FILT). MULTI(FILT) achieves the numerical inversion of the defined image equations according to FILT and the subsequent curve-fitting of the inverse-transformed time courses to the experimental data points to estimate the pharmacokinetic parameters by the nonlinear least-squares method. MULTI(FILT) has a function to impose constraints on the pharmacokinetic parameters. In order to verify the reliability of MULTI(FILT), the pharmacokinetic parameters estimated by MULTI(FILT) were compared with those by MULTI using 100 time courses which were artificially generated according to the Monte Carlo method, based on data for theophylline and bishydroxycoumarin. The estimated pharmacokinetic parameters by MULTI(FILT) agreed with those by MULTI. Thus, it is suggested that FILT, developed in the field of electronic technology, is also useful in the pharmacokinetic field.  相似文献

A novel bioethanol separation process was proposed in this study employing molecular sieving carbon (MSC) as an adsorbent, whose pore diameter is close to molecular size of ethanol. In the proposed process, fermentation broth is first introduced to the adsorption bed packed with MSC. In this step, ethanol is selectively adsorbed onto MSC, with highly enriching ethanol in the micropore of MSC. Subsequently, the concentrated ethanol is desorbed from MSC to gaseous phase, resulting in further purification of ethanol owing to a considerable difference in desorption rate between water and ethanol; Because of molecular sieving effect of MSC, the desorption rate of ethanol is much smaller than that of water. To establish this process, adsorption equilibrium and kinetics of ethanol on various MSCs were investigated in aqueous phase as the first step. Also, desorption kinetics of ethanol and water in gaseous phase were investigated. As a result, it was suggested that highly concentrated ethanol could be obtained with high recovery ratio through these simple operations, meaning the proposed process is quite promising.  相似文献

Herein we report the asymmetric synthesis of α,α-disubstituted α-amino alcohol derivatives 22, 25 and 26, key intermediates of a novel immunomodulator, using Seebach’s method. This synthetic method can be applied to the large scale synthesis of chiral sphingosine 1-phosphate-1 (S1P1) receptor agonists, with significant improvements to the previously reported method with regard to the reaction temperature.  相似文献

Metal electrodes with micron scale width enable the heating of less than a dozen cells in a confluent layer at predictable temperatures up to 85 °C with an accuracy of ±2 °C. Those performances were obtained by a preliminary robust temperature calibration based on biotin-rhodamine fluorescence and by controlling the temperature map on the substrate through thermal modeling. The temperature accuracy was proved by inducing the expression of heat shock proteins (HSP) in a few NIH-3T3 cells through a confined and precise temperature rise. Our device is therefore effective to locally induce a heat shock response with almost single-cell resolution. Furthermore, we show that cells heated at a higher temperature than the one of heat shock remain alive without producing HSP. Electrode deposition being one of the most common engineering processes, the fabrication of electrode arrays with a simple control circuit is clearly within reach for parallel testing. This should enable the study of several key mechanisms such as cell heat shock, death or signaling. In nanomedicine, controlled drug release by external stimuli such as for example temperature has attracted much attention. Our device could allow fast and efficient testing of thermoactivable drug delivery systems.  相似文献

Quasi-binary (QB) picture of thermotropics, which regards a neat thermotropic liquid crystal as a binary system consisting of (semi)rigid core and molten alkyl chain, was assessed experimentally for the most famous (and representative) thermotropic mesogenic series nCB. By adding n-heptane as solvent, the smectic A phase was induced in 7CB-n-heptane system. Small angle x-ray diffraction showed that the QB picture holds not only in the phase behavior but also in the structure. It is suggested that the melting of 8CB and 9CB to isotropic liquid via smectic and nematic liquid crystals can be understood as a thermotropic-lyotropic crossover.  相似文献

Experimental studies on in-beam γ-ray spectroscopy using a 12Be radioactive beam are presented. Inelastic scattering of the neutron-rich 12Be nucleus on 208Pb, 12C, and (CH2)n targets has been studied by measuring de-excitation γ-rays in coincidence with scattered particles. The level schemes and transition probabilities are determined for low-lying excited states in 12Be. The present paper presents a brief review of the spectroscopic results, which may be associated with the N = 8 shell quenching near the drip line.
