We construct a new infinite family of quiver gauge theories which blow down to the Xp,q quiver gauge theories found by Hanany, Kazakopoulos and Wecht. This family includes a quiver gauge theory for the third del Pezzo surface. We show, using Z-minimization, that these theories generically have irrational R-charges. The AdS/CFT correspondence implies that the dual geometries are irregular toric Sasaki–Einstein manifolds, although we do not know the explicit metrics. 相似文献

The spatial distribution of the acoustic amplitude in a sonochemical reactor has been numerically calculated using the finite element method (FEM). In the FEM program, the acoustic field in a sonochemical reactor is coupled with the vibration of the reactor's wall. The present calculations have revealed that the thin (thick) glass or stainless steel wall is nearly a free (rigid) boundary and that the glass wall is freer than the stainless steel wall. The influence of the attenuation coefficient of ultrasound on the acoustic field has also been studied in order to see the effect of bubbles on the acoustic field. As the attenuation coefficient increases, the vibration amplitude of the reactor's wall becomes smaller and the acoustic emission from the vibrating wall becomes weaker. The qualitative feature of the spatial pattern of sonochemiluminescence from an aqueous luminol solution has been reproduced by the calculation when the attenuation coefficient is in the range of 0.5-5m(-1). When the attenuation coefficient is less than about 0.05 m(-1), the standing wave pattern of an acoustic field in the liquid is very complex due to the acoustic emission from the vibrating wall. The present calculations have also revealed that some stripes of pressure antinodes have also been disconnected when the radius of the transducer is much smaller than the side length of the vibrating plate. We developed a confocal microscopic method for a quantitative evaluation of the mixing performance of a three-dimensional microfluidic mixer. We fabricated a microfluidic baker's transformation (MBT) mixer as a three-dimensional passive-type mixer for the efficient mixing of solutions. Although the MBT mixer is one type of ideal mixers, it is hard to evaluate its mixing performance, since the MBT mixer is based on several cycles of complicated three-dimensional microchannel structures. We applied the method developed here to evaluate the mixing of water and a fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC; diffusion coefficient, 4.9 × 10(-10) m(2) s(-1)) solution by the MBT mixer. This method enables us to capture vertical section images for the fluid distributions of FITC and water at different three-dimensional microchannel structures of the MBT device. These images are in good agreement with those of mixing images based on numerical simulations. The mixing ratio could be calculated by the fluorescence intensity at each pixel of the vertical section image; complete mixing is recognized by a mixing ratio of more than 90%. The mixing ratios are measured at different cycles of the MBT mixer by changing the flow rate; the mixing performance is evaluated by comparisons with the mixing ratio of the straight microchannel without the MBT mixer. 相似文献

A novel synthetic method for 2,5-disubstituted dihydropyrimidines was developed. The cyclization of 1,3-diaza-4-dimethylamino-1,3-butadienes having a N-protecting group (N-Boc, N-Cbz, N-n-C4H9, N-Bn or N-Ph) with electron-deficient olefins, such as α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds, phenyl vinyl sulfone, and acrylonitrile was studied in detail. The cyclization smoothly proceeded to afford 4-dimethylamino-1,4,5,6-tetrahydropyrimidines or 1,6-dihydropyrimidines in good yields. The isolated 4-dimethylamino-1,4,5,6-tetrahydropyrimidines were converted to 2,5-disubstituted-1,6-dihydropyrimidines through the β-elimination of the dimethylamino group. 2,5-Disubstituted-1,4(6)-dihydropyrimidines were obtained after removal of the N-Boc or N-Cbz group. Independent tautomers of the resulting dihydropyrimidines were observed. 相似文献

A new cascade reaction including formal [5?+?2] cycloaddition was developed. Treatment of homocinnamyl alcohol and Co2(CO)6-complexed arylpropynal with BF3·OEt2 resulted in the generation of hydrobenzocycloheptafuran having an alkyne-Co2(CO)6 complex. The reaction consists of 5-membered ring selective Prins cyclization and subsequent Friedel-Crafts cyclization. Pyrometric interferometry has been observed during gas-source molecular beam epitaxy (GSMBE) of 3C-SiC on Si substrate using monomethyl silane. The period of the “temperature oscillation” is shown to correspond to λ/2n, with the λ and n being the wavelength used in the monochromatic optical pyrometry and the refractive index of the grown film, respectively. As is the case for other heteroepitaxies, pyrometric interferometry may provide a feasible real-time monitoring method for the growth of 3C-SiC film on Si substrates. 相似文献

In the present review, the production of O radicals (oxygen atoms) in acoustic cavitation is focused. According to numerical simulations of chemical reactions inside a bubble using an ODE model which has been validated through studies of single-bubble sonochemistry, not only OH radicals but also appreciable amounts of O radicals are generated inside a heated bubble at the violent collapse by thermal dissociation of water vapor and oxygen molecules. The main oxidant created inside an air bubble is O radicals when the bubble temperature is above about 6500 K for a gaseous bubble. However, the concentration and lifetime of O radicals in the liquid water around the cavitation bubbles are unknown at present. Whether O radicals play some role in sonochemical reactions in the liquid phase, which are usually thought to be dominated by OH radicals and , should be studied in the future. 相似文献
